Did this model have the stiffer M-Sport suspension or the normal base (SE/Sport) suspension as i don't see anything listed on the BMW Configurator for the PHEV? How does the weight feel compared to the xDrive 20i, as i assume that the other model mentioned in comparison was the FWD sDrive version?
No thanks Rebecca used to drive 1 and 3 series BMW's but them days are well gone, as a single driver who needs a big heavy chunky car, which in cornering is not that great according to your own words?
Why waste all that money on that rubbish when you can buy a normal petrol car New or used for a lot less and a lot more fun to drive keep using as long as you can get them as fuel will last a lot longer even when electric cars fully kick in Only buy one when you can't get them anymore
Has anyone ever thought of the question, would you buy a second hand electric vehicle when you could be stuck with a £17k replacement battery bill, ho w do you sell that car on?? Has any of the automobile corporate owners ever thought when people seek other alternatives to cars how do the owners make money & how long before they become broke?? People will not rely on public transport & the last 20yrs has shown us this. Stop this nonsense of electric vehicles that will run out of materials very soon & are too expensive for the minority.
I dont understand, everyone I have asked has said it is great to drive while feeling very quick and sporty to drive on the road Confusion with this reviewer
I'm sure she said in another review that the X2 drove OK, but i believe that may've been the pure internal-combustion powered car (maybe a diesel?). I think being a racing driver that she has a particular sensitivity about such things and this PHEV just felt _lardy_ to her.
WTF??????????????? Did you actually say 6-speed trans? That's Toyota, not BMW. I know you have different models across the pond, but I just turned in an X2 Msport 28i. It was fantastic. 8-sp. 33mpg US. ZERO bodyroll. Boy, between all your diesel models and the anemic petrol engines, I really feel sad for Brits. You get the worst models BMW makes.
Haha! You only get that model as nobody over here buys these things, it's too low rent for the UK market. That engine and transmission is available in the practically identical Mini Countryman JCW (which is also available with a 6 speed manual if you're not a learner driver who can only handle an auto!). You do make me laugh though: We get the 'worst models BMW makes'? You do remember the E36 M3 yeah?
@@GarryMcGovern I get it. Good points. And you get the Ms only in competition, which is really cool. But the X2 doesn't drive like the Mini, at least. I liked the X2, but it wasn't fast enough, even with a 40hp tune and filter. It was rather expensive compared to the X1, but it did drive better.
Yeah it's really disappointing that the 28i model wasn't sold here - EU emissions regs i believe - as that would've been great. We have the M35i model but that's serious cash and the 28i could be more reasonable, but then the 20i is already over-priced! Only the PHEV gets that naff 6-spd (and the 18i manual), the normal _gas_ cars get either a 7-spd DCT (sDrive) or 8-spd TC box (xDrive & diesel models). Did the US models have the sports (M-Sport) suspension?
My Dad has one of these and loves it... he is averaging 90mpg as he plugs it in daily and only drives 10-40 miles per day.
Just ordered one for company use. Great BIK rate.
love that u lifting the power tailgate
I enjoyed watching the Video Review 😊
best bmw ever! all of you saying its bad...just because it costs 60k ;)
Loved the double douse of rebecca’s car reviews this week ! She is very good on wht she does ! Any chance same again next week ?

Hoping the new X1 plugin launched last week is a more comfortable drive..(no demo models until January)
do you pay monthly for the heated seats?
Sory, how much does that model cost
So it's an SUV, but it's not very sporty, leaving it a "UV". But it's not very practical, either. So that just makes it a "V". 🤷♂
Bring back the banana 😀
perfect car , german engineering at it's best
Beautiful woman.
Are you included with the car?❤❤
Not even a digital dash? For that money if you wish to be green Tesla model 3 or Polestar.
We want Morebecca.
she did it again, very beautiful Rebecca
Bit dated now and prefer the new 2 series active tourer. And it’s cheaper
id rather commit fraud than drive a 2 series active tourer

Looks like a niche car, for a niche that never existed. And strangely dated. Can’t see this car being replaced.
Hopefully one upside to all these interest rate increases is that cars like this and stupid SUVs in general will start to finally die out
I'd rather drive a nail in to my own foot than this godawful thing.
God it really is a hateful thing isn’t it
😂 I bet you are a real blast on a night out.

Nope, but thanks for your input.
I’m sure the Badge Bunnies will all be over this car, whilst most people will see it as a crap design from a tedious company 0/10
It's a no from me. 520e.

But the new MG4 is amazing...... says everyone ever in UA-cam land.... don't let minor concerns like your excellent point get in the way 😉
It's dated and a sales flop
Looks like a semi/SUV/crossover that doesn't fit anywhere good.
Good review, but awful car.
Small, small, small.
But not the price.......
It sucks.

Bmw makes some seriously ugly vehicles

The car is UGLY. Overated for the price 👎👎👎👎
Very old car
