Their words about their community - "You build your first house for your enemy, your second one for your friend and your third one for yourself". By excluding the A-frame build from their videos, gave the impression that they are no longer building the second house for their friend. These words were repeated by them many times and I thought these words are a core principle of their community. Or maybe I am mistaken in thinking this? I can understand creating a space for Roderigo to build his channel... but I think they are going about it the wrong way. They need to show small updates on Roderigo and the A-frame build, to show that Roderigo is still a part of their community and they are still building the second home for their friend. Otherwise why would you stick around for the third home build, if they skip the second? Roderigo just needs to work out a way to make his channel, his own, while still being a part of the community.
@@romlyn99....Another possibility. There are no more house starts on the horizon. A shower/bathroom/laundry building will be built adjacent to the workshop/house. That will be adequate for the visits to the farm. Living emphasis shifts to New England.

Ah, it's their fault for saying they're there 💯 to help build his house, then recently post in videos they're taking a break from helping him since they'll be living in tool shed for at least 2 years and need to make it look like a home.
It doesn't add up!!!! Even in jungle boys videos he said he understands they're taking a break to not help him to focus on their place to make it more like a home.
So I smell BS. It was just an excuse.

As an Old HIppie from the 60s and 70s I personally will never ever judge y'all. I lived the commune life and it was the most beautiful time of my existence. I love what you are creating and how you are approaching life. Love and Respect can move mountains and build a life worth living. Peace and Love.

I'm sitting here smiling at your spot-on comment. What I find hysterical on some deep level is the audacity of some to question or criticize them AT ALL! The first thing that comes to mind is...for pity sake those making such comments are sitting on their arse at home and have probably NEVER lived in a healthy inter-dependent community themselves nor taken up the challenge to actually live their OWN LIVES fully! I can assure you that those who have followed you for an extended period of time have seen the mutual respect and love you have among everyone living on Lola’s farm. Having stated that, I like that there is not as much overlap between Rodrigo and your videos…but I too did wonder why you were not helping him as much. It all makes sense now! Carry on and enjoy your lives because we love going on the journey with you ! 💗
Rodrigo made a statement in one of his earlier videos that he was going to do as much of the work & welding on the A-frame as he could because it is his home, but that when he needed help, that everyone else on the property would be there to help him. So that just confirmed what we already knew, that Jordan & Kaylee would never abandon Rodrigo or any of their friends/family on the property. Love watching Rodrigo figure it all out, & also seeing Jordan & Kaylee continue to make improvements, & seeing Sadie grow & bring joy to everyone. God Bless, stay safe 🙏❤💙.

Kaylee, your matching hat with Sadie’s is so darling. Love it, and really loved to see the whole community together raising the 3rd A-Frame. It was visually the “hands and feet” of what you have shared with us about your dream of “building a community”. I’ve missed that in the months Rodrigro was backpacking and you guys were preparing for birth and preparing to return. Hoping to see more of the camaraderie, no matter how small.
Love watching you two/three. I totally understand what you’re doing. Those that don’t, keep watching and see what real life is like. Most of us are privileged, but just look at how happy they are!

I have enjoyed watching the build from both perspectives. Also loved watching the Jungle boys adventures. Rodrigo is such a beautiful young man and we all got to know him very personally whilst he was travelling. No doubt people are protective of him. I loved you guys and found you through Trent and Allie, but I am concerned that Rodrigo is working on his own, if he hurts himself there is no one there to help him. It's sad because work is so much easier when you have company. He trusted that the community would be there for each other. Anyway glad to see you all working together again.

I genuinely think its cause they didnt wanna overshadow rodrigo’s content. They didnt say it, in fact I’m certain that they will never say that because thats just who they are. I honestly think that if they continue working on the a frame full time it’ll end up as ‘the nomadic a frame’ instead of ‘rodrigo’s a frame’ - just how i look at it but i do agree that i love watching them work together because thats what the farm is about

Watching Sadie interact with Roger is amazing. Roger is amazing, he'll just lay there while Sadie pulls his fur, and he just takes it. Most cats would run away, or slap her with their paws. Just amazing to watch the love between them.

