      Third nobody the last 5 years use Isro for launching satellites. India has between 1 and 3 launches per year the last couple of years.

      There are many types and sizes of satellites . There are passive satellites which are effectively just a small piece of metal in whatever shape which reflect signals beamed to it . This are easy to launch and packed in the cone of the rocket. There are big sophisticated satellites with high resolution cameras, sensors etc which cannot be launched en masse. So it is not a measure of capabilities. That is why the rocket science world does not pay much attention to such a "feat".

    First of all, THANK YOU for educating me on the history of the Indian Space Program. Despite the misleading title. However, it is so increasingly frustrating when people are quick to put companies that have not even achieved successful orbit on par with Rocket Lab. First it was Astra, now the comparisons are trying to be drawn to Firefly with no successful missions. Rocket Lab is head and shoulders above any competition other than SpaceX. And by UA-camrs continuing to force these comparisons, it distracts people from recognizing what a great company and investment Rocket Lab is, through PROVEN and CONSISTENT success, not just through launch but through solar arrays, space systems and software as well. But again, thanks for the history lesson.

      @soul_Link12 Рік тому +1

      I'm sure Rocket Lab is intensely competent at building rockets and I'm sure they have a lot of knowledge, talent and know-how....but their stock has been steadily dropping this entire year. They fell from about $16 to $3.75 and have only recovered to about $6.6. I bring this up because I've been getting into trading and I'm curious if you think we will see the company recover their loses. Thanks for educating us about Rocket Lab!

      Absolutely true Toni. Many countries have achieved modest success in L.E.O. and geostationary assets, few countries have heavy lift high orbit launch capabilities - and that is what really counts. Buying a ride on ESA launchers makes you a customer not a leader.

      @ajaxjaiswal3442 Рік тому

      @@michaeldavison9808 well if you see the incremental increase it in the capacity development of ISRO rockets you will see a upward trend, i accept leadership is still far-fetched but, the advancements now is going to exponential from here on, because the Indian economy is rising and the private space agencies in India can do the launching and it'll give ISRO space to research into more advanced techs.
      Wait a bit, it'll happen. In a decade or so India and China will be launching most of the world's satellites.

      This is in general economic matters in the broadest sense, not just in matters relating to space.
