A group of 6 contestants battle it out in a series of wacky and hilarious tasks to be crowned as the grand Taskmaster champion!

I mean this in the nicest way, Ian seems exactly like the kind of guy who'd carry around a druid cloak. You know, just in case.
And two different Car Seat Headrest t-shirts lmao
parker is the perfect taskmaster contestant because he’s generally competent then you ask him to name a world leader under pressure and he says “michael obama” and does charades with the energy of a child who just got into a box of pixy stix
really great tasks, david!! i think the sandwich one, from the bonus intro mini-task to the execution, is absolutely perfect. the post-credits in memoriam 🫡🫡🫡 so excited to see more chaos from the contestants!!
I'm SO glad that they decided to bring Parker back, he was my favorite contestant in series one and has the energy of a golden retriever paired with the mind of a genius on drugs and it's just hilarious.
I have to say I'm constantly surprised by the quality and sheer creativeness in TM: Minnesota, amazing work little david ha
I'm tall, I'm a very tall man
"whos the better reader? I sometimes have trouble with the vowels" that is one one the best sentences I have ever heard
Thank goodness he was able to figure out all the vowels in the end
Am I the only one watching David drive the pontoon into the dock and hear in my head “Brace! Brace!”
Hopefully you were also hearing it in your ears, as that's what I was shouting right before it crashes!
@@TaskmasterMN clearly I wasn’t watching with my normal level of attention. Glad you seized the moment!
I like how Ivo kept talking for 10 WHOLE SECONDS after saying their time started now, and everyone was too polite to stop the video.
The curse of politeness strikes again.
It really cut into Cole’s wandering in circles time
The broken club reveal - then finding out it WASN'T Parker who broke it, was a highlight
I love the callbacks to the first episode... the return of the baby, the audience's response to David's question... and the fishes of Minnesota poster is a nice touch!
"Actualy it's pretty clear down at the bottom here right now as well." "Looking for something?" I lost it 😂
It took us 3 days to recover it, but we got that baby back!
@@TaskmasterMN And then, what, ten minutes to lose it forever? That's gotta be a record
28:20 this reminds me so much of the watermelon task from UK season 1 where Romesh smashes it to the floor.
Just absolutely launched those tortilla chips, simply incredible
The fact that a couple actual Taskmaster contestants have jumped in on this makes it even better.
Edit: That live task was absolutely hilarious.
I was with Brie & David at the Renaissance Fair. They had a charades competition and the round category was movies. David clued "movie" "2" and Brie IMMEDIATELY yelled out the correct answer of Shrek 2. Glad to see him still popping off in guessing what abstract arm motions mean.
P.S. David loves charades and it's no surprise we finally see a task involving it.
He could see the Shrek in my eyes
@@TaskmasterMN For Series 3, I want to see David deliver one of the tasks by barging out of an outhouse while All Star plays in the background
The meeting of the teams was ingenious! If Alex Horne starts using this method, it would be so much better.
Last episode made me hungry for pizza, this episode gave me a craving for a PRGTC sandwich.
Alternate episode title: "Please, bro!"
I enjoyed the cleverness of David “passing out” then Luke following behind with the camera going down too with Ian’s how to video.
THAT, was too funny.
Love the implication in the in memoriam at 57:45 that the baby was purposefully hacked but accidentally burned in the life ruining instructional video
Two thoughts:
1. The end of the team task had me in tears - perhaps the funniest thing I've seen in ANY Taskmaster show.
2. Amazing taste in board games!
The sandwich task is one of the best tasks of all time.
Of all the things you spent money on for this season, the most worthwhile is surely the "Fish of Minnesota" poster.
Oh, that's been there for years!
@@TaskmasterMN oh that's awesome. Thought for sure you found it as an homage to the Fish of NZ!
