It honestly breaks my heart that Wheein has struggled so much. She is the one who really got me into Mamamoo. I remember watching their first weekly idol appearance and thinking “who is this girl? She’s hilarious and so pretty.” I just hope someday she’ll know how much we love her. Until then we’ll keep reminding her.
I’m not sure if Wheein will ever read the comments section on mamamoo channel, but all the comments from international kpop people (beside fans with her as their bias) were all screaming how underrated she is, and cornered it on how it’s a fact that even Wheein notices herself. All that makes me so sad and angry because it’s totally not true. She is very well-loved in the fandom and is the member within top 2 of having the most fan in korea and asia. Because of how she closed herself up after 2017, she doesn’t appear on shows thus not to well known to the international kpop people compared with the rest of mamamoo, plus Wheein is the type that doesn’t care for all that fame and popularity. She is too real, too humble and down to earth. I have never seen any celebrity using instagram like her, she doesn’t show off her fancy stuff or act all mighty, she is jus a girl next door material. I got into mamamoo late but like to dive into their past history, broke my heart cuz she used to have high ranking on girl group member values chart in 16 17 cuz she was doing all these music shows. I just want her to be at the top like she deserves and I don’t like how her company treated her among the members. Sure that they let them be free in everything but they don’t promote her well at all. Just because she has no intentions in doing live music shows doesn’t mean she didn’t need all that social media pushes from them. And what were they thinking, they want hwasa to promote internationally while the whole group doesn’t even have a world tour yet? I hope when they retire as a group, Wheein will move to a company that would promote solo artists well like that of Gummy’s. Wheein is just here to do music, not to sell anything!

sim san i actually got bashed on Twitter this one time i was saying how RBW needs to showcase our wheein more and some people jumped at me saying why would i wanna force wheein to do the things she said she doesn’t like? And I’m like bitches please, if wheein is really your idol, don’t you want the best for her? Parents nudge their children to be better all the times, and i think it’s a way to show that they care about you. The company doesn’t do any of that. Us fan supported her the most with album sales and stream songs even though not too much of the streaming but it’s her power. And the company didn’t even make enough albums for sale in the first week, not to mention the super light promotions 5 days before. Really, they can push all the other members as they want, I don’t care anymore. I can support wheein with all my worth!

Yeah I agree she's so humble and down to earth.. she's very kind and treat people nicely. And I agree her instagram is just show us how humble she is. She uses it to communicate with her friends and that's so cute. I was so happy on her birthday when she gave us a lot of surprises. she was having a hard time last year and I think she's getting so much better now. she's a shy and awkward person, and I'm so proud of her when she released her birthday special videos, her honey cover and her dance cover.. I agree her company didn't promote her enough, but I don't know maybe that's because wheein also didn't want to. We don't really know the situations and what actually happened. I heard that wheein is the one who often get sick and she often feel stressed and pressured especially when she's tired. So maybe that's why RBW didn't give her more works. She had a lot of collaboration offers but she often refuse it. She said that she was so nervous when she had to promote alone. She was really awkward and uncomfortable doing reality show like secret unnie. But idk, they could've given her singing shows or like being the judges or mentor or commentators or maybe she can do more drama ost.. there are a lot of options actually to promote her. Look at her when she was doing TV shows like duet song festival or masked singer. She always got high praise and positive feedbacks. They should encourage wheein to write more songs too.. idk, wheein said that she felt like the other members did a great job already writing lyrics and composing songs, so she didn't do it. she's not confident showing her works to other people. But I know she has a lot of potential and RBW should push her, encourage her and motivate her to do more.. look at Moderato.. that song is Great.. I'm sorry to say this, but I personally think moomoos sometimes didn't gave her enough attention and promotions(?) Like on her birthday, I saw some fan pages wasn't really hyped and promote her enough.. yeah I know wheein birthday hashtags were trending.. but her videos didn't get much views and her instagram didn't have many followers. Idk I just feel the hype and the excitement wasn't as great as when they were promoting the other members eventhough I love the other members too and happy when they are doing great.. I wish wheein is healthier now physically and mentally, so she can be happier, more productive, positive, motivated, and she can achieve all of her goals. I wish she continues to love herself, comfortable on her own skin, not being too hard on herself, doesn't feel burdened to please everybody. I hope she believes on herself more, believes that she can achieve more and reach higher. Because I know she totally can.
