Yes, there is a lot to know when just starting out as a scribe. Thank you for your comment.
Hey this is kinda random! I'm just starting out, d'you have any tips that might help me be a bit less confused? haha
@@quinn7722 Hi, yes! I do have some advice for scribes starting out. Definitely be prepared for a learning curve. It's not easy but scribing is definitely very rewarding. Some tips I could give are: 1) Learn the field of medicine that you're going into. If its urology, try to take notes and really listen well to doctor and patient encounters. Same idea for other fields of medicine. 2) Read the providers notes and study their style. To be a successful scribe, you need to learn your physician's way of transcribing notes. Listen to your trainer's advice of how the provider prefers their notes. 3) Use Google if you want to spellcheck or look up certain procedures, medications, etc; 4) Have fun and be patient with yourself. Learning takes time. Soon you'll be a pro! Just give it time! :)
good points.
