My father God rest his soul used to watch this DVD when he was sick, and I must say from that time onwards I was hooked, watching these 3 magnificent tenors. Just amazing!Everytime I miss my Dad I listen or watch this on You Tube and it just brings back that special time I had with him. Miss you Dad so much!

Es momento que las nuevas generación conozcan que Giovanni Capurro, uno de los poetas más célebres de Italia, escribió la letra. Las palabras "o sole mio" significan "mi sol" en el idioma napolitano, que se utiliza en partes de Italia. Esta es una canción de amor. Empieza a hablar de un día soleado y rápidamente se vuelve para describir el sol que brilla desde la cara de un amante y luego para verla en su ventana. La canción se cierra con el cantante declarando extrañamente que se quedaría debajo de la ventana de su amor después de que se pusiera el sol. Growing up with an Italian uncle (Uncle Albert) who sang this song all the time, I grew to love this melody. Of course, his singing was no comparison to the best of the best--these voices are simply magnificent!

Who would have guessed these guys have a sense of humor...However I think Il Volo do a much better job and I listen to them daily...Can't get enough of Il Volo... I bought this DVD ( The Original 3 Tenors Concert) for my granny to listen to whilst recovering from heart attack. My dad had to get them a DVD player. Since then they tell me it has been playing 'non stop' . So I thought I would actually come and listen to it for myself. First impressions are pretty good!
