This setup was in the works for a long time. The Artifox Desk is such an awesome upgrade and brings a new minimal aesthetic to the space. Definitely recommend their stuff!

Came here because I just bought a 24” iMac and revamping my desk setup. I’m not a tech guy. Subscribed because I saw the Porsche poster in the background. Nice. Awesome setup!
Now me personally now within the last week I got an M1 iPad Pro and I do drawings on it as a hobby and use it for school the storage for my movies ands games and have no problems. It’s the 512GB Space gray 12.9 inch iPad Pro.
Update to this comment. I still stand by what I said but I use the iPad Pro more as a music device. I’m in The Philadelphia All City Choir so all the music can be found digitally so I use the iPad Pro split screen with voice memos to record parts and look at the music. Same concept for the school choir with the music on the left memos on the right to record my parts. In theaters as a lead I use the iPad with the script so I can take notes and read music on that screen. I use it more as a notebook and I do use it every day so for my use case the iPad Pro is a good device since I do use it as a pro device since most of my work relating art goes on that iPad. It’s also a great device for drawing on a bigger scale and with my 512Gb version also downloading my music with Apple Music or shows has been great for content consumption. My iPad Pro is also my travel laptop on its own since it can act like a laptop in a pitch’s. I still love my MacBook and am gonna be upgrading it to the M2 Pro 14 inch since I want to get into music recording and UA-cam.

Before spending $1.6K on their complete walnut desk (like I unfortunately did)…people should know that returns are difficult. And with my experience, they are not willing to address quality control issues. Which is disappointing as I like their aesthetic and was planning to purchase the Side in walnut too. However, after the quality issue with the desk, I decided to try to find an alternative.
I like the chair it is unique, also the Sony WF1000M4 because I haven't try in ear headset yet i have been over ear type of person something new to try but most of all the Xbox looks like it needs to be used. If you like I can take good care of it for you. 😁❎🎮🍀🤞 Have a good one
Karl, I know how you feel. That massive chin at the front of iMac is like giant bezels on an iPhone 8. I would love to have thin bezels but... Apple uses this design to stand out from it's competitors and whether we like it or not, it's here to stay for the next few years at the very least. Great video, btw!

How did you run a power cable to your desk in the middle of the room? I am about to set up my home office this way but can't think of how to do it without it looking terrible trying to get to a wall outlet.

I am a huge ManU and Oranje fan #HupHup so we are good there. I must say people who thought FCP iPad was coming at WWDC missed the mark big time. WWDC is for developers not Editors or Creators. When FCP for iPad drops it will be at the iPhone/Monterey full launch or the October event. Way better marketing and time to run through longer Pseudo Public Beta after the M1 hardware has had time to be fully tested in the real world for a few months.
Is it just me or the colour grading looks different from the usual colour grading? I mean the iMac doesn't look orange but more of a dark wine or something like that.
I would have a different set up, although this one is prettygood. On a 1-10 scale I will give it a 6. Thanks for your hard work you did on this video. Keep up the good work. 👍
