Hey! How long does it usually take from arrival to gate to baggage collection? I am arriving in Frankfurt next month for the first time and will need to book a long-distance train to reach my destination!
Hello, thank you for watching, it depends on the gate you will be arriving, it will take less than 10 minutes only for the flights coming from the Middle East. Based on my experience, like on this video, flights from the Americas will take around 15 to 20 minutes, as you could see on this video, it is a long walk. My advised is to book a train 1.5 hours from your arrival time. Sometimes the wait is longer at the baggage claim area.
How do you know to which baggage claim number you should go? Thanks for the video. 🙂
When you go to the baggage claim area, there should be a big screen or tv monitor there that show different flight numbers and departure airport name or city with corresponding flight number

After so many hours to sit - it is for a health concern for to get a long walk as other wise can get blood clots .
I agree with you, we can also make a modified exercise while flying to avoid deep vein thrombosis. Travelling really required good physical health, that's why we should try to be fit always.

Yes that's correct, we passed by them, it was a long walk and I believe most of the flights arrivals from North America usually use this gate.
there is a glass window between the arrival and the departure - and even if it was not they check all detail's before with the latest high-tech whether try to cheat or not.
@@elizabethnilsson1815 if arriving from the same Schengen area, we do not require to pass through immigration, we only use the immigration when arriving from Non Schengen area, UK and other countries.

@@geraldinedoquiza7129 Hello Kabayan, you do not need to pass though immigration if you are just transiting in Frankfurt or if your have immediate connection flight. Also, If the airline has issued a boarding pass for your connecting flight then you really do not need.
For USA Citizens what is the process for passport control ?
Thank you for your question, based on what I have seen upon landing multiple times in Germany, Americans usually use the Non-European queue and will go to the same process, immigration, then to get the luggage and custom (randomly).
