Passing years make this series more covert fact than fiction. Great character development and superb scripts. Cruises to a satisfying conclusion with some heartbreak along the way. First appearance of beautiful Belgian Malinois.
James Caviezel is criminally underrated as an actor. Each of his characters is nuanced, passionate, and intense, but there is always an inherent vulnerability about him. I think Hollywood gave him the snub for two reasons. One, he is an example of a stoic actor, one who needs not make a spectacle of himself to remain in the public eye. Two, he is a very religious man, a Christian who is unshakable in his faith in God. I really hope that his newest film gives him the glory he has always deserved.

Shaw takes Bear with her and catches up to the team with Logan Pierce and works with Harper. John Reese is gone now except as flashbacks in Shaw's memory to help her be a better person even as her sniper skills improve - or is he really dead?! And we still have Root as the computer voice.... And then we can even weave this into reality a little bit as we discover schemes to rig elections outside the US that have dangerous implications inside the country.... OH how much fun this would be to write! But I don't work for free, so....!
I’d 100% agree with you if I wasn’t soo pumped for Micheal Keaton’s return to the role as old man batman. Jim would for sure be my second choice though.
Still the best show of its type ever made and Jim "Mr. Reese" Cavizel is the straight up man! And Finch is the most knowledgeable person when it comes to knowing how people work

Loved the first 3 seasons ... lost track after that. But IMHO Jim Caviezel and Michael Emerson had awesome character-chemistry. I'm not really a crime-drama addict but I really liked these plots.

Its also interesting to note, Finch didnt have his goons guarding him or waiting on hand. After a few seconds, John seems to realise which is why he backs off. I suspect they wrote it as John testing to see if Finch had them waiting.

POI had heart, which made this masterpiece stand above the rest. Looking back from now, AI used by Finch sounded almost like the "Q" of nowadays.
