Took my 950 out on the trails this weekend. I had to remind myself to keep it in Low gear for the times speeds were under 25 mph. It's opposite of my Polaris Sportsman that wants to be in high gear except with mudding/rock crawling.
Blake I just put 29.5 outlaw 2s on 14” msa wheels and the snorkel kit you put on yours. It feels a touch sluggish is 4x4 up to dash in sc mud. Will the stage 1 kit you have work well or just a reclock?
Hey Chad! I would go with atleast the Stage 2 kit.. with them Outlaw 2s i actually might would say try to get the msc stage 3 kit especially if you plan to do a lot of mud riding
So can I buy the stage 3 kit for less than buying all three kits just to use the third kit? Can I get a kit with the stage 1 rollers, stage 2 spring and stage 3 helix in 1 kit?
I have a 2020 cforce 500 and saw a vid on your clutch kit for the 500 what stage clutch kit would you recommend for mine and installing it in my driveway thanks

Great video. How is the ride quality overall? For 11 inch of travel it seems like it has way more. Reason I'm asking my wife doesn't want a choppy ride through the rough.
It definitely feels way more than 11.. im not sure how they measure their travel.. need to measure the travel on it like Polaris measures their travel numbers haha

with the new clutch kit... what was your top speed before and what is it now.... I understand the purpose was to turn get lower torque by the sounds of it.... just wondering what you lost on the top
71mph according to GPS with stock tires and stock clutch.. since I got the clutch kit I have the 32s on it and have just got out on the road and held it wide open.. but it definitely flies.. and if its like the atvs.. it doesn't affect the top speed in a negative or positive way. Stayed the same

Is the point of a clutch kit to run bigger tires or performance? I notice a lag in the time I start pushing on the gas to the. Actual movement. Will this help? How much does this run for install /labor?
Its around $200 for instal and labor i think.. dont quote me on that. And yes its got multiple benefits.. better engagement with throttle input and the ability to more efficiently run heavier than stock tires

The cvt sound when going down hills i think is where you hear it most. But i have owned a canam maverick and defender and a polaris ranger and sportsman and they all have that noise but it is more prevelant on the CFMOTO s when going down a hill and your free wheeling
We have improved our Clutch kits a lot since this vide.. now instead of clocking to B3 with your OEM spring and taking some of the travel out of the OEM spring, we now have a aftermarket secondary spring that has the same tension in B1 as an OEM spring in B3. But it has its full range of motion and is also longer lasting and does not lose its spring tension and handles heat better

Whats the engagement rpm with the kit, stock mine is like 27 or 2800, it's harsh on rocky technical trails, pain trying to inch it on the trailer.

For sure once water is touching the bottom of your seat mount your too deep. With the stock cvt outlet location

Yes there is clutch kits for yours but there on back order.. and since you are in Canada you will have to order straight from Airdam Clutches.

I love that new zforce but just can't get past that whine the drivetrain on cfmotos make. Makes the same noise as a kids powerwheels.
