I can't believe this video was uploaded 16 years ago. UA-cam was barely a blip on the radar. I remember watching this video on Comcast On Demand in 2007! It's a badass song.
I saw them on the 2nd stage of Ozzfest 2007 I remember going to hot topic like two days earlier and picking this album up because I saw an ad for it on Headbangers Ball
I think, the older you get the more you appreciate the older styles of bands... She shows So much dynamic vocal range in this song. Don't get me wrong, I love love Love Adrenalize Me, but her voice & the instrumental in this is Fan Fuckin Tastic 🙌🙌🙌
Silent night, let me sleep away these memories within Sacrifices of purity are turning into sins And this judgement day is growing near And this confession is killing me again This beautiful tragedy is crashing into me This dying destiny So now you lay yourself down in this grave with shattered eyes Beautiful melodies to try and wash away the lies And this judgement day is growing near And this confession is killing me again This beautiful tragedy is crashing into me This dying destiny, take me away This beautiful tragedy come crashing into me This dying destiny Will you be there? Will you be there by my grave? Or will you be the death of me? My beautiful tragedy This beautiful tragedy is crashing into me This dying destiny, take me away This beautiful tragedy come crashing into me This dying destiny
The passion, the intensity of her performance, the power amd range of her voice, this is what makes this song my favourite of all from Maria Brink and In This Moment
First time I heard this song was when the video was when I was looking for new bands to get into, and this video was played on Headbanger's Ball on MTV 2 back in 2007. Been a fan ever since. Love this band, and she still stands as one of my all time favorite singers, and my biggest celebrity crush. Even got to do a press interview with Chris Howorth and Travis Johnson in 2012. Huge moment for me.. love this band!!!
The first time I heard this song, I immediately on a "in this Moment" trip. There was nothing else. Today, years later, I remember again why it was like this. This Song is timeless and my absolute favorite.
I Remember when my dad would play this song almost every night... He would blast it on his speakers, and he told me what the song was about... Something terrible or sad can turn into something beautiful, I didn't understand it because I was only a child when he told me now that he is gone I understood what the song meant... my mom didn't have much to do with me when I was younger because her and my dad had gotten a divorce but since his death me and her had gotten closer and understand eachother, and even if she had been divorced from him she was like a best friend to him and even though I was his daughter (now son, Im transgender lol) he was my best friend and because of that it lead to me and mom's grieving turn into a close relationship between me and her that I never thought would happen... I love this song and it will always make me think of my father and how much he did for me even when he left this world 💕
my dad was the same way, as a kid I was OBSESSED With this song and didn't know why, I love it and randomly I'm adding songs to my Playlist and think of this randomly. as a kid my dad would play songs like this, slipknot, sum 41, and more rock, pop, 2000s, 1990s, 2010s songs. Honestly I miss these eras and miss the old music. I love this ty
Sorry for your loss i hope you are still in good relations with your mother and it also made me really realize what this song was saying when i lost my friend. The video was made perfect to reflect the song
Con este tema volví a tener 13 años y me teletrasporte irme de viaje con mis abuelos por las provincias de Argentina ❤❤❤❤ que hermoso tema dios !!!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🥰♥️
My ex and I started dating when this song came out. We were friends since middle school. She had an awful kidney disease and died last year. I had 11 years of a beautiful tragedy. Even with the tragedy, there is still beauty. This song will always make me think of her. And she loved her metal, hard rock and alt rock.
Sorry to hear about your pain. My current has T-1D and it has ruined her kidneys too. We didn't meet until college & she's not a metal head, but she does admire Maria's strength of voice.
Buen tema. In this moment de lo mejor del metal. María tiene una voz extraordinaria. Y su belleza es infinita, es tan hermosa que aunque el video parece en blanco y negro tiene el mejor de los colores. Forever Maria. I LOVE YOU ❤❤😚😚
8 years.. Wow. 8 fuckin years I've been a fan of this band! I just love the lyrics to their songs! And it's so hard not to headbang while I listen to them! Much much love to In This Moment 👊
Ummmmmm yeah, nobody here has a chance with her, and posting certain things will not change that. 99% of us are here for her awesome music anyhow. The hotness is just icing on the cake.
I'm a latecomer to In This Moment; a co-worker introduced me to their music just last month (August 2023). She first suggested Whore and The In-Between, which I enjoyed. I decided to make some time to put on a playlist and it has taken me to their older stuff. In This Moment's older material reminds me of a Killswitch Engage style of melodic metal, which I LOVE. Even on my first listen, this song has instantly amazed me.
First time i heard this band live was shortly after there blood album was released, it was my last day of leave from military in kansas city missouri, one of the best shows I've ever been too and i do believe it was sold out......now next saturday ill have the opportunity to see them again but this time in norfolk virginia where I'm actually stationed and live at...soo freakin excited! I just hope they play this song this time as they didnt in kc. Nevertheless im pumped for next saturday.
Ive still got a shirt and an album from back when they were just coming up before this album dropped. Dont know how many times i saw em at Harpos in Detroit as the first band of the night...
I will always be a die heart In This Moment fan. But I really do miss their old sound. This sing was the one that made me start listening to them in the first place. They are amazing ❤ I love you Maria !
I agree, the new stuff sounds like corporate sterile garbage..no soul, all fluff. She's a fucking great singer ,tho. I wish the new stuff was better music, cuz her singing is getting better all the time.
I bought this CD on a whim without ever hearing the band. For some reason I picked it up because I was triggered by the front cover artwork. My first listen blew my mind! What luck to score one of my all favorite albums of all time. i have the their whole discography but "A Beautiful Tragedy" is still my fave. Rock on Maria, you sexy goddess.
I still remember watching these band live on the ozzfest it was amazing instantly felt in love with them and with her .can't wait to see them again live
Everything about this video and song is amazing, it brought tears to my eyes after listening to it for the first time in years. Thank you In This Moment!
The nostalgia of this song and so many other in this moment songs from listening to them in high school... the last decade give a few years has gone by too fast
Still ALIVE 2024

