Cyber Weapons Lab, Episode 204
Hacking remotely can be quite difficult, particularly if you find yourself somewhere rural. In this episode of Cyber Weapons Lab, we're going to go over your different internet options, including satellite, cellular, and DSL connections, and hash out their pros and cons. We'll also talk about mobile hotspots, cell phone boosters, and channel bonding.

THE LEGENDARY NON BLINKER HAST BEEN REVIVED . EVERYONE BOW YOUR HEADS DOWN
But I saw him blink :P
but I wanna bow my head up!
@@Darkdaej that was to remove any suspicion anyone has.
I'm not blinking so i can catch him not blinking 😂
Lol!!! But he’s the man he made me spent my money and bought raspberry pi. And lean to code
you guys are snapp'n lately, i watch all content on all channels, thank you for everything
Dude this has made my day. My internet connection is really S*****. Thanks a lot, Kody

He probably started uploading this video 4 years ago with that speed
Who knows lol.. mines not that good either my isp internet plan show to be running at 10 mbps meanwhile I'm only getting upto 8 mbs when testing the speed but still not bad for a place where I live it's a hilly side so pretty much obvious.
@@SoftricWares so tech savvy.
@@earlofthearies.1982 lol, thanks mate.
I didn't realize Microtik had an LTE dish. Very good to know. A Mofi with pigtail antennas replaced with a diy frequency tuned yagi would make for a very interesting follow up as well.
Good video to end this year. Cheers
I used to work for a Tier I provider. We had a few leased fibers from Frontier. We would know of an outage before they did... often. Getting an ETTR was impossible. So I set up a bonus structure. All my techs had the current contractual SLA's on their desk. Bonus tier was paid to the team if a call was made every hour until restoration. Second bonus tier was paid if escalations were made per the SLA. I tried to get a final tier when Frontiers CEO was escalated to but I could not get executive backing. Their NOC got damn tired of hearing from us and I heard about it often. My team enjoyed the extra cash.
Yay the non-blinking guy
Yessir
Lol
No he is so fast
Dude he's the best my favorite guy on this program he's the most elaborate and is extremely good at simplifying solutions.
He blinks but blinks so fast that the human eye can't tell
Welcome back Kody. I was about to call 911 because we haven't seen you in a while.
No, he started making vids back again cuz I was calling 911 repeatedly.
Oh, you obviously don't have frontier then
Thank you for an amazing presentation. That STARE!
Mofi has great admin option but the ethernet is 100 not gig. I use the Nighthawk and get 250/40 frequently in rural Oregon. Both are able to use Yagi antennas with wires and adapter. I wrote a blog on medium called mobile hotspot speed tuning.
I have two internet connections coming into an SD-WAN bundle on my Fortigate firewall. one is my rural DSL, the other is my sierra wireless GSM/LTE "modem" with two external antennas mounted at 90 degrees pointed directly at the nearest cellphone tower. it works well. Using AT&T sim from work that gets me unlimited LTE on a grandfathered plan. Luckily shortly after i set this up a CAF project completed in my area so my DSL is now 80 down/20 up. When I moved in, it was 512k/512k.
i thought i have really bad internet speed on cellular , but when i saw your video , i feel airtel is doing great job
Instead of the repeater. Use 2 of the wilson 4g antennas (directed at a tower) with adapters on the primary and secondary port on the mofi. Use f connectors and appropriate adapters.
Calyx instute has a incredible deal on LTE hotspot thats unrestricted in data cap and almost always speed.
I had Frontier DSL. Slow but that is all we could get. Now I have fiber and it was like going from a WW1 Biplane to the Millennium Falcon.
I love the german sticker infront of your laptop♥
now thats something ive been eager to learn
I still have to do my browsing with lynx sometimes.
I also use a BBS (telnet) hosted by a friend of mine. 50% of my time I am in a city, but otherwise, I am at my cottage. (where the Internet is not as good. I can watch UA-cam videos with maybe 360P and it will still be laggy)
I watched this on Hughesnet. Took like 40 minutes
IKR Hughesnet is such Trash & possibly the worst ISP I have ever used!!!
Love your content :)
For 110 doller in india we get 150 mb/s download and 100 mb/s upload for 6 months I am using it . It is awesome.
Do any of these new hotspot type devices support wifi 6? Do any of them support 5g since I am in an area that has it? Category 16 or higher?
5g is unreliable on hotspots. I think the new Nighthawk at ATT does Wifi6
como sempre conteúdo excelente.
Are you guys in PNW? your server you connect to was seattle.
⚠️ I need help. ⚠️
I have an idea in my mind for "stealing" WPA&WPA2 WiFi passwords, and i can't find that someone did this on the internet.
Steps:
1. Capture the handshake from victim.
2. Make a fake/our AP with the same SSID as victims WiFi SSID. Our/fake AP needs to have a password protection (it needs to look exactly the same like victims WiFi when he checks the settings on his phone/PC)
3. Now we disconnect user/victim from his real WiFi and prevent/block him from seeing his real WLAN Name when he check the settings on his device.
4. Victim will now ONLY see our fake AP and he will think it is his real WiFi so he will try to connect and enter the password in the password field. (Or maybe the phone will connect to it automatically because it will think that this WiFi is trusted one)
