- BMW M2 Competition (F87) Exhaust Compilation - Active Autowerke Equal Length Resonated Midpipe with Valved Rear Section and Stock Downpipes
This compilation includes revving while stationary (efficient and sport), acceleration runs (efficient and sport), a warm-ish start, and a cold start with the warm up cycle. Exhaust burbles have been coded off. All recordings are from an iPhone X.
Thanks to Active Autowerke for making a fantastic product to really transform the exhaust sound of the S55.
Special thanks to Auto Talent in Gardena, CA for their superb customer service and workmanship. - Авто та транспорт
Wow, finally sounds like a classic straight six. Which is one of the best sounding cyl configs out there. I love the lack of farty burbles everywhere too, might have to look into that myself
Yes, this is how every S55 car should sound. Smooth deep and aggressive tone. Not raspy, not just loud as hell with no tone. And thank you for not adding in the fake popcorn sound track. Sounds like a real performance car now and not a bmw pretending to be a clapped out civic.
This is an S58 engine car
@@leonbeckmann7492 so ure saying this is the worlds first S58 swapped F87?
weird, considering the sound doesnt even remotely seem similar to the S58 you can find in the G80 ;)
This is by far the best sounding F series car that I’ve heard
Best sounding M2C i've heard! I want this exact setup!
Now this is the business, proper straight 6 sounding. Awesome!!
Good sound best F Series M2/3 I have heard
Sounds good and I love how the pipes look!
thank you for no burble sound great
Sounds absolutely perfect, best sounding m2 comp on UA-cam. Loving the lack of burbles too a much more natural sound. Does this car have a opf?
Man this sounds great!
Pretty great, sounds raw and powerful. I definitely prefer the no-burble sound. Akrapovic sounds like ass imo.
Hands down my favorite sounding setup. Been looking for this exactly. What is the full set up here? Anyone specific you worked with at AA that I can reach out to?
Coding off exhaust burbles is brilliant! Is it difficult?
Sounds great! Is it my imagination or is the exhaust slightly Cockeyed to the right (left higher; right lower)?
Have never driven my comp in efficient or sports was waiting to hear sports plus or is there no different in sound wise between sport and sport plus?
Did the same setuo to my 2021 M2C. I also have the resonators which I added after I started with the non-res at the suggestion of the guys at AA. They said, "stock downpipes = ro res, cat delete dp = resonators". I now agree. Going back to the non-res setup very, very soon. So, a pair of resonator sections for sale in the Tucson area if someone is in the market!!!!
How's the volume on the non resonated? I've seen your pov videos but have you any from the outside car?
@@junaidg4890 yup, I was wrong. Took them off for the track day and they were a blast. LOUD AF!! For your daily in town driving, morning startups in a neighborhood… utterly obnoxious. Couldn’t take it any more. Put the resonators back on, happy as a clam.
I've got the non resonated EL midpipe only, stock DPs and muffler. Is there big difference in sound and volume, in person? Compared to your current setup.Thanx for the reply
@@junaidg4890 I’ve not heard your setup in person with the stock muffler, but the reason I initially bought their back box was to get off the diaper/udder/ball sack look of the stock muffler from the rear. Hated it. But the entire tone changed. Much deeper, throatier, and I’d guarantee it’s a bit louder. No drone in the cabin, but the noise is definitely there.
Was this with valves closed?
Thank God for no burble shit🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Sounds like 2000's BMW M54 Engine 🫶💕
what program/tune did you use to remove burbles?
I used Bimmerlink.
Sounds perfect! Burbles in my opinion sound so fake and sounds like a ricer car.
Exactly doesn’t need that fake shit.
I have m2c and I hate that sound. Trying to find solutions how to get sound without burbles
What axle baxk are you using?
I'm using the Active Autowerke Valved Rear Section