maximcute33 i think Wheein originally enjoyed performing and singing when they just debuted, and it clearly showed. All the shows that she joined with mamamoo, she usually got lots of screen time because of how exciting her reactions and expressions were, as she is indeed a person with great sense of humor. I think it was after that era that she felt all the burden and pressure, probably from netizens, and since she is one sensitive soul, it hits her hard. I think the company now just let her do whatever she wants, without helping her regain her self confidence to show us all she got. That’s a type of neglecting in my opinion. They kinda treated her lightly by just let her be. The division in the group is so clear now, everything is hwasa and solar, moonbyul is outgoing and confident so she is okay. My Wheein is just there, inside her bubble. Because of this the fandom got divided (mainly us-eu who pay less attention to her), but I’m super happy her china fanbase is very strong and love her dearly, also her korean and southeast asian ones too. Her instagram growth saddens me too also when there’s this drama about a famous twitter account who said that wheein is their bias but didn’t officially promote her instagram account to the many followers that she got while she promoted all the other insta and UA-cam regularly. But wheein hasn’t been in public since January so it’s fine, I don’t think she cares. I’m actually the one who feel sad for number gap between the member and often wondering if Wheein feels that she is loved less. For youtube video of her birthday i think it’s doing good in terms of views, just compared to the content when moonbyul stuffs were released, i think it’s doing much better. Sorry to say this but all this have made me a solo wheein stan, she has my full love and attention, for the others I don’t like them but I don’t hate them too.
My god. Wheein deserves all the love in the world. I don't know why but one day one thought hit me, 'I need to know her deeply'. I'm not into mamamoo that time but I got interested to join the fandom because of her. She said that she was the last memeber to gain people's attention but she had me all focused on her by just watching one of their mv's for the first time! I noticed how playfull, loud, and funny she was after watching other videos about mmm and I already know that there is something behind her smile. Funny persons are sometimes the most emotional and deep minded. And I should know because Wheein and I have the same personality and experience, maybe that's the reason why I got interested in her. It's so hard to be carried by sadness and depression and when there are times that you'll end up thinking that you're still alone it will just dug deep through you and drags you down even more. That's why Wheein needs people around her to make her feel special and to help her fight for every sadness and negative thoughts that comes through her. Because that's what she's looking for. Being a kpop fan as what other people say is to show support by attending their concerts and buying all of their albums and I'm honestly saying that I'm not an active fan like that but sometimes, some idols needs more comfort from the true fans that are always believing and giving their support no matterwhat happens. Kpop industry is getting more scarier everyday, and idols are humans too. I think they will just choose to be loved by those who support them silently but true enough to understand and to accept whatever they have been through than to receive support to people (not genetally) that will eventually leave and critisize them when they found out something about their idol that they don't like. I think mamamoo is the most talented and kindest idols that I know and I'm very proud to be one of moomoos. Finally! And Wheein, I hope she will stop stressing herself to fit in the 'standard beauty' that those morons are talking about because her talent and kindness already brings out the standard beauty within her. 20 years of living on this world but I've been betrayed and left behind quite a lot that I became indifferent to people around me sometimes. I really thought this was a bad thing because I hardly can be moved by heartwarming things nowadays without doubting about it. But Wheein made it for me. She melted me with her talents, her personality, and most of all, her concerns. I can feel them so well, and because it's Wheein, my tears just drop without me knowing. I think this girl has taken over my heart, truly.
