My mom said when I was about her age I screamed for over a day. She undressed and redressed me multiple times checking for anything that would explain it. when she was about to lose it she undressed me again and checked every finger and every toe only to find one tiny little thread wrapped around one of my toes. She removed it and I went to sleep. You never really know what is causing the issue, just breathe, keep looking and loving her. It'll all work out. She's precious and you are rocking it!

Omg. We had that experience when my oldest was a baby. And on Christmas Day. Had a small hair wrapped around her tiny toe. Had to have my dad help me remove it. The toe had gotten so swollen it was hard to see the hair. My dad was so calm and amazing at helping me.i was a frantic mom and a basket case over her toe being swollen and not so pink as the other toes

My oldest had a fussy screaming I have had to much stimulus for the day fits every day for an hour and a half. I would place her in her car seat and work on cleaning the kitchen. The only thing we found that would settle her was the cat. The cat would circle around the car seat 3 times and then get into the baby's face and chirp at her. Repeat. 45 minutes of this and my little girl would finally settle. Just wished I could get the cat to do it more often.

I had to stop this about 6 minutes in to say is it just me or does Kaylee make motherhood LOOK TOO EASY?? Lololol That baby is just perfect and so is mommy (and daddy). We love you....can't believe you will be back in Panama soon as a family. I picture Kaylee working outside tending to the farm with Sadie strapped to her back just going with the flow. I love that you brought Lola back home with you..I love that even though you have a farm full, she goes where you guys go. Rock on!

Hardest thing I have ever done in my life was taking care of my Son from birth til about 4 every night when I got home from work. My Wife would go to work when I got home. I cannot explain how much work and stress it was and I never want to go through it again. Thankfully my Son is 8 and my Daughter (4) had Mommy home at night when she joined us. But man, some nights when I was alone with a 2 month old screaming for hours I had to walk away. It is a very trying thing to be alone with an infant. Great attitude you have though! I also appreciate that you appreciate the need for Jordan to be there with you. It is all very important - together.

Kaylee you did the best thing for Sadie, getting her adjusted will help her so much, in so many area's, I was a Chiropractic Asst. for many years in NY, I watched the DC do a full spinal adjustment on a newborn baby girl that never had a bowel movement and the regular MD's were going to do surgery on her, The mother brought her in as a last resort, the Chiropractor adjusted her and bammmm she poooooed just as he was finishing, it was amazing the mother was crying with joy and so was I. It is one thing I will never forget. I'm 60yrs old now and I saw so many miracles happen in that Chiropractors office but that one was by far the most memorable.

Kaylee, consider staying with the 4 + bonus grandparents through the holidays. A lot of commenters will agree not many kids out there have all the grandparents around. Sadie will love seeing pictures of herself with her grandparents when she is older and they are no longer around. Have Jordan come up, he could use 2 weeks parental leave and let him have to entertain and take care of Sadie for 2 days straight by himself hihi so he understands that motherhood is not about watching TV all day eating bonbons hihi. Seriously, do consider giving the grandparents the gift of spending the holidays with their grandchild. Next year, they can visit you guys at the property in Panama, Sadie will be older and more independent and easier for you to travel to Panama. Twenty years from now, you will realize that this commenter was right about spending that first holiday will all the grandparents.

As Sadie gets older and before she begins speaking, you can teach her to communicate her wants or needs with sign language! A friend of mine did that with their babies, and they calmed down as soon as they could tell her what they wanted - simple signs like eat, sleep, play, walk, cuddle. I would highly recommend learning a few basic signs, and just repeat them each time you feed her, or cuddle, or put her to bed - it gives her a tool to communicate before speech develops, and helps you understand her needs / wants better.

Generator Noise Solution - Build a small two sided concrete block enclosure for the generator. The sound will bounce off the shallow wall and go in the other direction. Noise reduced by at least 70%. With the baby coming….do it now. Leave the ground natural to absorb the downward sound waves.

Sadie and Lola will become the best of friends. They just need time to learn a little bit more about each other. They have bonded through you and Jordan. In time they will create their own special bond.
Sorry Sadie has a sore tummy. Colic in babies seems to be one of the least understood infant discomforts. What is hurting her and why?
One of my grandchildren really suffered with colic. Of course we all wanted to take the pain from her. It seemed nursing was all that comforted her.
My daughter drank goats milk and that seemed to help. Lots of gentle tummy rubs. Massage her little feet and hands.
Not much room for a neck massage but just the tip of a finger gently stroking her neck, ears and chin might help to soothe her.
I am sure you’ve done all these things and more. Just keep doing what you naturally do so well.
The four of you have been together, closely bonded constantly with brilliant recently.
Certainly what affects Mommy, Daddy and Lola little Sadie feels too!
Keep singing and being your dear sweet self. Sadie is beautiful and has a brilliant smile. Embrace those special moments.

@19:23 - If you set your circular saw blade to the depth of your inlay, you can then cut lots of little channels that then become super easy to remove with a chisel or a multitool. That way your depth will be bang on across the entire inlay.

The both of you together are going to raise Sadie and I'm sure at least one more, in an environment of love and the wonders of Panama. The really neat thing is she will have lots of Aunt's and Uncle's around to help you.

Loved this video! You are both doing such a great job- Sadie has been born into a blessed life! Kaylee, I had to laugh when I realized I was "rocking" my iPad while watching you rocking Sadie in her bouncy seat! That's the result of bouncing and jiggling my three kids- the mommy jiggle is still ingrained years later! Jordan, the doors are gorgeous! Love the artistic touches throughout the projects! The joy in your videos is truly uplifting! 💗

I see so much Jordan in little Sadie! I’ve never heard of baby chiropractic but I wonder in hindsight, if what they call Colic isn’t actually discomfort of misalignment from the birth experience. ✨ Those doors look gorgeous ; a perfect day.

This is dangerous territory. If a doctor was at all concerned about any possible 'misalignment', Sadie would be referred for xray. Sadie seems to be more upset SINCE the visit to the chiropractor. THAT would concern me. I would trust a very experienced Dr over any chiropractor, any day.

I just found your channel a couple of weeks ago and what pulled at me was both of your happy positive vibes and idk about anybody else but I def welcome that in my life today!! It's so hard to stay positive and hopeful in such trying times as the past yr + has been, so seeing your positive vibes and genuine happiness radiate through your videos is what caught my attention and I just want to thank you for sharing your lives with us! I was diagnosed bipolar back 20 plus yrs ago and the past 8 yrs have been extremely difficult for me as far as my depression and anxiety and watching your videos has helped with that, I can't explain why because I honestly don't know lol but my guess is how calm and happy you truly are shows and it's nice to see that during these dark times. So you may not even realize it but just watching your videos help me and give me hope and put me in a better state of mind. So thank you!!! Your family is absolutely perfect and you are such a good mommy!!

Thanks for sharing your family, friends and community with us. And for once I was able to see you content and order coffee before it sold out. It's for my daughter's Christmas gift. She is a wine sommelier and coffee lover so she'll get a kick out of testing your coffee. God bless you a double portion for your family. And may He continue to bless your business.

Do I dare say it? Can you raise another, workshop (now that you have the lumber drying room) and get all the tools out? You are so close to converting the workshop into a solid home. Build a set of tiny house stairs (providing added storage and stability for baby transport) to the loft leading to a walkway and a second loft for future use. I LOVE the doors--it's your signature design Jordan. Seriously, it's already a house w a heart--it needs to be home! I'm a skilled volunteer that can help manage the project manage the process with you.
