I remember they made it so that they reduced boss HP back to almost like their normal versions, but they have a "80 less damage taken" multiplier, i think they did it to combat some builds that deal % max HP damage, though I could be wrong.

I guess I'm saying that his comment's point is still somewhat valid in that you're going to be much more willing to take these risks with these items if you have 10x more free time than everyone else. I've gotten pretty far into HC SSF a few times but it took months of an hour or 2 a day, needless to say I didn't want to risk these boss fights until basically I felt "bored" or before the season ended.
