My dad loved baseball. He came from a family of 14, 11 of them boys, that actually had their own baseball team. I really wish he was still alive to see this man play ball. Shohei Ohtani makes this game look easy. I doubt we will ever see his like again, in our lifetime. history is being made every time he steps onto the diamond.
My 86 year-old grandma who never watches any sports KNOWS who this monster is and understands how he makes this game SO exciting for EVERYONE! Gotta admire how magnetic a power this man has on a lot of non-baseball fans! Never seen anything like it...

Memory he'll never forget. He'll remember what a fantastic dad you are giving him the best childhood experiencing the atmosphere of the crowd and a night out with you.

The second home run is absolutely, "Textbook!" As I have posted before, I LOVE how Ohtani approaches the ball without a stride and throws his hands through the hitting zone like his teammate Anthony Randone and former All-Star Paul Molitor. Although I was born in Baltimore, this is a swing of beauty to see. A scout taught me the same approach as a prospect and minor league player many years ago and it really works without much loss of power!

It's amazing and that pitch is a 96 fastball drifting away after three off-pitches, still he was able to keep the swing full and tight. Never saw he lost his composure facing pitches of different speed.

This was the first full mlb game I’ve watched on tv and it was entirely because I’ve seen so many of ohtanis highlights online and wanted to watch him play. This game was absolutely incredible and I’m going to keep watching

Yeah, a lot of these pitches are up and in or down with movement. Most decent MLB hitters can take you deep on middle middle pitches but the pitches he's hitting are good pitches! And they arent cheap homers he's crushing the ball. So fun to watch