To be honest, I find her beautiful. Though she doesn't have extremely capturing features, she has that subtle natural beauty that grows on you. Her voice is simply soothing and angelic. I just saw this and I really want to share my thoughts. I wasn't a kpop fan before, but then I got into boy band groups such as BTS and NCT. I never knew I would be interested in girl groups since I always have this image of what girl groups looks like. It wasn't until I knew Mamamoo that I realized I was wrong, very wrong. I started to like them, unlike the other groups I stan, I can feel the personal connection with them. Each one of the 4 members have such unique pasts and stories and I am just so grateful that they are willing to share it with us despite knowing that they will get negative feedbacks and judgements. This made me cry. I consider myself as an introvert and I struggle mentally as well because of mental abuse I had experienced in my childhood. It was a hard time for me to recover, and even now, I cannot say I fully recovered yet. It is very hard to find idols these days that talk with you about their own struggles as well. A lot of time, they only care about their own glorious and famous spotlight but Wheein hits different, all members hit different, Mamamoo hits different. I can somehow feel Wheein's struggle and pain through this video. This really made me want to hug her because she made me laugh so many times before. Seeing such a talented person not being recognized as much as she should be really frustrates me. She needs more recognition. She needs more support. She deserves so much more. Let's make her be the person she wants and should be. Let's cheer for her and protect her. Let's be one and be her last support line if needed.❤
I cried. I wasn't even half of it but I already cried. I never felt this strong empathy to any other kpop group, only mamamoo made me feel this emotions. I feel like Wheein needs someone to sleep with her because she feels protected and safe when she sleeps with someone next to her. I got into Mamamoo through watching Hip and falling in love with Moonbyul. I feel bad that it took so long for me to finally explore the other members in depth. My focus went to the 3 extremely powerful characters that was in the group (not saying that Wheein's image isn't powerful, it was just less distinct than the others for me). Solar the leader who's a power vocal who took a ton of auditions and faced dozens of rejections but finally got recognized in the end. Who never knew how to be an Unnie to her other members because she was the youngest in her family. She didn't know how to correct and Express herself to her members in the beginning but she grew over time and proudly attained her status as the mother of mamamoo. She breaks kpop beauty standards and barriers by always challenging herself and the world. Bald solar, ripping off her shirt solar, all the solars. She now knows who she is and shows it off too, she's passionate, hard working and focused. Moonbyul, a powerful deep voiced rapper and vocalist with crazy popping/dance moves and greasy charms. She who was forced to become a rapper after being trained to be a vocal, but after a while she became more confident in her voice and has released multiple songs under her name where she shows off her vocals. The love that she shows for her other members is so clear. She also is herself so unapologetically, trying styles of dancing and themes that she actually wants to perform (more "boyish" and not the usual kpop girl key range).
Hwasa, of course she's well known to be incredible. I think she's the most well known out of them all. Criticized because of her weight, looks, and skin colour even as a kid. She proved all of those haters wrong and worked so hard to become who she is now. Although being the maknae, hwasa never acts like she's fitting into the stereotypical maknae of kpop. She's passionate, headstrong, and does what she desires. Her roots as a farmers daughter shines through when she interacts with people, she is kind and so well mannered. And Wheein... I never paid that much attention to her at the beginning as I've said before. But she might have gone through one of hardest times. As it seems that she doesn't talk to people about her problems and just keeps to herself most times. She has a pessimistic attitude which ends up hurting herself and it's so heartbreaking to me. She grew up with her grandma who passed away and her dad used her to make money and created this whole scandal about her. she's gone through so much and really knows what pain is, which is why she's always smiling in most performances and backstage videos, being the pupwheein of mamamoo. Damn never in my life did I think I would care this much about a Kpop group or any famous person that I've never even met. I love these girls so much and I'm proud of who they are and what they went through to be here.
Thank you for making this video. Maybe if more people saw this they'd understand why she's my ultimate bias. Aside from how freaking talented she is, she's relatable. She's been through so much and she still chooses to be kind and to bring happiness to the people around her, even if she's feeling like sh*t inside...and this is so brave and inspiring. She makes me want to be a better version of myself and whenever I feel sad or down, I put on any of Wheein's livestreams or any content with Wheein in it and I can immediately start to feel better. She makes feel like everything's going to be ok, that if I just hang in there, eventually, things will start to look up. I cried watching this, both sad and happy tears and I'm just happy there are people out there who see her and appreciate her for who she is, because she deserves the entire universe if that's what she wants/needs.