Silent night, let me sleep away these memories within
Sacrifices of purity are turning into sins
And this judgement day is growing near
And this confession is killing me again
This beautiful tragedy is crashing into me
This dying destiny
So now you lay yourself down in this grave with shattered eyes
Beautiful melodies to try and wash away the lies
And this judgement day is growing near
And this confession is killing me again
This beautiful tragedy is crashing into me
This dying destiny, take me away
This beautiful tragedy come crashing into me
This dying destiny
Will you be there?

This is the song that got me into “In This Moment” 15 years later and this song is still as good as when it came out. ❤
I love how she’s only gotten stronger, better, and wiser with time. Keep rocking Maria, you’re a role model to women everywhere ❤️
Still prefer this to what she is now, a marketing tool.

I meet Maria in New Lenox, IL. She is very down to earth and when talking with her you would never think she is the front woman of a band.
Sam Brentwood yeah she's the sweetest
My friend met her once and said the same thing!
I babysat her dog even the dog was obsessed with her
There really arent many songs like this. Powerfull, beautifull. I dont really have the words to describe the feeling this song gives me!
Amazing.
There's a lot of songs like this
Is it me or does she have a beautiful voice?
It is you.
Beautiful voice...
is it just me or does pual reed smith have gorgeous guitars?
She did back then. Not anymore.
He she it das s muss mit

Maria honestly has about the best vocal range of any female artist. So impressed till this day. Love this band and Maria!!
Vocal wise I think this is her best song, the tone is perfect and a great jam.
2024,,...whos still here ???,,,,,,,,,,,(they have sure captured a moment in time with this EPIC tune,,,so long ago)😮❤❤
I've loved this song since I first saw it on Headbangers Ball
such an underrated song. this is as good as anything thats ever been put out by anybody.
Hands down one of the best "Front-Woman" bands I've ever heard!! She has an amazing voice and her scream vocals are phenomenal!!
Yes, Maria is this band's not so secret weapon. The music is slightly above average metal, but Ms.Frink takes it to another level.
I saw them live in Mesa az in 2008/2009 Feel in love and have loved them ever since! They just keep getting better. So happy for their success

your dad was epic,im 57 and my dad played Merle Haggard for me,yeah i outgrew Merle
Your story moved me man, sometimes it takes tragedy and grieve to bond to people, you got something in return... Sending good vibes to you.

Good to see old school rockers around after all these year. Keep it alive...
15 now!
been a fan since about 2009/2010, and always will be!!
2023 and yet I find music from the 90's and early 2000's are still the best!! 🤘
Hearing this for the first time, really kickass song. She's a fantastic vocalist

nope
+Alberto Cruz Gonzalez Nope
I fuckin love listening to all their stuff
Nope because we're true fans.
Alberto Cruz Gonzalez I love all of their stuff. They're the best
saw these guys as soon as i walked into ozzfest 2007...THIS BAND IS BETTER LIVE! AMAZING!
It's been two day hardly I started listening them and I'm addicted to them.
They've really changed between then and now! I like both! I like the softer alt rock side and the metal side equally!
Corey White good point.
The last few times I went and saw them it is like the first two or three albums were never made. Just don't play them anymore and she plays dress up
Metal side is better new side sucks
Had to come watch this one again after watching Sanctify Me. What a journey!
Buen tema. In this moment de lo mejor del metal. María tiene una voz extraordinaria.

Thumbs up if you're listening in 2024
Saw them on this tour in Devore California in 2007. Still a banger. They were nothing then and look where they have been.

He was the most beautiful tragedy ever to occur in my life, I never wish to forget, no matter how much pain it brings back.
Wow she is beautiful outside and the inside. The voice is like an archangel. Glad my friend showed me this band. :)
2020 and still a beautiful quarantine....
There is so much more heart in their older stuff. Sad to see the music they are making now.
r_teezy15 Fighter. Perfect example of their new stuff having heart
just because a song is slow doesnt mean it has heart...
I agree, the new stuff sounds like corporate sterile garbage..no soul, all fluff.

She does. I've Been to see her live. What a show she puts on
Even after so many years, I listen to this masterpiece, Maria is great!😍
this is the era that got me into the band. i kind of wish they would go back to this melodic metalcore sound
Yup they lost me at the blood album, shame I had such expectations after star crossed, then blood went in a very different direction
I love all their stuff past and present. But I agree, I would love to hear some more songs from this style again. Here's to hoping.
En pleno 2018 sigo amando este tema!
