It's currently June, 2021, and the Five Inch motor is out of stock until August at least. My 2nd pick would have been the T-Motor F40 Pro IV if you want to buy now. It's a great motor, but it doesn't have the unique flight characteristics of the Five Inch.

Am I the only one wishing that I had property like JB’s to fly.
your not alone.
I got lucky found historic farm place next to my house I go fly at. Almost always empty. Just avoid anyone of I see them.. my backyard way too small and my neighbors would flip if I flew loud 5" freestyle
I'd love to fly it, but not to maintain it.
Yeah, I live next to a battle field from the revolutionary war but they are no fly zones
@@loganfpv8334 oh shit.. that be awesome if it wasnt
JB's perfect build made from parts that are only in stock for UA-camrs. Only half-serious. Great vid as always JB!
Seriously though, I would be a couple thousand dollars deeper into the hobby if parts were in stock. I guess its a good thing?
gifted sort of guy ... amazing piloting . at 76 year old i am barely managing to hover my FPV drone . my first attempt at flying around was going like I was expecting .. UNTIL the screen /video ling went AWOL. I hadn,t a clue where my beloved drone was . i didn,t have a spotter .. all of the usual beginners screw ups I managed to commit all at once . My Eyesight and a faulty transmitter ended my weekly trips to the aerodromo to socialise with the other nuts .Love your videos .
Well Joshua, as a very new person to FPV, I just ordered your signature frame, FC, Runcam, and a few other things and will attempt my own build. Thanks so much! I joined your patreon as well. Appreciate what you do!
This intro was so good vides. That smile was like a child!
What an awesome guy you are, thank you for recommending the HaloRC Osiris. I can also now recommend the QAV-S JB Edition as I have flown your frame now too and it is freaking awesome!
About to start ordering parts to build this as my first drone. Love all the information this man has passed on to me. :D thanks for the entertainment/knowledge!!!!!!
I think the main programmer of Liftoff sim he gives his name to the lap when i flight in liftoff sim in bardwell’s backyard. A few times ago i started to watch your videos and now i understood a lot of company and guys love you sooo much. Thanks all of those knowledge that share us. Best regards from Turkey.
If nothing else, this video introduced me to using blu-tack or putty to hold the wiring harness while taking cables out. GENIUS! ❤️
I know right! Josh sold me on Blue Tack a while ago!...but it stinks bad when you hit the iron against it...lol
Beautiful build, Joshua! Really nice! 😃
Fantastic flying as well!!!
Thanks for all the tips, as usual. 😊
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Hey Bardwell , thanks for introducing me to the hobby it been a pretty good learning experience and a great way to deal with the constant covid lockdowns in my area.
JB you're killin' me with that orange tape!
He'd fully admitted it's a meme at this point but still, "perfect" build and its bright bloody red
Do I look happy today? Here's why: (whips out bag of crack)
He looks more of a 420 flying guy
Need more rampup power. Youll love it even more. PROMISE MY FRIEND!
How do you tell? Just curious
I just ordered your frame :) Can't wait to build it!
This will become my Shark Byte quad.
Awesome build, looking forward too the betaflight setup vid /upload tomorrow 👍
Damn Josh, were you trying to make me dizzy! hahahhaa, nice flying.
I love watching JB’s builds👌🏽
About time…. Stoked to build mine out. :)
Yesssss.... I needed a new build vid to watch! ❤️
i liked the video before even the first second. why? because I have been waiting for this exact video for so long and you are just awesome!
I’ve been waiting two weeks for mine! It’s making me crazy waiting!!!
Was waiting for this one. Awesome!!!
That's actually looking so great!!! Give me that! I want to try it!
Kick ass frame,... kick ass setup! Got my QAV-S!!!
🇫🇷 Hello, if your videos were translated into French, it would be great because a lot of French are watching you. Thanks for all your videos. You're great
5:30 Liked the video for this explanation. Respect the honesty.
Pumped for this JB!
I love the red tape!!!! You have gave me the confidence to sport my yellow tape!!! Eff the h8ers!!!
He's so happy ❤️
Wow congrats Jb looks great
Love it JB! Thanks.
Hi Josh Great video on your favorite build. I just finished my QAV-S and I can't wait to fly it. I just built mine a little different. I used the JB F7, and Holybro Tekko32 ESC, Caddx Ratel starlight, RUCH TANK, and NBD FLOW 2306.5 1850kv motors. On 6s. Thanks again for the video and information about your perfect freestyle build.
Let’s go the video we have all been waiting for
it’s 2021 bro. We left “let’s go” in 2020.