Wheein is literally so down to earth and is so good at connecting to my feelings which make her even more irresistible and compelling. I truly appreciate her as a person and as an artist. While the other members have their charms and lovable traits, she is the one who i connect with the most and to me makes her all the more reachable as a real person, like the rest of us, as if she was our best friend. I would love if Wheein released more of her moody and emotional side into her solo projects, instead of acting happy all the time. Because what makes Mamamoo special is that each girl has her own "thing" that makes them stand out. Moon and her androgyny. Solar and her acrobatics. Hwasa and her sexiness. What makes Wheein special to ME, is the fact that she's genuinely talented in every way, and doesn't NEED a gimmick. I love coming back to this video, it really shows Wheein's deep emotions that some videos don't show. I have this sense of needing to protect Wheein, she's sensitive, she's an amazing human being that I have gotten to know. Before I got into Mamamoo I knew Hwasa and Solar the most due to I live Alone and We got Married but I loved their songs and watched some compilation videos to understand these artist's and off the bat Wheein caught my attention, within and outside the group she showed different sides and I literally love her as an artist she was the reason I am head over heels for Mamamoo. I hope Wheein knows that even tho ppl tell her she won't catch any attention or seem important she is enough. She is such a beautiful person with soo much talent. Everything hit the spot, I didnt sleep alone until maybe 12 so even now when I am 22 I cannot sleep properly when I am alone but i cant always bother people to sleep next to me so i just lay awake. It honestly breaks my heart that Wheein has struggled so much. She is the one who really got me into Mamamoo. I remember watching their first weekly idol appearance and thinking “who is this girl? She’s hilarious and so pretty.” I just hope someday she’ll know how much we love her. Until then we’ll keep reminding her.
I’m not sure if Wheein will ever read the comments section on mamamoo channel, but all the comments from international kpop people (beside fans with her as their bias) were all screaming how underrated she is, and cornered it on how it’s a fact that even Wheein notices herself. All that makes me so sad and angry because it’s totally not true. She is very well-loved in the fandom and is the member within top 2 of having the most fan in korea and asia. Because of how she closed herself up after 2017, she doesn’t appear on shows thus not to well known to the international kpop people compared with the rest of mamamoo, plus Wheein is the type that doesn’t care for all that fame and popularity. She is too real, too humble and down to earth. I have never seen any celebrity using instagram like her, she doesn’t show off her fancy stuff or act all mighty, she is jus a girl next door material. I got into mamamoo late but like to dive into their past history, broke my heart cuz she used to have high ranking on girl group member values chart in 16 17 cuz she was doing all these music shows. I just want her to be at the top like she deserves and I don’t like how her company treated her among the members. Sure that they let them be free in everything but they don’t promote her well at all. Just because she has no intentions in doing live music shows doesn’t mean she didn’t need all that social media pushes from them. And what were they thinking, they want hwasa to promote internationally while the whole group doesn’t even have a world tour yet? I hope when they retire as a group, Wheein will move to a company that would promote solo artists well like that of Gummy’s. Wheein is just here to do music, not to sell anything!

