I think the disappearing yarn is on your end. I've seen several other UA-camr's video on this game like Johnny's review of it and Nitro Rad's review of it, and none of them had this problem. I think something's up with your computer.
The big issues with PC is that they are all build differently and the programmers cannot check on every hardware combination. Caddy just has bad luck that his setup was not tested enough.

Do you want a good version of this game with actual interesting gameplay and art direction? It's called Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams. It's got a cool character-switching mechanic, features the return of some cult-classic game characters people actually like, and it's by the same developers as this, except they actually tried. Also, I think it's a nice touch that, whenever you're sponsored by BetterHelp, you use one of the songs from Celeste, a game with a major focus on depression and mental health. 👌

But for the record, gold is not stiff. At room temperature, it is incredibly malleable - to the point that large quantities of pure gold can easily deform under their own weight.
Look at it this way , if characters like Bubsy can come back from the dead after so many years without a game,it does give hope that characters like Earthworm Jim ,Gex, and Croc can come back as well , so that's a definite positive.
