As a middle age guy with a family who loves to fish, LFG is the most relatable Googan for me. He was more mature though had fun and always put his family first. Even with the health ordeal…the wifey, the kids, always came first. You’ll be back in a bigger & better place you’ll call.. home. Much respect!!

The “only” Googan? What about Jon B. He’s the same kid he always was just a dad now, still producing amazing fishing adventure content regularly. Flair isn’t bad either, he sorta found his niche elsewhere doing farm/construction things with a small side of fishing but I wouldn’t say the money changed him either

When you said you're leaving the treehouse, i got misty-eyed. I remember when you first moved in there and all the work and renovations. It's the end of an era and change is always hard, but I'm sure you'll make rhe best decision for you, Stephanie and the kids. Wishing yoiu all the best as you get started on the new chapter. How many of those "assclowns" have you had a conversation with? I don't know you but isn't it assclown-ish to label people that you don't even know as "assclowns"? I think it's healthy to realize there's a little assclown in us all and to give people a break when they stray into assclown land... Cuz that's what you'll want the next time you visit! -Occasional Assclown.
What did the other guys do that was gross? I have only watched a tiny amount of their content.

You know, I found you back before you guys got the tree house. I've watched you guys build and grow your family. It's been awesome. Going through my divorce, you guys were that comfort, even if it's just watching you guys adventure and some awesome fishing to boot. Me and my kids are kind of in the same situation though, when you outgrow and don't have the time to fix everything, it's time to move forward. I wish you guys luck and can't wait to see what the future holds ❤
Life is an adventure. You’re obviously very blessed to have such a wonderful family so it really doesn’t matter where you go as long as you have that. God and family brother.

I lost touch with this channel a few years back when Googan got all corporate, and I kind of lost my love for fishing. Emmy was just a baby. Didn't even have little man. Crazy to find this channel again and see how grown up she's gotten, and now another fresh face in little man. Really cool to see. Feels like family you have but don't see all the time, and then you see them again and are amazed at the changes.
One of the reasons for I love your videos so much and have stuck with you since discovering googan years ago is your self awareness and being real. You don’t change anything once the camera comes out you just take us for the ride.

A bit late to the game, but LFG was actually the first fishing UA-camr I saw, and I remember watching his videos, as well as got into the rest of the googan squads vids, during a difficult time in my life, before they even moved into the treehouse. Very thankful I stumbled across this channel!

LFG, doing what’s right for the family IS the right thing to do. We made a large move recently back to a small town, and left suburban life behind. Learning curve for my wife and kids but it’s been great overall. Small school, small town, good values. Good luck my friend!
Man its crazy seeing this and how relatable this is to my wife and I life. We have 3 littles 5/2/1. We moved out to a house similar next to a state forest and have a homestead. We have out grew everything already in our 5th year and man has this house been work......Been watching you for years and years. But this channel got super relatable when I think our families had kids about the same time. My wife and I have said the same exact thing you said in the beginning though. Beginning of this year we felt a change happening and we aren't sure what. But with this past weekend we found out what it was and ready to take that jump. You guys got it! Better to be sad it happened then have no emotion at all. Means you guys used your time and property to its fullest.

Good on you for trusting the leading of the Lord. Time to move on to bigger and better things outside of the metro-mess. All the things you have there can be done better & more relaxed on a larger place that doesn't get torn up with every major rain storm. Personally, I'd love to live somewhere between Bois D'arc & Fork. Plus, Bois D'arc will be one of the hottest fishing spots in the next 5 to 10 years. Relatively new sub here, definitely late to the journey but I am here now. I came for a fishing video but found soooo much more. Had to go back and watch the journey on both LFG and lake life family channels, from surgery and follow up appointments to sticking the knife in your leg and many outdoor adventures, even read lots of comments to see how others were relating to you and the life you are sharing with us. I know you’ve heard it before from many viewers and fans,but you truly do have the best channel on UA-cam! Always real and share the tough trials of life as well as the priceless rewards of family and the outdoors. You have given many inspiration and strength to make it through their own struggles. Thank you for sharing your journey with us! I can only hope that I am navigating life as gracefully!

I remember when you moved into this place and built the wood mail opening cave - only in my early 20's so just starting to have these experiences of watching more and more beginnings and ends, and although this one is bittersweet your next place is going to be awesome!

Come to Southwest Missouri. I know you’re Texas at heart, as am I, but I moved to SW MO last year and absolutely love it. The Ozarks are a beautiful place. There’s 9 different lakes within ear shot. I have heard that specifically the town of Ozark, MO has the best school district in the area. Going from salt to fresh water was a major change for me and I have no regrets. Here’s to a blessed and bright future for you and your family. ☮️❤️
We currently have an Ayam Cemani rooster that is about 2.5 years old but we just clipped him about a centimeter back with some tin snips. Supposedly when their spurs get long they basically impale themselves when they go to roost at night.

Since i started following LFG i have been more motivated to go out and fish. I been learning so much from you by carefully watching all the techniques and tip and tricks you provide in your content and it actually made me way better at fishing in South Africa which is not easy sometimes . Change is good. I personally went deeper into the woods and a bigger piece. Enough that I don't need to touch the majority of it monthly. I know all of my does and most of the bucks on sight. No lake but I have a large southeastern reservoir 3 miles away to wet a line. Had to move 600 miles to get the right spot but happy I did.
Best wishes brother as you start down this new path. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Charleston, SC is a hidden gem. Proud red city/state. Downtown Charleston has gorgeous old architecture and cobblestone streets. Rich history. Mt. Pleasant, S.C., and surrounding areas are gorgeous and blossoming well. If a move is in the making, take a trip, and visit. It’s breathtaking.
Charleston is a beautiful place but it’s pretty much as blue as it gets in SC. That being said would love to see yall in our neck of the woods. SC is a great state.
I live in summerville and yeah mt plastic and charleston is about as yuppie as it gets. Democrats have their rallies there do get majority democratic votes. You clearly don't know what you're talking about

Food, culture, job opportunities, beauty everywhere, mild winters and blue skies 90% of the year, right on the coast, what do you expect? All that sh*t is expensive. And it’s not to the likes of Austin or Nashville. Population wise. You mention Charleston and people don’t automatically assume Charleston, SC. Still a bit of a gem. But growing like a weed.