Frickin RIPS!!! Cool quad!
Loved the proper rip! 👌🔥
I love the FPVcycle imperials on my Apex!
I like how it looks like an eachine wizard. Classic
There is nothing better than when you site down and have all your parts to start your build.
Just did this yesterday :D different parts but works the same :D so far with what I was able to put on it I love it!
When will the solar panels on your roof be added to liftoff? :D
And wife's and baby's yard too;-)
Asking the questions of utmost importance here.
Need an update really 😅
Lmao
@@janickithomas you can fly that little area , there just isn't anything there.
Blue electrical tape is my go to...LOL. Love the red electrical tape!!
Awesome, awesome, awesome! Thank you for sharing this with us. :)
One thing that I absolutely hate about UA-cam is all of the trolls who will be negative about anything you post. Most of the time they have never posted a comment on their own and hunt for people to harrass and usually resort to calling names. I actively seek them out and use intellect to put them in their place. Loose the trolls!
I'm going to be building mine this weekend.. Two year old JB F4 stack, JB Phoenix2, two year old racerstar motors, IRC ghost hybrid, and a hydro dipped QAV-S Bardwell..
thanks very much 4 the video
I don’t know if it’s anyone else, but I always like to do my builds while someone else is doing theirs. Can’t wait to watch! Always love some nice build tips slong the way
Since 3 or 4 months ago your flying improved very noticebky with every Video i ve seen
i have never seen him so happy
Definitely look into the wowstick. It's a great electric screwdriver for working on builds. Saves a ton of time on prop screws for micro builds.
This is like what, your 5th or 6th "perfect build" now?
Six months ago: Perfect Build
Sixteen months later: Perfect Build!
No, sorry. This is my 2nd "perfect freestyle build" and I have also done a "perfect racing build". That's it. Three in total. And the first "perfect freestyle build" was over 2 years ago. Honestly, it's hard to know where people come up with these ideas.
Lol did someone wake up on the wrong side of the bed
ok .. so this is the "PERFECT" build ... what would make it the "ULTIMATE PEERFECT" build is to get it built byJB himself. Even with a wee extra fee - I be happy to know that I have the ULTIMATE PERFECT build - built by JB himself. Thats what I have learnt from this video.
miss you ,broke my quad cant afford the parts .but soon as i get back to work im building this you have ment so much to me and iv learn so very much thanks JB
I been waiting a long time for this video. Now I’m gonna be waiting even lover for parts to be in stock.
Lol parts from ur other build still out of stock lol..
Could never build it or even get any if the parts. Still watched it and enjoyed!!! Man quads of that spec must be nice to fly haha.
This build is in my future plans . Looking forward to flying a new freestyle Quad. Maybe even step up to DJI goggles and air unit.
Great video.
Joshua, as far as the power leads: grind down and sand the camera side carbon plate leaving a nice gap for those 2 leads to pass through. Easy Peary fix. No rubbing or binding. Finish with zip tie.
Ur smile in the intro was priceless
Damn… My perfect JB Chameleon ti build didn’t die yet 🤷🏼♂️
you're missing a spoiler bro. no joke those things help with flow.
1:35 I'm stealing this powerloop flip flop throwback thing
Im hyped
Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes!!
I think what makes this the perfect build is the red electric tape!!!
Oh no, "red" electrical tape again. Love it !
Glad you did it wrong cause so did I an a fall from 20 feet drop throttle on grass an the arms pop right out of place. Thought the Fram was defective. Now I know what's wrong lol. Nothing broke rear arm popped out. Thanks for the good info.
Yes!
Damn JB, your gettin good!! :-)
Be honest... in all the time you've been flying in your yard, how many times have you hit the wires? :)
Chris- I’ve thought that exact thing on different occasions, but it came up again a couple of times in this video
Thanks for helping me start with the hobby Joshua! I've seen quite a few of your videos and they are really helpful. Just a quick question, what is your take on attaching the capacitor and possibly the spike absorber at the other end of the power leads (on top of the xt60)? This would possibly free up enough space such that the esc could be mounted in the normal orientation.
Forgot to mention what 6s battery you were using for optimal flight time and performance. Thanks for the detailed build video. Still waiting on my lost fpvcrate to arrive.
Jb put a nice name for the new build drone,,😝
7:31 I know nothing abt drones but can’t argue with that statement lol
Using one of your stacks on an Vista Apex build. Turned the ESC sideways to negate the XT60 clearance issue, then used a printed mount that I got from Thingiverse to hold the cap to a standoff.