@@benherr9130 They probably did theirs as an homage to us
Glad to see so many lake-centric tasks this season, makes it even more Minnesota
I need a clip of the moment where Jackson "feeds" the sandwich to the T-Rex. Its sooooooooo funny, just a tiny hesitation and then violently smashing the sandwich into the paper 😂
Jackson's incredulous "More!!?" when Parker is wildly gesturing at pickles gets me every time 🤣
I remember Little Alex Horne saying somewhere that tasks that take the shortest time and least budget to set up often end up being the best tasks and really elaborate tasks often get cut from the uk version. I kind of see why now, the golf hole task was slightly weaker than the other three 10/10 tasks today because it basically made all the contestants do the same thing.
Still an amazing episode, i did not see the rise of Jackson coming! Keep doing what youre doing, much love from Berlin
I REALLY thought somebody was going to try hitting the ball from the dock, or take the kayak, or give up finding the hole, or try to dig their own hole, or overshoot the hole on the raft straight into the water, but no such luck!
@@TaskmasterMN ah, that makes sense
Fabulous work, as always! Inviting Ivo to participate in the belief that he was a probable series winner, only for things to turn out otherwise, was both a quintessentially Taskmaster move and quite an Ivo move as well. Can’t wait for the next episode!
The zero points task for shits and giggles was so fun!! Clever idea!
A few TMNZ tasks here. Congratulations on Ivo! That scathing comment "after episode two of his series when, we thought he might win." SO funny. Baby saga was fun, sad to see it go.
Oh also, those surprising teammate intros were fantastic. "Druid summoning time!" "Follow these clues, I'm in your shower!" "AAAAAHMURDER!" It didn't take me long at all to warm up to these guys. 😂
Loving the TMNZ and TMAU references, and what a delightfully concerning end to the baby saga! And Eric's seduction and Jackson's puppy dog eyes are incredibly similar techniques, it seems haha. It's absolutely amazing how much work you've put into this, you should be so proud of creating something so brilliant! Can't wait for the rest of the series
Alex would be proud of the high quality banter in the opening 😂😂
Can I just say that the baby is gonna be the best running bit on the show😂 Also the comedic is peak I love editing. Also the banter is great you guys may be Americans but you've banter in spades - A british person
Damn, 38 points. Parker is FIGHTING. Really has a chip on his shoulder after season 1.
RIP Baby.
I just realized Parker is dressed like that one photo of The Rock
I hope you take this as a compliment when I say I wish I had discovered this until season is done being released. Because the wait every week is KILLING me
Honestly, ive seen maybe 5 series worth of the BBC version plus the two episodes of Minn S2 and i think this is one of my favorite episodes of the show in general. Im really impressed with this and cant wait for next week.
The last few seconds of the sandwich task and jackson just screaming and dancing killed me and that Sigma Infomercial was legendary
how did it take me half an hour to realize ian was dressed up as nagito
Absolutely loved seeing that live task make a return, loved the new instructions for paddles.
Also, loved the team task, even if the audience was against it being shown
Man, the sandwich team task is some of the best Taskmaster i've seen anywhere ever. Great job, lads! I'm jealous of your friendship.
You guys are doing fantastic work so far with this season! I definitely see myself going back to rewatch Jackson's instructional video again in the future. This ep was exactly what I needed after an exhausting day!
Found this through the Production Value podcast and I am OBSESSED. Sending praise from NZ
WOW that's amazing to hear!
I'd love to listen to that episode!
Haha the baby tribute at the end 😂
I'm late to the game, but y'all are knocking it out of the park!
So many hilarious moments in this episode! And I JUST NOW realized Carter is wearing a GRAPE suit. Grape That!
And Baby, I WILL REMEMBER YOUUUU
David is definitely good at finding the perfect teammates for parker. Cant wait for the rest of the team tasks of those two
That baby! What an actor! I totally believed he was dying a fiery death. The baby should have gotten the 5 points!
The baby drowned and came back to life only to die in a fire. Lol
That Minnesota lake in May must have been cold as hell.