And I’m like bitches please, if wheein is really your idol, don’t you want the best for her? Parents nudge their children to be better all the times, and i think it’s a way to show that they care about you. The company doesn’t do any of that. Us fan supported her the most with album sales and stream songs even though not too much of the streaming but it’s her power. maximcute33 i think Wheein originally enjoyed performing and singing when they just debuted, and it clearly showed. All the shows that she joined with mamamoo, she usually got lots of screen time because of how exciting her reactions and expressions were, as she is indeed a person with great sense of humor. I think it was after that era that she felt all the burden and pressure, probably from netizens, and since she is one sensitive soul, it hits her hard. I think the company now just let her do whatever she wants, without helping her regain her self confidence to show us all she got. That’s a type of neglecting in my opinion. They kinda treated her lightly by just let her be. The division in the group is so clear now, everything is hwasa and solar, moonbyul is outgoing and confident so she is okay. My Wheein is just there, inside her bubble. Because of this the fandom got divided (mainly us-eu who pay less attention to her), but I’m super happy her china fanbase is very strong and love her dearly, also her korean and southeast asian ones too. Her instagram growth saddens me too also when there’s this drama about a famous twitter account who said that wheein is their bias but didn’t officially promote her instagram account to the many followers that she got while she promoted all the other insta and UA-cam regularly. But wheein hasn’t been in public since January so it’s fine, I don’t think she cares. I’m actually the one who feel sad for number gap between the member and often wondering if Wheein feels that she is loved less. For youtube video of her birthday i think it’s doing good in terms of views, just compared to the content when moonbyul stuffs were released, i think it’s doing much better. Sorry to say this but all this have made me a solo wheein stan, she has my full love and attention, for the others I don’t like them but I don’t hate them too.
My god. Wheein deserves all the love in the world. I don't know why but one day one thought hit me, 'I need to know her deeply'. I'm not into mamamoo that time but I got interested to join the fandom because of her. She said that she was the last memeber to gain people's attention but she had me all focused on her by just watching one of their mv's for the first time! I noticed how playfull, loud, and funny she was after watching other videos about mmm and I already know that there is something behind her smile. Funny persons are sometimes the most emotional and deep minded. And I should know because Wheein and I have the same personality and experience, maybe that's the reason why I got interested in her. It's so hard to be carried by sadness and depression and when there are times that you'll end up thinking that you're still alone it will just dug deep through you and drags you down even more. That's why Wheein needs people around her to make her feel special and to help her fight for every sadness and negative thoughts that comes through her. Because that's what she's looking for. Being a kpop fan as what other people say is to show support by attending their concerts and buying all of their albums and I'm honestly saying that I'm not an active fan like that but sometimes, some idols needs more comfort from the true fans that are always believing and giving their support no matterwhat happens. Kpop industry is getting more scarier everyday, and idols are humans too. I think they will just choose to be loved by those who support them silently but true enough to understand and to accept whatever they have been through than to receive support to people (not genetally) that will eventually leave and critisize them when they found out something about their idol that they don't like. I think mamamoo is the most talented and kindest idols that I know and I'm very proud to be one of moomoos. Finally! I just saw this and I really want to share my thoughts. I wasn't a kpop fan before, but then I got into boy band groups such as BTS and NCT. I never knew I would be interested in girl groups since I always have this image of what girl groups looks like. It wasn't until I knew Mamamoo that I realized I was wrong, very wrong. I started to like them, unlike the other groups I stan, I can feel the personal connection with them. Each one of the 4 members have such unique pasts and stories and I am just so grateful that they are willing to share it with us despite knowing that they will get negative feedbacks and judgements. This made me cry. I consider myself as an introvert and I struggle mentally as well because of mental abuse I had experienced in my childhood. It was a hard time for me to recover, and even now, I cannot say I fully recovered yet. It is very hard to find idols these days that talk with you about their own struggles as well. A lot of time, they only care about their own glorious and famous spotlight but Wheein hits different, all members hit different, Mamamoo hits different. I can somehow feel Wheein's struggle and pain through this video. This really made me want to hug her because she made me laugh so many times before. Seeing such a talented person not being recognized as much as she should be really frustrates me. She needs more recognition. She needs more support. She deserves so much more. Let's make her be the person she wants and should be. Let's cheer for her and protect her. Let's be one and be her last support line if needed.❤

I got into Mamamoo through watching Hip and falling in love with Moonbyul. I feel bad that it took so long for me to finally explore the other members in depth. My focus went to the 3 extremely powerful characters that was in the group (not saying that Wheein's image isn't powerful, it was just less distinct than the others for me).
Solar the leader who's a power vocal who took a ton of auditions and faced dozens of rejections but finally got recognized in the end. Who never knew how to be an Unnie to her other members because she was the youngest in her family. She didn't know how to correct and Express herself to her members in the beginning but she grew over time and proudly attained her status as the mother of mamamoo. She breaks kpop beauty standards and barriers by always challenging herself and the world. Bald solar, ripping off her shirt solar, all the solars. She now knows who she is and shows it off too, she's passionate, hard working and focused.
