p s u can get the soap from Amazon. But what I did was, I used a general soap that I usually use(Dove in my case) . Be sure to put it in a alumium or glass container, then place it in the microwave, don't worry about light fumes. Later I added olive oil, coffee powder and crushed green tea leaves. It turned out great. But u need to be quick and place it in a mold. I used a empty youghurt container. And tore it to get the soap after freezing😊

when you stick melt and pout in the freezer it causes it to sweat through out its "life" better outcome if you just let it set up on its own on the counter. literally takes almost the same amount of time. 15-30 minutes depending on size

First step is cut soap into cubes. That is call Glycerin Soap. This makes glycerin soap vegan-friendly and a great option for people with sensitive skin. Your skin's natural oils are often stripped during the bathing process, whether from hot water or harsh products. Glycerin can help lock in your skin's natural moisture and prevent over-drying. Glycerin soap will clean the body and leave the skin feeling soft and supple. When used as a face wash, glycerin soap will remove the excess oil from the skin to unclog pores.

You all who are criticizing this lady for making her beautiful soaps are not being nice. I watched other videos and most of the the other people who “made” soaps used the same method she did and got compliments. All she did was skip the method of using a chemical method (lye) that she probably felt was dangerous and didn’t want to take that chance. Keep making your beautiful soap and be blessed. I’ll going to do just what you did. Your soaps are BEAUTIFUL

Hi! I noticed you used essential oils in your melt and pour soaps and I was just wondering how you prevented the fragrance from disappearing once the soaps solidified? I made soap about a week ago and I put in fragrance oils almost immediately when they came out of the microwave (that may be the problem - it was too hot) and the fragrance disappeared.

Technically, this is a way of making soap. I think it's the melt and pour process (I think). They're using a soap base (where you don't have to handle the lye yourself and accidentally make the soap too acidic) and then you make it the color and smell you want. You can still make your own soap from scratch, but you would need to buy a special instrument. I think it's called a lye measurer of something along those lines? I'm not completely sure, though.

After researching more soap making on youtube, this person is using a "soap base" which was created using lye and vege oil. "from scratch" soap makers do this themselves. this person probably purchased the base from a manufacturer. this allowed them to skip the saponification step mixing lye and oil. lye is very caustic and they probably did not want to chance using it. after melting the soap base, they added ingredients, like fragrance, just as "from scratch" soap makers do after saponification. this is a simple technique that skips the potentially hazardous step. kudos. you can buy soap base on amazon...
