This projector sucks. I took an hour to try and dial in the colors and sound and then I watched 3 movies in a row. For each movie I had to again dial in the correct colors (normal I guess) It has a blue yellowish overall green tint to it no matter how much you tweak the colors. You can't control TINT and there is no SATURATION either. While you're messing with the Vivid, Standard & Soft screen color; the menu covers the whole picture except for maybe a couple of inches off to the side of the menu, which is pointless because you can't tell if it is any good or not until you back completely out of the menu. On the other hand, if you choose the USER option the menu will go away, and you'll only see the individual choices of CONTRAST. BRIGHTNESS, COLOR. If you can look past all of that the audio is terrible too. When you connect the AUX cable to an external sound source and pop a DVD in and push play, you'll begin to hear the sound of the disc spinning inside of the player. I don't mean you can hear the machine making noise, what I mean is, you can LITERALLY hear the sound of the disc spinning through the audio cord and right on through the speakers. The louder you turn the volume & treble up, the louder the bbiiizzzzzzzzzz..... sound will get. AND... During this whole time of watching the three movies a solid blue screen would appear for about 2 seconds completely covering the picture. I also hooked up my exterior DVD player up to it and it still would have this solid blue screen covering the movie. I spent $150 on it, and I know it's pretty much just a toy, but I really don't think it should have the audio and the blue screen issues happening either. The crappy Color settings I can see. ANY WHO, I'm sending it back and try to find another one. Hope this helps someone/anyone.
Mine got a Big black dot that continued to get bigger until it covered the entire projector screen and now everything is black and only had it for two days.
Just bought this yesterday and should get it today but I didn't pay $150 only paid $99 for mine and plan on using it on my windows for Halloween digital decorations.
Bought mine today at Goodwill for $40 couldn't pass up. Plus it had an adapter for my ps2 yellow/red/white audio video cord. Looks DVD quality not too bad.
Have you found a way to clean this thing? Ive had it for a while now, and some dust has managed to find its way inside. I always wonder if an actor on screen has a mole or something, until they move, and its just dust in my lense.

Yes, I checked it is the best selling projector on Amazon.......... and it is affordable too because you get a built-in DVD player too....

Does anyone know what bulb I need to use as a replacement? Or are they kinda universal?

It has a built in speaker but you can usually get better sound using an external one

The speakers are not loud enough to hear a DVD MOVIE. ANY SUGGESTIONS HOW TO GET VOLUME LOUDER?
i would use an external speaker for any projector with lower volume

you could try to use air in a can or something similar, if that doesn't work, you may have to take apart to get to where thats at to clean it.
