Mike Griffith and former SEC Coach Jeremy Pruitt break down Georgia--Ohio State and react to Heisman finalists and SEC bowl pairings -- On The Beat, Dec. 5
This is good shit Mike!!! I wouldn’t use that language if I didn’t mean it lol way to go on getting Pruitt on the show, lot of good inside knowledge here all year, awesome to get Pruitts perspective from an SEC coach love the show!!! Love dawgnation
Nice work today, Mike! Don't see our guy Stetson Bennett winning the Heisman but he is an "SEC Storied" waiting to happen. The guy plays with a chip on his shoulder and he's come such a long way from his walk-on days. Who saw that coming? I don't believe the Heisman Trophy is the prize Stetson is pursuing anyway. He came back for the love of the game, his love of Georgia, and to pursue another championship. And the championship culture in Athens is firmly entrenched. I also don't think the hype of the Heisman or any other outside distractions will deter the Dawgs from getting back "in the lab" as they prepare for Ohio State and its big-time passing game. They've got a lot to work on and I'm sure they look forward to it. Go Dawgs!
Let's hear it for the world class offensive line including Brock Bowers and Darnell Washington. Without them Stetsons stats would be very ordinary and his performance very mediocre. He said tell himself, I never get touched. So it is simply pitch and catch.
I got a quick interview question for Griffith. How many times last year did you and Brandon Adams say that Georgia couldn’t win a national championship with Bennett? And that Daniels was the best option. And , nothing against Daniels, but didn’t he get pulled for a backup at WV and is now in the transfer portal again? Just questioning your quarterback analytics.
I keep hearing certain remarks about the playoff setup/seeding but I’d (as a fan) would much rather have the satisfaction of beating Ohio then Michigan than tcu then Michigan. Makes the end result that much sweeter, there shouldn’t be an easy road to win a national championship
This is Damon from fort Payne Alabama played under Erk Russell. Like the Plainview sweat shirt. Do you think Georgia will be able to rush just 4 and contain stroud and get in Ohio State back field
Damon from fort Payne Alabama. Born in Athens went through the spring behind k Butler and started for Erk Russel at Ga southern. Like your sweat shirt coach . You say Georgia will need to contain stroud and keep him in the pocket . Do you think Ohio State can keep the Dawgs out of Ohio State back field ?
Michigan gave you the blueprint to beat OSU and exposed their woeful secondary. Unless they can fix that in 3 weeks, it's gonna be ugly because UGA and those tight ends are not a good matchup for the Buckeyes
This guy has Tennessee in the finale four and not OSU. Do you remember Purdue beating Tennessee just last year. That team is over rated. Bama should have lost to a Texas team without it’s Qb. Tcu beat Texas with its starter.
Ohio state doesn’t run 4 wr looks hardly ever but most of this is decent coverage of them. They will need to be more physical on the outside to help the run game and utilize the middle of the field for CJ because the pocket time will be limited to a degree. Should be a fun matchup
Thanks, Mike and Jeremy! 👍

2 more games, Go Dawgs!!!!
Awesome show as usual.

His stats are the best out of all the contenders. He's a stellar QB who's a victim of no star hate.

I expected Bama to go undefeated this year. I thought we would take a small step back. Glad I was wrong! GODAWGS!!

SEC Offensive Player of the Year and most important player to his team in all of college football doesn't get an invite. Wow...just Wow...

I’ve said the same all year - BY is the best player in CFB. Hooker deserved an invite over maybe Williams but definitely Duggan
Mike I love you Brother, but did JT make it to NYC this year? You missed on that one just a little bit..

I looked at Stetson stats up against the contenders. He's the top QB.
His stats would be ordinary if not for our Stellar offensive line.
LSU wasn't going to lay down. Dawg fans are better than that. LSU came out with all they had.
Paying players makes them professional
Yes...Hendon Hooker deserved to be in the running for the Heisman.
Mac got rolled up on, the 3 weeks off + therapy will help.
Hahahahahaha yeah he’s about paying players 😂

I'd rather see Coach Donnan than Pruitt.
He's on his own podcast
Cry about it more.

Justin Fields won as many championship games as Jake Fromm.
And Jake Fromm was better than Fields in 18’. But great gotcha’ there gloom and doom.