5. We will now capture the password which he is trying to enter and we will compare it with the handshake we captured earlier.
6.1. If password and the handshake match, we will continue to step 7.
>6.2. If password and the handshake doesn't match, we will go to step 6.3.
>6.3. We will not accept the user/victim to connect to our fake AP and we will request the password again (like on any other normal WiFi)
7. Now that we captured the correct password we will accept the user/victim to connect to our fake AP (just for a few seconds) (so the user/victim thinks there is nothing wrong and that he successfully connected)
8. We will now turn off / stop transmitting our fake AP and in the same time we will stop blocking user/victim from seeing and connecting to his real WiFi (he probably won't notice this step because his device will probably automatically connect back to his real WiFi within few seconds)
FINISHED:
1. User/victim didn't suspect anything because he didn't go through sketchy fake login web-page. (A lot of other hackers use "Evil Twin Attack" with fake web page of your router, asking you to enter a password to update the router, or they use some similar tools, like Fluxion (same router update fake web page), Wifiphisher (fake router web page...). They are all basically the same attacks.)
2. We got the correct password for that WiFi.
THE END
If you read all of this Thank You So Much!
As you can see my english is not perfect but if you have any question or didn't understand some part of my idea, just reply to comment here.
Thank you for help!
Hi man, it’s something you tested or simply you’re asking for confirmation?
@@samsapiol9949 Hi, thanks for stopping by.
No i didn't test this because i don't know how to create access point that accepts any password and let's user connect to it. But after i get that i could automatically compare handshake with given password and decide to let the user join the access point.
@@ivansimic1878 have you ever used evil twin attack?
@@samsapiol9949 yeah but that seems like a scam to someone who knows just a bit about routers and that stuff
waiting as patiently as possible for starlink---
thanks for the video
got one yet?
get involved in the Starlink beta and try it for us. the best option for rural areas in the near future
Oh yeah, we're going to do a video on that I think.
Im shocked how bad it is for you in the states.
Germany is also really really slow but they have semi good options, I have a combined DSL+LTE Contract, gives me between 50-60mb/s down and it's unlimited.
Doesn't really get slower than that here
Yeah you have to think about how large the U.S. is. Much harder to cover all the land here with good internet. I live in the mountains in North Carolina and my internet is good, but I can only make phone calls from 1 corner in my house.
Waiting for the channel bonding video.
No blink guy is back
thanks Kody for this topic !
I live countryside too and i use 4g / lte b715s-23c router from huawey with logarythmic high quality antennas 2 yagis + low loose wires. The pb with this solution is that is expensiv 400€ + tax. PB# the router is very hot in summer this is a toaster thanks to the plastic case ... yes designer are never hear about black bodies .... topology is a big pb so signal amplifier is not the best solution if you have an hill between you and the cell antenna. Loga antenna is the most simple & inexpensive solution but not the best for reception the ultimate solution is using mixer/spliter + filters for each frequencies if you agregate in lte+ 700+2600+1800 this cost you an arm ! A soon you receive / transmit a voice call phone in 3g then 4g lte signal drop ... LTE is good if you can see the cell but if you have a hill, trees or a dead cow in front of you the signal drop and vanish ... 7000mhz LTE is the best fréquency with a good propragation cone. 5G on upper frequencies are stoped and absorb by trees, hill, birds ... they are useless countryside this is only marketing or maybe good if you live in town.
Maybe an other inexpensive solution is making a communauty mesh network with openwrt + batproject protocols (mesh protocol) on rpiw0 (or other) and home made yagi 2.4ghz + solar pannel and powerbank in order to jump from high spot to high spot and connect to a town with a good internet acces ...
didnt read this
thanks man.. Cant wait for the next video.
ive realised i came to same conclusions. local wan is crap. opted for 4g instead. 15 per month prepaid for 200gibbiebytez - i never looked back.
the only issue im having lately is tryin to find a solution for it to be more stable, do some sort of load balancing or link aggregation but cannot seem to find all those sweet info that are for isp eyes only :D partner offers u know. the cheap ones. XD
I have a Samsung galaxy s10 plus unlocked originaly for sprint but when I put my Sim card in it won't connect to t-mobile network or 4g network only E signal any solutions please
Man! When we had frontier 5 years ago it took 12+ hours to download an ubuntu ISO image! 75Kbps download is a bit ridiculous. A cellular hotspot saved the day there.
Yeahhhhhhhh , but that time it taught us what real patience feels like . ❤️ , Nowadays we can't find patience in ppl due to fastness of things
@@zandagrouzdon5044 not when you are paying for speeds WAY WAY faster. It rendered netflix and youtube almost useless. it wasn't patience i was feeling that's for sure.

