It's pretty alright. But it doesn't feel like it has the *"weight"* of a giant robot transforming from a truck. Feel like a much smaller car transform.
@@IamWone I’m already Christian no need to say that. Also don’t force your religion on others. Just go about your life following the lord. Respect religion.
Your's is better overall but although *I LOVE* your version of the wheels spinning I feel like if you are going to have a transformation that feels( or it sounds actually) hegemonic in terms of hearing high pitch and low pitch sounds the original scene does the wheels job better. Is just my opinion. Also I missed the "chestplate" sound they used but is just because I like it a lot and too as I said, your's is better overall and also makes a better job at giving a sound to each element of what we are seeing( while the original movies sometimes, sometimes, feel like they could add more sounds to the damn big machinery we are seeing on the screen) Great job, I always like your work. Could you do next the "galloway meets optimus" scene? That's a really cool transformation
Thanks, it took me a month to complete this so it's by no means "simple" but I do enjoy the process of trials and errors, trying different types of audio effects and play around with different ideas.
Its cool to see lots of transformers content from your channel! I'm curious about your process, do you have to record the sounds before you impliment them or do you draw from sfx packs? Keep up the good work!
Hey thanks! A lot of the sounds (especially the transformation part for this one) are from a HUGE sound library I purchased, in this project there are approximately 80+ sound tracks being used and edited together, I sometimes record in my own home, but most of those are just Foley.
Without over-explaining: when the foot's lift up I used a combination of hydraulic and motor-turning sounds; and when the foot impact the ground I used more bass-heavy metal impact sound mixed with some metal creaking sound due to the fact that Brawl was pretty beaten up in the scene by the military and the autobots.
Hey, thanks for the feedback! There were indeed a lot of improvements that could have been made with this particular project. For example, I think spatial-mixing was definitely something I could have spent more time refining. But I can’t say that I agree with “the transformation sounds very empty” statement because personally speaking, I would even consider reducing the amount of metal clicks and snaps for the purpose of clarity. While it’s true that Optimus Prime's transformation involves hundreds of metal pieces, not all need to be audibly notable. It's crucial in sound design to ensure that essential sounds don't become lost in the noise, which can overwhelm the audience. For example, at the 0:22 mark where Optimus swings his left arm, and the hand emerges from the arm-piece. I initially included this sound in my draft but removed it to avoid clashing with the foot-stomp sound which plays a more critical role in that moment of the transformation and serves better for the narrative. I think what it comes down to is an artistic point of view about what is considered “too busy” for our ears. I appreciate your perspective, and my intent isn’t to dismiss it but to explain my rationale. Additionally, I wasn't able to fully grasp your feedback without a clear reference point. Are you comparing this sound design to another project or to the original film? Understanding this would be really helpful for future improvement. Nonetheless, I appreciate your feedback and if you wish to discuss more about sound design, I’m all ears.
I think it doesn't really fit Optimus. Maybe if there was a lighter, more assassin like character it would be perfect for them. Overall however, it sounds damn good
It feels like the transformation is like a feather tickling my ears 🪶

Welcome to ASMR

I still prefer the original SFX, but damn dude you get my respect, you should be hired to join the SFX team for Transformers.
Amazing work mate
As Jeremy would say (Top gear)
“I like this”
*original SFX*
“But this… is brilliant”
*your re-design*
Really? the original SFX was worse?
@@Commander_Shepard.
No, that’s why I said “I like this”, because it’s iconic, but I have to say that the re-design sounds great too.
At least, I'm glad you kept the musical score. Literally, one of the few constants of the "Bayformers" movies.
well, I can only say that this sounds wonderful.
making your own version of the iconic tire spinning sound is just 🤌
The honking from Optimus was top notch for me along with the air breaks.
It sounds strong but gentle. Just like Peter Cullen describes Optimus Prime. Well done.
Man, you had the chance to implement the OG transformation sound
I expected this to be horrible but it actually blew me away. It's put together so well that I even subscribed
I love the wheels spinning sound, man
The original will never be replaced, but honestly yours sounds A LOT cleaner
Love the horn.
It felt like a missing piece of the epic puzzle is found!
It's pretty alright. But it doesn't feel like it has the *"weight"* of a giant robot transforming from a truck. Feel like a much smaller car transform.
Nah. If there's one other thing in the Bayverse that Bay did right other than the CGI? It's the damn sound design!
brooooo it's so cool congrats i like it
The Optimus robot transformed
ooo i really like the sound of the wheels
Holy shit this is good. Can i use this for transformers stop motions?
Really satisfying😊
when you want relax and watch tf this is the best version to transform them into asmr❤
That is amazing!!
Prefer the OG still. It has more impact and feels and sounds amazing, but your work is good too!
Based subscribed bc of Bayformers content
Very nice
Optimus Prime after transforming: Megatron!

You!!!! Xd
0:00-0:01 that sound!!!!😊😊😊😊
BRO THIS IS SO GOOD! I’m goin to use this sound in my stop motion if that’s fine with you. This is phenomenal! Just subscribed because this is amazing
Thanks a lot for the love and support, good luck with your stop motion project!

Thanks for the support! Unfortunately I'm currently working on other commitments overseas, but I will keep your scene suggestion in mind!
Sorry to ruin your day but the transformation sounds more like something for bumblebee not for a larger character like optimus

Dude that was awesome! Hey how difficult is it to edit all that in? Is it simple? Complicated? I’d like a rundown.
Thanks, it took me a month to complete this so it's by no means "simple" but I do enjoy the process of trials and errors, trying different types of audio effects and play around with different ideas.
Redesign?? This is the actual Movie Sound. I expected to hear the classic transforming Sound.

brain melting sounds
Great job, but it sounds like clock, not like a giant robot. btw it is cool
Эпично!
Do it with jazz jumping on the M1 105mm tank with the 105 sounds
Also is there a version of this without music?
I expected unfunny edit, like minecraft sounds, but got only eargasm
What sounds did you use for the footsteps?

A need Bumblebee and Barricade sounds redesing new sub from México
The air brakes sound right before the transformation was goat.
Not bad but the transformation sounds very empty. Like only a few pieces are moving while we're seeing hundreds
