- This is a gem that I found in my archives just recently. I wasn't aware that I had a higher quality version of this loop than I had already posted, but here it is! The cable feed in the room where this was captured was really clean, and the result is the highest quality version of this Resort TV Loop on UA-cam. I hope you enjoy it!

I think 11-year-old me would've been perfectly content sitting in the air-conditioned hotel room watching this and The Weather Channel over and over all day.
Mannnnnnn.. take me back!!!! While we were on vacation, I’d wait for everyone to wake up while watching this every morning. I’m 31 now and I get to take my family on their first Disney trip this year. Hopefully my kids will have the same fond memories that I have.
The good times i had at Disney are nothing but a memory with everything Disney is going through nowadays. I miss the good times. 😢 :(

It's been 21 years since I visited Disney World when I was 10 years old and I remember this video.
Jan 1, 2001 was the start of the best Disney vacation of my life (of hundreds).

2003 was my first trip to Disney World and this is what played on the tv. Oddly enough we weren’t staying on property. But the “Zip a Dee Doo Da” tune lives rent free in my head to this day

This was on loop at the hotel we stayed at -- the Homewood Suites on International Drive!
We went to WDW in May 2001 and man, I remember this well- the claymation and the Zip-i-dee-doo-dah Tip of the Day jingle

Those fun Paper Crafts segments and that upbeat music "It's a Zip-a-dee-doo-dah! Tip for Today!" hits my Nostalgia bone so much. When I think of the times I had the luxury of staying at a Disney Resort this is apart of my memories. The Resort TV being the default station on the TVs playing as you enter the room for the first time as part of the warm welcome or simply checking out the weather or tips in the morning when you turn on the TV.
I also have fond nostalgia memories of 2005's May-December the Top 7 Must Sees playing at the bus stations back when I was a CP CM at DTD during that time and the La Nouba commercial.
Absolutely! I loved the paper craft segments, especially the Cinderella castle. I remember trying to catch that one over and over trying to see how they made the castle!
Supposedly this video would be displayed at every hotel in the Orlando area and I can tell I saw this video during my lengthy stay at resort / timeshare /rental property in 2001 to 2004 (when hurricane Charlie almost destroyed the apartment resort I used to live!). What a 🎶Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah!🎶

When I was a child in age 9 at Polynesian resort, I still remember watching this, I never knew & seen Star Wars ride in Disney before, I was so surprised they have it there.
Man, I feel so old after rewatching this.
I remember loving this promo so much!! It gets me excited to actually go into these parks every time I see it back in the day. I also love the music used in this. And I always wanted to know each track. (I know Illuminations from Epcot)

Not necessarily, people have been recording these for a while because there’s so much Disney nostalgia. For example I used to own a copy on a DVD that I bought off eBay many years ago.
From the title and description, I guess the uploader packed a DVR-like device with them to the resort and use that to capture the feed directly from the TV cable inside each room.

Why couldn't disneyland back in the day have been THIS comprehensive: I mean this loop not only shows the parks, but the arcade games on Disney quest, the clubbing experiences, water parks, golf courses and sports experiences. They've basically covered everything someone could possibly like and disneyland just feels like a cut down version of this.

ResortTV1 and I just found out you have the channel for almost every year, ugh right in my childhood. I used to get to the hotel and immediately put this on, my family thought I was nuts.

This brings back memories of my young adult years when I was in college. I would always love touring the walt Disney world resort during the summer break.
Ah, this brings me so many memories. This is by far the best WDW Resort TV show in my opinion- so much better than the one today with Stacy (I think that's her name). That one is just meh. I know it's way outdated, but I still miss the old version so much!

+ResortTV1 Yep, slight difference from the lower quality one. That one doesn't have the 4 of the hosts, just the guy in the yellow shirt.
I dunno if it's before or after the 2001. I believe the lower quality one you have is a 2002 one since it doesn't talk about the 100 years of Walt Disney celebration.
That may be true. I'm not sure how accurate I was about labeling the years on these. I didn't notice the thing about the four hosts earlier, but you're right.
+ResortTV1 Yeah, 2001 has the four of them, 2002 just has the one guy.
Again, I was like 17 and 18 those years and didn't stay on Disney Property when we went down those years. (We didn't start staying on Disney Property until Pop Century opened up in 2003.)
I did remember seeing SOME of one of them, again, it's been 15 years. - I believe it was the one with the single host.
+Fury283 It's all a little fuzzy for me too! I didn't think I had 2002, but that's cool if I do. What I really miss is the "Your Next Disney Vacation Channel" from around the years 2000 and 2001.
This was my favorite of the promos. Hope they change it to something more like this soon!

I put this on today solely for the reason of hearing the Splash Mountain bit, because I'm feeling a bit melancholy about the whole situation.
A wonderful piece of Disney history. You can't experience half of these things now..gone. Yes the new Disney execs are bent on turning Walt's dream into a vacation nightmare. Hold on to your wallet and be prepared to stand in line...long long line and remember the magic.

This would be River Country's final year of operations. The tourism crash in the wake of 9/11 ensured that the park would be unable to reach the capacity needed to justify operation costs.
Someone should recreate this for the current attractions.
