Great show, great discussion… wish they had shows like this. The only one I can say is almost like this is real time with bill Maher but he talks too much
Yes he does talk too much and he believes all his liberal ideas are better than some conservative ideas. And that's definitely not the case I don't see why we just can't have a mix of both ideas in the government so the majority of us can somewhat get along. Because obviously not all conservative ideas are good but not all liberal ideas a good either and we are seeing that right now in real time

Racism exists everywhere..white on white, white on black. black on white, black on black. People can try to justify their prejudice....but it is simple prejudice. The influence on culture by immigrants is an phenomenon....skin colour or no skin colour....immigration affects culture. Fact. These are valid talking points. If you don't want the influence of another culture upon your own...that doesn't make you a racist as you may adore the culture of the the people that are changing the culture of your country by their immigration, but simply see that inclusion of culture into the culture of your homeland as far too affecting in National Identity. For example I don't hate Somalis...but if Somalis immigrated into my country and wanted to have road signs written in Somali, wanted menus written in Somali....it is too much of an invasion into the National Identity of this nation....it doesn't make me a racist to fight against that....
I agree with much of what you say. I think the Spanish language influence has become at times overwhelming, especially in places like California where I live, and if you go to Miami for example you don’t even realize you’re in an English speaking country at times..I think it just becomes too much when so many immigrants of one race set up shop but don’t truly assimilate and want everything similar to what they had at home especially the language. It isn’t like the old days where you would want to learn English now there’s not as much incentive because of the sheer numbers make it unnecessary -I know a lot of Spanish-speaking people who literally have no intention of even trying to learn English and now we have everything catering to them as you can see in the drivers license test, voting ,and recordings when you call companies so we have made it too easy in many respects
It’s only racist if it props up the myth of race - the idea that there are different races of humanity and that there are any meaningful distinctions between groups of people that are determined by their skin color. What you’re describing is xenophobia - and yes, what you’re saying is xenophobic. But there is a distinction between xenophobia and racism, though they can often go hand in hand.
@@eileen1820Yes they are. Obviously they are the real victims historically and today. These poor people had to segregate and presumptiously colonize the world to be safe from the violent world.
The Democrat Governor was far tougher than any democrat alive today. He wasn’t the least bit scared whereas Biden or Newsom would’ve kneeled for Jim Brown lol 😂
He was certainly racist however he was generally right with his points. Being white we're not allowed anymore to have our own homogeneous societies as that is "racist". Malcolm X, Marcus Garvey - most black intellectuals also thought we should be segregated. But the rulers want us at each others throats, instead of looking at wall street or the bankers.
While I don't think he was a white supremacist. I certainly can see how his thoughts on forced integration/segregation may suggest that he was to a liberal minded person. He was thrusted into the national limelight as a white supremacist while defending that ideology, but his record in office would suggest otherwise. Oh and he was very clear on his stance that EVERY citizen of the US has equal constitutional rights, regardless of race. Anyways, we all only hear and think what we want to. That's human nature.
No offense intended, but isn't that called Whataboutism? Steering a conversation to a different subject is an obvious way of dodging a discussion everyone else is having. I mean, I keep hearing how women don't earn as much as men. But, why aren't we talking about how rich Oprah is? 🤔
Because sexism wasn’t important anymore because women were free maybe there was discrimination but not at the level of racist discrimination one problem at a time

Rest in peace Jim Brown. A true iconic figure.
RIP Governor Maddox, if only we listened to his warnings
One helluva discussion. If only more shows would do the same
Well they can’t anymore because people realized what a disaster integration is…
The governor is such a weird character from another era.
Splendid observation.
The governor is the father/grandfather of some of your current politicians. He is extraordinarily current, not from “another era.”

Do tell. Where’s the logic in racism? It’s a completely unfounded ideology.