My Dad in has Frontier DSL in rural Illinois. He gets roughly 384 down 128 up...kilobits/s. It's a minor step up from 56k dialup. Who's we? Is there now a Mrs. Null Byte??
"Competing with comcast, who also no none likes" I like comcast.. I got 3-500 mbps internet speed constant with it, and very low latency. (Upload speed was a bit low, at like 10-15 mbps though)
My experience with Comcast was excellent too.
MBPS or Mbps?

SpaceX's Starlink satellite-internet service
Funny I was just thinking about such thing a while ago, using a yaggi antenna.
that’s nice
Been there,done that.
Yagi antennas do add some consistency to quality of the signal. Run it up a mast. Channel 12 with ATT sim card and it does well.

Hello, is there a way we can inject Rat into the video file? (On Android)
HAHA,its really hard for me learning stuff
cause i only get to study in the middle of the night cause i dont have my own pc plus the skill that i wanted to is quit scary they say, so i keep it secret, cause they think hacking is all about stealing and stuff, men its fantasy!!!I know im learning in a really slow way,I mean for a year I only learned the basic of python and kali linux and still dont know how to fix simple errors they say
and on how to use this stuff or how to make it and people just kept on saying just watch and learn very carefully and look for the most detail cause if you skip ones (fail)men accuracy //great vid

are you sure this works? thanks for sharing
Last night there was a dude telling me how developed is the USA(I'm from Eastern Europe, small village, like the ones you see if you type Cyberpunk 2077 Russia) and I get ~100 mbps down and ~60 mbps up for around $8 USD a month in that village. Think this is, because the "thugs" here have no idea how internet works, so they have largely left this business to many small companies.
i was able to share my mobile hotspot without the sharing throttling by changing the ttl of the device to mimic the ttl of the phone
