The General Course goes over what it takes to be a medical scribe and what is expected of you in the clinical environment. You’ll learn anatomy and physiology, medical abbreviations, and how to properly document a patient’s visit with the doctor. Clinical scribe training begins with our General course and additional specialty courses can be added to make a comprehensive training program.

The Medical Scribes Training Institute provides a variety of courses designed to help you succeed as a medical scribe in different specialties.
