Corie, I'm 70 and I certainly appreciate your sharing some wonderful thoughts that your Grandma left you. God had you be born for such a time as this - to share your insight of God and His Word with others. I am touched by your sensitivity to God's spirit. Much love to you.

I had such a bond with my Grandma Bessie. We lived right next door to her and she taught me so much. She would sit me under the big oak tree and braid my hair every morning. We'd spend evenings on the porch, looking for a cool breeze or a storm as we snapped our green beans. There will never be another like your Grandma. Your family reminds me so much of mine. My condolences and thank you for being fragile and sharing your journey.

One of the things that I have always thought was that those who have had to see their grandparents pass away are very fortunate and blessed. ...because it means that they were fortunate enough to know their grandparents. Those who never knew their grandparents, were less fortunate. Some folks get to know (remember) their great grand-parents and they are even more blessed. Regardless of whether we knew our ancestors (or not) we can appreciate that each and every one of them was responsible for our existence.

Corie, what a sweet video about what you learned from Miss Cindy. Grandmothers are a blessing to us. I learned so many good things from both of mine. Yes, there is such a thing as a Highly Sensitive Person. It's not a disorder or syndrome, but a trait. The book by Elaine Aron brought it to my attention years ago. Greetings from Saltville Virginia. 🇺🇸 I’m 55 years old and my wife is 35 years old. My wife’s mom and my wife’s memaw have both passed but my wife’s great grandma is 99 years old and still going strong. I’ve begged my wife to learn things from her but she don’t never talk to her unless she has to. My point is… Learn from the old folks as much as you can because they’ll be gone someday and then it’s too late. The internet can’t teach you everything and that’s a fact.

A therapist once taught me to replace each negative thought with a positive thought. At the time, during my low self-esteem younger days, I thought that was the silliest thing I’d ever heard. But I started practicing it. I think the most difficult thing is learning to listen to the voice in our head. We have to practice paying attention to our thought processes in this crazy busy world. We DO have control over our thoughts and what we allow ourselves to get tangled up with. NOT paying attention to our thoughts allows the devil himself to get his foot in the door. Learning to intentionally quiet our busy minds allows the voice of the Holy Spirit to be heard loud and clear. Practice choosing peace over the chaos of this world ❤ my deepest sympathy for your loss.

I lost my granny to lung cancer when I was pregnant with my first baby. We had a lot longer with her after her diagnosis as they caught it semi- early. But no time can prepare you for a loss so huge. It was the biggest loss I ever experienced to this day, and not a day goes by I don think about her. I know the way you're feeling right now, but what a hope we have in Jesus! We will both see our grannies again ❤️ thank you for a lovely video!

Your Grandmother seemed like such a sweet lady. Thank for making this. I was a bit scared for your safety to be honest with all the gun shots I kept hearing.

I love the fact you and your sister love Jesus. From all I have heard do did your grandma.
Remember, you have not said good by. Only, I will see you later. Yes, the death of a loved one is tough. Take joy in knowing your time apart is only temporary. As Christians, we have faith, hope, and the blessed assurances of being together again. And, the sadness you feel now will one day be a joy you cannot imagine. Praise God for a savior who has taken away all the sadness and pain for ever. As your grandma said, You have the choice , your choice, to know and look forward to the beautiful reunion.
Hang in there, things are looking up with each passing day. Think of her best loved hymn and sing it for us. That will help everyone grieving. Especially you.
    In Christ name, bless you.

My mom was a lady much like Miss Cindy. Incredible strength from hard circumstances, and she overcame everything that came her way. She left me with the knowledge that you can run your life, or you can let it run you. We don’t have to be defined by the past, every day is brand new with the love of Jesus, and we can do all things with the strength of Christ on our side. God bless you for sharing this message today, and for continuing to share and fellowship with us. ❤

I lost my grandmother a very long time ago. I still remember that day as if it just happened. I just recently lost my mama. Love hard. Respect hard. Pray hard. Keep putting one foot in front of the other.

Corie, you just continue to inspire & amaze me. I used to tell my son & grandson that they had a choice to have a good day or a bad day when they would complain about something going on at school or in life. God did give us the power of free will & it's up to us to decide how we use it. Since my hubby fell & suffered a severe spinal cord injury along with a broken neck last Nov 1st & I have been disabled for 23 yrs due to physical problems and now am suffering from spinal fractures due to brittle, weak bones & trying to care for hubby when he was able to be home, my being able to practice that myself has been very difficult. Hubby, of course, suffers from not having the use of his left arm, he's incontinent in both areas and is weak. He's once again in the hospital and will be transferred to a skilled nursing facility when he is able. I suffer with immense pain in my spine and legs now, am in a back brace when not in bed & am not to do much of anything. Well, as life would have it, I fell backwards this past Sunday in the kitchen even tho I was using my walker! I fell very hard in front of my hutch and just had to sit in the floor, leaning back on the hutch cause the pain was so bad. This was at 8am. It took me til 9:30am to manage to get myself up and get back to my bedroom. This was one time I didn't take my cellphone with me so wasn't able to call my son for help! My sister had taken me to visit hubby the day before but always gets a wheelchair for me since I'm not able to walk very far with my walker. Haven't been able to visit him since. Hubby turned 66 in June, I'll be 65 in Sept. Life has been turned completely upside down for us! I was hospitalized for almost 2 weeks after suffering a 2nd spinal fracture and our son had to miss a lot of work to stay home to care for his dad. Thank God we were able to help him a little to catch up on his bills. When I wake up, I thank God for a brand new day to live & serve him. I thank God for all He's brought both of us thru. Hubby has even grown closer to God since his fall and I even thank God for that! We both are struggling, but thru our struggles we both see how far God has brought us & all the many blessings He has given us! The Bible tells us to praise God thru ALL things! Sometimes that's hard to do because we're human, but we can make the choice to let it get us down or we can remember all God's grace and mercy bestowed upon us and get thru it with His help. God & prayers is what has got us this far! It would be so easy to give up, but we won't because we know God has a plan for us and things will happen in His time! You & Katie are such precious young women. This world needs more people like y'all. I know y'all probably have hundreds of folks y'all pray for, but I would greatly appreciate it if you could add us to your prayer list. Y'all have begun to feel like family & I've been watching y'all and y'alls mom for awhile now. Y'all are very special people and I pray God richly blesses all y'all! Much love from VA! 🙏