Weird thing I've found with your stack though. In a past video you made, you mentioned turning the PWM freq down to 24mgz. I've done that on three other builds with different stacks, all great. On your (iFlight) stack, the quad freaks out immediately on arming. Stuttering, twitching, etc.. Set the PWM freq back to the stock 48mgz, it flies perfectly. Not an issue, just thought it was kinda strange..
red tape is cool...I use red on the left arms and green on the right to mimic navigation lights--helps this noob on quick copter orientation
Love your channel man. I use your info ALL THE TIME. Are you also the know it all for network security, or am I chasing a ghost here?
I just bought your Qav s jb edition being the dumbass I am I didn’t realize the dji airunit would not fit, so until I get the proper air unit in it I just used longer standoffs and mounted it on top of the stack lol works perfectly until I get the correct parts lol long story short , Thank you! awsome frame 🎉
Hello JB, congrats on finally getting your perfect build. You look so excited. I just want to know what the all up weight is for the HD version. Thanks
With hero 8, analog, and 1000 mAh 6s, it weighs 702 grams. I haven't weighed it on DJI yet but about 15 grams more. I. Would typically fly it on hero 7 which saves maybe 20 grams.
Thanks I am planning my next freestyle build and I want to use a hero 8 with the nebula pro. It seems the more my skills progress the more weight conscious I become. Or more appropriately, thrust to weight conscious.
I really dig the changes you made on the QAV-S. Would you be willing to add 5.5 inch (prop diameter) arms as an option? I would definitely buy one. I have a 6 inch QAV-R2 and I love it but it feels big. I think the 5.5 inch revolution is coming. I want the QAV-S JB edition to be my first.
amazing, thanks for showing! ¶ :-)
Passando pra prestigiar aquele like e 🤜🤛👍👍😉
Braided tubing for your motor wires work well
That pic...looked like a wizzard 220 at a glance!
Yeap got this frame. I'm waiting for the flight controller got motors .
tip to install the gummies: rub a bit of dental floss on one side of the indentation, slide the other side in the hole, then pull the floss :-)
It's good but the Darkside Arc is still King!!!
I use 14awg a lot too. Why do you not put one wire on each side of the standoffs? Looked like it would work. Definitely found two battery straps are needed on many of my drones especially to hold the battery plug in. Though of have given a few straps a haircut - Roma f5!
Yays! I'm looking forward to this build, just waiting on that elusive vista..... Question in the mean: I'm going to run mine on 4S. Can I get away without the cap? and If so, would there be enough room to run the bat leads out the back, up through the frame and miss the vista?
There's room to run out the back/side but not all the way back across the Vista.
Looks and sounds great. Can you let Steele take it for a drive? :D Please?!
Steele would just call the digital video garbage and complain about the latency.
@@TheDiegoAranda lol, true true...
@@TheDiegoAranda But as far as torture test, to me it's Steele's way of piloting. I'm digging JB's build tho..
dude never seen a guy so happy
What’s the KV and size of those motors? And the mounting holes on the back, are they spaced for 20mm?
I'd love to build this, too bad everything is sold out and on backorder everywhere :( I hope this chip shortage ends soon.
after this chip shortage ends, bitcoin goes back to being a 'normal' price or the difficulty increases so much so that a graphics card will be pointless the prices will drop and we can get back to buying stuff just to try it out.
Chicken wings will drop in price well before that will happen. And mcu6000 may never come back
I am building an "in stock" version of JBs perfect build. Should be more than decent when done. Only big difference in mine is I fly 4s and analog so... JB frame - SpeedyBee F7 V2 30x30 3-6S Stack/Combo - XING2 2306 2555KV 4S FPV Motor - JB Phoenix2 cam - Rxsr (till ELRS come out for my T-Lite) - Rush FPV Tiny Tank 25-350mW 5.8GHz Micro VTX - Gemfan Hurricane 51477 Should be fun!
The Bob Ross of FPV build videos whispered "F the haters".
Hey Joshua, Im not sure if you covered this in another video but why not use the 20x20 mounting holes to mount the vista?
I should do more videos of my building steps which focus on my highest priority to ensure that NOTHING touches the flight control and that has saved me soo many issues.
Lets go time to spend some money
Have you seen the new fpvcycle protorype 5" frame? Its on fpvcycle already!
Building mine right now with the vista and Eco 2207 1700. I was surprised those motors are 36.2g with the wires and prop nut. In your flight video it sounds like there is vibrations at lower throttle. Is that likely from the frame or motors? Do you think that can be tuned out?
Gonna need more property those kabab motors make short work of that.
I'm going to be building this soon. I know it's only been 2 months but is there anything you would change about this build today for analog?
