Yes indeed. Psalm 91 was found in a container with three scrolls about exorcism in Qumran (dead sea scrolls). I am sure someone would recite psalm 91 continually to the possessed individual. Thinking about it in this manner makes it even more powerful.

I had hoped to move to Israel when I was 20 and am now over 70. The Lord has woken me in the night with many hymns and spiritual songs I wrote mostly with my lyre harp. I've played guitar for years with bluegrass and gospel music bands, in church, etc. My husband is also a musician and we've been singing together for 50 years now. I'm constantly looking up for the Lord to return since the return of Jerusalem to His holy people in 1967. The war in 1973 happened while I was working as a production's assistant for CBN in Virginia surrounded by so many musicians. It's there I learned the real meaning of Passover, the psalms, and to understand prophecy while praying for wisdom from above. He gives freely to the least of His children. I have been grafted into the Same roots (restored? many of my ancestors were forced to flee from Rome as Jews (Hirzel) and forced to convert to save themselves as they were scattered first to Switzerland then to America by 1750. It's true deep calls to deep as in this 8th generation from the first planting here I still hear the sound of the Good Shepherd calling us HOME.

It was revealed to me that he was playing Shelter of The Most High, to which God revealed to you. You have no idea how greatly I am blessed by this song. Actually for the past 5 months (or more) I have been listening to this song every night before I sleep. I listen during day time too and use it for comforting my kittens who lost their Mom in Feb. They love the harp music and also sleep well when I sing the lyrics to them. It's quite comforting. For 2 years now Yah has been using the Psalms to relate His love for me. I read one most every day and takes notes on it. It is beautiful to hear Psalms 91 sung... the most interesting part about this is that this is the "warrior" Psalms as it has the zayin all through it... The Lord brought Psalm 92 in my memory when He made me stand in front of my enemy to show me what He did to my enemy who relentlessly persecuted me for the Name of my Lord. I praise the Lord who promised and fulfilled "With thine your own eyes ye shall see the recompense of the wicked." It happened only when I entered the presence of the Most High the Mighty One who took down my enemy who became powerlessly blind.

I have not found anyone singing Psalm 92 that has a very special place in my life. The Lord brought Psalm 92 in my memory when He made me stand in front of my enemy to show me what He did to my enemy who relentlessly persecuted me for the Name of my Lord.
I praise the Lord who promised and fulfilled "With thine your own eyes ye shall see the recompense of the wicked." It happened only when I entered the presence of the Most High the Mighty One who took down my enemy who became powerlessly blind.
