I would go 3070 for more bass-heavy genres, and 2070 for a more natural/accurate picture for others. Stereo image is similar.
Hi, I ordered SC 3070 while building my home studio which has 14’x14’x10’ (Length x Width x Height). The room is fully sound isolated and treated now but it goes down to 12.5’x13’x9.5’. Is there gonna be a problem with SC 3070? What’s your room dimension using your SC 3070?
Hello, mine is actually around the same size. What works well for bass is keeping the door open to the rest of the house, haha. Acts like a huge basstrap!
Hi, for music listening they are all amazing, you can't go wrong with any of them. But if you can afford it, for pure enjoyment I would go SC3070, it's a more all-round speaker. And it's the one that works best for me when mixing and mastering as well.
The 2070 is a very different experience compared to the 305. They are a lot more neutral and detailed, but the 305s are still amazing for the price and range.
Hello, I have never listened to the SC208 and KH310 specifically. I can compare to the KH120 and SC207 though. The Neumann sound is very analytical and "lifeless", let's say. I had the 120 for a while and they are great mixing tools but are incredibly boring and not inspiring at all for the production phase. I still prefer the EVE sound and would go with the 2070 over the 208 because of the way this new tweeter is implemented.