Glad you addressed this. From a viewers pint of view, when everyone returned, it left us wondering why the A-frame wasn't resumed. I think its human nature to jump to incorrect assumptions to fill in the blanks. I've watched every video for the past 3 years and know the love and compassion you have for yourselves, your friends and the community you are building. Your recent videos shows you completing your "tasks" and Rodrigo completing his...but there was a void and it felt like we as viewers missed a "chapter" of your story.

We were just wondering what was happening especially after watching Rodrigo's video's it looked like no one was helping him to build his house and he was by himself. It was kinda sad and I was asking myself "why isn't anyone working with him on this house anymore?" And then I saw you guys building the pizza oven, which was great, but it them made me even more sad. I didn't comment because I thought it was just me, but now I know it wasn't. Rodrigo ISN'T homeless! Why would you feel sorry for him? He's living in a vibrant supportive community. He even stated he would ask for help when he needed it.
You remind me of my parents. They moved to a new location and together built a small one bedroom house with two daughters while mom was pregnant with me in early 1950. With very little help from others they finished the house and even lived in it before it was complete. My parents were self reliant, strong and always helped others, but they weren't afraid to move forward relying on themselves for completion of projects. In about 1963 they built a larger home, largely on their own, from the ground up. Congratulations to you for allowing Rodrigo to gain self confidence, knowledge and experience to become the person he is today. It's exciting to see all of you working in an honorable way and setting such a great example for Sadie and your subscribers. You are awesome!

When you think of it, that short sentence can transform your life, as it did mine. I LOVE you all on Lola's Farm including the non-human beings. Don't let others opinions affect you... Wanting to voice their opinion in such a hurtful way only makes them unhappy! I am 74 years old and absolutely love your videos! I look forward to each one. It is fun watching your everyday life and how much you have shared with me. It was fun when you traveled all over with the bus…..all that you had to do to buy the land for Lola’s Farm. But the most awesome thing you have shared (in my opinion) is following you all through the pregnancy. We even knew about the positive pregnancy test before Jordan did! 💝. Then through the whole pregnancy and DELIVERY! Know what? There will always be those who criticize and are negative. It’s sad but unfortunately true. As I watched today I thought...WOW! Lola's farm is amazing and with so much love! When people are busy pointing fingers at others they miss that they have 3 more fingers pointing at themselves! That is not what Lola's farm is about at all. I appreciate you all! Thank you for sharing your lives with me! Sadie has good examples in her life. She is so cute! Her personality is so cute! I'm happy to see the crew all together again in this video! I think having people being upset about y'all not helping him could've been avoided if it would've been explained a long time ago. I mean, I've been seeing comments for a while now and I commented last week. I don't understand why some UA-camrs don't just address things when they keep seeing all the comments and questions. The same thing happens on Trent and Allie's channel. People will ask the same question over and over and they never address it. It's only because we care deeply for Rodrigo that people have been upset or questioning. Love you guys and you have honestly been my number one channel for a really long time now!😘💞
I am so proud of you Bostonians carving out a country life on the side of a mountain! Having grown up in a small town in Vermont, life is much different than city life...we do things differently...not right or wrong...just different. Surviving and thriving requires being able and willing to adapt to your environment. I now live in Santa Fe, which I love, and am still amazed to, once again, be living in a small city. I have been criticised for composting, mulching and growing my own food, and I will continue to do it because it gives me joy. I watch your channel because you live joyfully as well. I love what you guys and your friends are doing in Panama. You guys are fearless. The sense of community is evident. My wife and I, sold everything and traveled in a small trailer almost exclusively off grid for 2 years. Such a great experience but did miss our old friends and a sense of belonging.Covid had made it worse and we still haven't made new friends. Luckily we have some family and a 11/2 year old grandson 2 hrs away.

For anyone watching your progress, we can see how much your care and love for one another has also grown. For those that spin it, don't get it and are only jealous of what life you live.
