Keep in mind all comparison videos for sound are dependent on the quality of the microphone and more. That said, I am really impressed with the change the Active Autowerke equal length midpipe brings to my G87 M2. This is very positive change for a deeper more aggressive sound for the car over stock.

Great comparison, this sounds fantastic and I also enjoyed the install video, thank you for sharing! I would love to see some footage of the interior sound as well while driving just to get an idea of the tone from the driver's seat. I believe on the F8X platform they had a resonated and non-resonated version of the equal length mid-pipe. This one for the G87 looks like it's non-resonated only, have you noticed any rasp or buzzing from it?
No rasp and only non resonated, unlike my F87 where I compared them all. Exhaust back box install and comparison coming soon!
How much louder is it inside? Loud enough that you can turn off the ADM and hear your exhaust?
I dont have sound measurements of the difference but there definitely is some. In efficient mode its only slightly louder, though noticable at cold start. Sport mode/flaps open (especially with a Dahler flap controller) its much more noticeable, lower, deeper and louder with more pronounced burbles.
Sounds awesome, do you think it will get the attention of the cops at full throttle? Have you heard the Dinan X pipe?
Hard to say about LEO.. but it's not obnoxiously loud especially in comparison to some setups. Little bit louder, little bit deeper, and more pronounced burble.. its perfect. I haven't heard the Dinan yet.
That is a pretty significant difference - sounds mean n nasty! Did removing the resonators add any drone?
No.. start up is definitely louder but no drone