Moonbyul, a powerful deep voiced rapper and vocalist with crazy popping/dance moves and greasy charms. She who was forced to become a rapper after being trained to be a vocal, but after a while she became more confident in her voice and has released multiple songs under her name where she shows off her vocals. The love that she shows for her other members is so clear. She also is herself so unapologetically, trying styles of dancing and themes that she actually wants to perform (more "boyish" and not the usual kpop girl key range).
Hwasa, of course she's well known to be incredible. I think she's the most well known out of them all. Criticized because of her weight, looks, and skin colour even as a kid. She proved all of those haters wrong and worked so hard to become who she is now. Although being the maknae, hwasa never acts like she's fitting into the stereotypical maknae of kpop. She's passionate, headstrong, and does what she desires. Her roots as a farmers daughter shines through when she interacts with people, she is kind and so well mannered.
And Wheein... I never paid that much attention to her at the beginning as I've said before. But she might have gone through one of hardest times. As it seems that she doesn't talk to people about her problems and just keeps to herself most times. She has a pessimistic attitude which ends up hurting herself and it's so heartbreaking to me. She grew up with her grandma who passed away and her dad used her to make money and created this whole scandal about her. she's gone through so much and really knows what pain is, which is why she's always smiling in most performances and backstage videos, being the pupwheein of mamamoo.
Damn never in my life did I think I would care this much about a Kpop group or any famous person that I've never even met.
I love these girls so much and I'm proud of who they are and what they went through to be here.
Thank you for making this video. Maybe if more people saw this they'd understand why she's my ultimate bias. Aside from how freaking talented she is, she's relatable. She's been through so much and she still chooses to be kind and to bring happiness to the people around her, even if she's feeling like sh*t inside...and this is so brave and inspiring. She makes me want to be a better version of myself and whenever I feel sad or down, I put on any of Wheein's livestreams or any content with Wheein in it and I can immediately start to feel better. She makes feel like everything's going to be ok, that if I just hang in there, eventually, things will start to look up.

Before I got into Mamamoo I knew Hwasa and Solar the most due to I live Alone and We got Married but I loved their songs and watched some compilation videos to understand these artist's and off the bat Wheein caught my attention, within and outside the group she showed different sides and I literally love her as an artist she was the reason I am head over heels for Mamamoo. I hope Wheein knows that even tho ppl tell her she won't catch any attention or seem important she is enough. She is such a beautiful person with soo much talent. She is literally my role model, all of them are. I hope she knows that she is important and loved by so many💜💜💜

i actually love this kind of video. i love it when kpop idols or artists become vulnerable. it makes them more relatable to the audience. makes them more human. fans should know their limit. just because the artist's life is out in the open, they can trample it or throw hate on them so easily, that's why i wish artists would open up more

Wheein captured my heart first and she became my bias in mamamoo eversince. When I saw and heard mamamoo for the first time it was her who I liked the most. I love her so much.

The more I watched the video the more my heart hurts. Everything hit the spot, I didnt sleep alone until maybe 12 so even now when I am 22 I cannot sleep properly when I am alone but i cant always bother people to sleep next to me so i just lay awake. I hate telling people my problem in a serious manner bc i think they wont understand as well. I dont have experience with idol stuff like that but i guess it applies to my life experience, I feel like when I meet people while a lot of my friends are warm to the touch (people get close to them right away) Many need a few moments to warm up to me bc i dont connect to people unless we have a deep conversation. No wonder she is my bias.

New to mamamoo and i noticed wheein immediately. She’s my bias. 😊 she just transforms when she sings vs when she dances/performs. you can see her moves are precise and sharp. And i know she can bring out more of it. I was also surprised she’s so multi talented. 😅 i get her a lot on the partnthat she has few close friends, as an introvert, we prefer quality over quantity. And there’s nothing wrong with that. 😊