Yeah but that's just warm to us; a nice balmy 40 degree lake
Editing is hard and takes time. Thank you for the effort! This is great
Solid live task, one that fits the particular format of this TM series. It's like an improv game, but with stakes added.
The Charades had me in tears
Another excellent episode guys! I was cackling at Parker and Jackson's group task, and the studio task was an excellent remake of a classic! Looking forward to the next episode!
this is honestly so iconic I'm glad I found this gem!!
Long time fan of the OG Taskmaster here, when I tell you that I've never HOWLED like I did while watching Jackson and Parker make a pickle sandwich! I gave myself a headache I was laughing THAT hard... They're a ridiculously unhinged pair, can't wait to see the rest of their team tasks.
PS: "I was overcome with the possibilities" should definitely go down in the Taskmaster Book of Quotes.
Same for me on the sandwich task; someone in the audience said later their fingers turned blue from lack of oxygen from laughing so hard at that!
rip baby, what a beautiful tribute
Jackson b r o k e me with the sigma male video.
okay that miming sandwich task was genuinely incredible
I cannot believe you guys filmed a find the golf hole task before the airing of season 16. Amazing!
😂 I burst out laughing more than once during the episode. After I finish this series, I'll watch the first one again. So far, my feeling is that the show got bolder in its approach and that makes it feel like it leveled up. I usually skip the live tasks on TM but here, I really enjoyed the last task. The forms of persuasion the contestants had to use, despite apparently being restrictions, gave them the freedom to use approaches they wouldn't have used otherwise. Everyone seems too nice to resort to threats or seduction as techniques to win 6 points, for example.
The tutorial for the sigma lifestyle was also hilarious. I was happy to hear a room full of young people laughing at that.
Thank you for another very funny episode.
Ooh, a TMNZ task! Haha, unless somehow you filmed after its recent reappearance in TMUK's series 16? That doesn't seem possible... but maybe??
Holy hell, the team sandwich task ended on an amazing note.
Thank you for proving a US version could be good. Keep up the good work!
Another great episode, and that live task definitely delivered, along with the Ivo cameo. Love it!
I can't believe I watched this. I can't believe I liked it. I can't believe I'm starting the next episode.
I love what you're doing with this season. Great job pond baby!
you guys have really gotten this down, I hope that you're able to continue doing this because you're really getting into the swing of it now!
Hilarious as always (I keep rewatching so many moments), this season's been great so far. Also love the Danny Devito pillow.
i watched all of season 1 about a month after it came out. told my friends about it, loving season 2. keep it up.
I love you all! Thank you for doing this!
as an avid taskmaster fan and proud minnesotan, this is one of my favorite things ever! i'd argue better than taskmaster uk because in minnesota, the contestants are allowed to go on the roof lol!!
When announcing the golf clubs as prizes there was a missed opportunity to say, "This episode's prize is both clubs, one slightly more _broken_ in than the other."
53:40 is an excellent moment
Love the Cosmic Encounter cameo in this one! The taskmaster stuff is good too, I guess
When Ian popped up in the druid cloak I stopped breathing from laughing so hard
FISH POSTER!!
(I see what you did there 🎣)
24:45 RUM HAM!!!
Cole's video made me laugh so hard
the Jerma of Minnesota!
Great episode, also love Ian's danganronpa outfit lol
I’m excited there live task now. I’m so curious as to what will happen
RIP to baby
I think Parker accidentally made a "How to kill yourself" video there ... isn't burning cheap toy plastic like that toxic? :P
it is but most people survive unless they do it in an enclosed space where the fumes can't escape
Does this mean the end of the baby's career? 🥺😢
I'm really enjoying this as a long time tm fan, but would've liked for there to be a prizetask tbh. Why no prizetask?
David explained in Season 1 that it’s because they’re poor college students and don’t have enough stuff for prize tasks.
the taskmaster guy looks sooo uninterested in this series it actually mkes it funny... hes like the old teacher that caant be asked anymore
