Jenny demonstrates how to make a favorite antique quilt pattern using 10 inch squares of precut fabric. For this project, she used the digitally printed "Bliss" collection by Northcott Fabrics.
The Big T quilt block is sometimes called Folded Corners, and it comes together quickly with flying geese and half square triangles. Jenny shares the secret to perfectly sharp flying geese points, and she uses her trusty squaring tool and bias seam tape to keep things tidy.

Here in northern sweden it is minus 14 degrees Celsius today, nature is coverd with snow, there are small sharp snowflakes in the air and it is still dark most of the day, BUT IT IS FRIDAY. So, I jump out of bed, rush out with my dog, make my coffee and then I'm ready to enjoy my Friday morning. All because I know Jenny is waiting for me.
I love you, Jenny. You are the highlight of my week!
Well done, Jenny and crew! Thanks for the beautiful blocks and explanations. And you are right - no one has EVER handed back a quilt and said, "Sorry...a point is not quite right - or you have machine sewn the binding and I reject that!" LOL
Jenny’s demonstration and instructions are always so clear. This is such a happy pattern.
This is really my kind of block!! It looks rather difficult, but it is really simple...and makes a beautiful quilt!
Thanks 🙏🙏
I really love this quilt. You are an AMAZING lady. You videos are always interesting and I learn so much from you. Thank you for all you do!!!
Such a pretty quilt! I really love your tutorials Jenny. You always inspire and motivate me.
Hola desde España, Gracias por sus clases
Hi Jenny and your wonderful family 💞. I have just recently started watching your channel. I have been quilting since I was about 4yrs old. I learned so much from my great grandma, grandma and mom but they have all passed away and now I am a lone quilter. I love seeing you and your girls enjoy quilting together, it makes my heart so happy. I so wish I still had that in my life. Thank you to you and your family for bringing that joy and wonderful memories back. Much peace, love, happiness and blessings to you and your family🥰
Three years ago I made an orange and white t quilt for my co-grandparents for their Christmas present. They are University of Tennessee fans. The ts look like hound dogs! My son and daughter-in-law are UT grads.
I love watching you sew because I am left handed and you aren't sewing backwards! Another great tutorial!
I hope this one lands in Block magazine! So beautiful. Classic looking quilt. :)
Thank you!
This so beautiful, and seems so easy😊 . And hardly any waste! Thanks Jenny. 🇦🇺
Love your videos. Thanks
I just love the way Jenny talks through her quilting! Makes you feel as tho she's just to you personally, and makes the videos so enjoyable.
Omg I absolutely love this block. Thank you.
This is beautiful! Adding to my “to do” list!
You can tell Jenny has been making these video tutorials for awhile. She has this down to a science. I love her no nonsense approach. Much much easier to follow than some who have lots of chat with the instructions. I've learned how to quilt from her & probably have watched each & every tutorial more than once
Not gonna lie. I have sewn 2 blocks together. Sometimes I left it there, Sometimes I unsewed it.🙂 Glad I'm not the only one. But enuf about me.... I really love this quilt. It's beautiful. Looks easy enough for even me.
Beautiful
You make it look so easy, And the comment about not getting a quilt back because the points don't match was great! TFS
That's one awesome block! Thank you for a very interesting tutorial
Thanks Jenny, always happy to watch you work. Makes it easier for me.
Thanks Jenny that’s a beautiful quilt you’re so inspiring and I know you work so hard to get a tutorial out each week we all appreciate that so much

Your hairstyle is to die for, if my hair was short, I’d love that look
Love watching Jenny make quilts . She helped me learn to make quilts and her technique for connecting the ends of binding when sewing it on . Works every time .

You hit it out of the park again! That fabric is so beautiful and I love seeing it on a vintage block, it looks great. Once again you broke it down to an easy way to put it together. Thanks a bunch!
I love to hear your mantras. ❤️

Oooh! I love it when the flying geese are in a contrasting color! That’s so cool!
How pretty.. it's fun to watch your videos. Thank you so much 🥰
I love how you make it look so easy. You are truly amazing and talented. As a beginner, I look at quilt patterns and think immediately that it's too complicated!! I will definitely make this one!!! Thank you.
More of these antique blocks would be a good thing.

Very pretty fabric and great quilt block.♥️🇦🇺
Just ordered!!
Thank you Jenny, you dont know what joy I get from your tutorials, I can never seem to catch you on your regular show now, is it like Friday night at 10 cst or maybe the customer service center can help me set notifications for your show, it always brings me unbelievable excitement wondering what you have in store for us. Thank you again, you’re the best and please know how apprised you are.
Very nice and beautiful and very easy, I love it,thank you for the video.
Love it! It looks so much more complicated that it is. I also love how you are now referring to crumb quilting. I’m so looking forward to making some crumb blocks too. 😍
Jenny I love your tutorials. You make putting these blocks together so simple and fun. I love the older block patterns and this is one I’ve never seen. Thank you and have a wonderful weekend.
Thank you Jenny. Great tutorial. 🇨🇦
Wow! Simple yet stunning. Thank you for inspiring me.
I love this block! Especially like your block in solids
I'm watching you and trying to hand quilt! Thanks for posting this video!
Another beautiful block. I appreciate how you take a difficult looking block and break it down into easy to do steps. How you come up with new quilt each week is incredible! You asked if we’ve ever sewn extra pieces together, well yes I have and sadly many times. 😆😆🤣
Oh my gosh, you could use a layer cake and a charm and make it larger. I'm always on the hunt for a pattern that has multi-precuts and rarely find them.
I'm so excited I made a new Playlist!
So beautiful 😍
That block looks difficult to do, but after watching the tutorial I think it will be easy thank you for all you do for us 👍👏🥰💐🇦🇺
I kept watching the video thinking, there's no way what she's doing is going to turn into the blocks in the quilt hanging there. Then my face was like 😲😛 Fantastic!! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and talent with us. ♥
Thank you, Jenny. I was reading an article this morning in a quilting magazine. The designer highlighted had a T-quilt someone from Germany gave her. I loved it and wondered how i could get the pattern. I come downstairs to get my Friday Jenny fix, and what quilt are you featuring - the "Big-T Origami" -quilt! YAY! Made my day! Be safe in all that snow everyone. Stay in and quilt! 🥰🧵🪡❤
Thank you
Can't wait to make this
