- I have had some viewers reach out with a desire to help. John #1 came for a week and John #2 came for a day. All this help allowed us to stack the NUDURA upper pool forms in 2 days. @letsdig18 stops by to inspect the lower pool and pickup the mini excavator. Josh is back in town to help out. We are counting down the days till we pour the ICF basement and the Negative edge ICF pool. Instructions arrive from www.all3pools.com and @all3pools

John is awesome. He had the assembly process nailed (or screwed) down! 😂
John 1 had assembly down pat and it didn't take John 2 any time at all to get up to speed. Nice seeing Jackie, Chris, & Robert. As well as Josh, Tater, Donnie, & James. The house is taking great shape, Geoff. Thanks for sharing.
👍👍👍
“Repo-ing Strawberry Shortcake! Lolol” too funny
I would really like to see the plumbers doing all the pipe work for the pool, all going into the pool house for the pump. Have a good day Jeff, been enjoying to watch the whole build process.
I'll definitely show that. Thanks
Also, I forgot to mention, want to see wiring of the pool and the mansion, too. As much footage as you can get, Mr. Jeff Bealy Good.
It’s easier to see how the pool(s) will interact with the house. The “shallow” pool is deeper than I expected (which I like).. I can’t wait to see that waterfall flowing. 🥳🙌🏼
Of all the content on this video, I was elated to see that you had a Buccee's hat on! They've got the best cinnamon rolls in the world!
I thought you were making all the pool levels the same height and were adding to the lower pool. Looks awesome Jeff. Great too see you having fun with the help.
John got to make all the mistakes that come with learning something new on the pool so when it comes time to do his own project he can minimize the f-ups. Great music!!
My brother reckons that evolution works quicker than Mr Bealy Good.. I reckon it's neck and neck :)
It’s close
Just like a fine wine…🍷
No harm meant. Love your vids. Can't wait to see the end product. Had a heart attack recently so just hope I'm still around to see it. Keep up the good work. If I had a pond like that I would want a mansion next to it aswell. And sharks with laser beams
Starting to look like something now Geoff !! lololol... Going to be NICE... Have a great Evening Man !!
Looking good! That damn pool is gonna hold almost as much water as the pond😂
Thanks Geoff, this massive project is coming together quickly. Soon you'll be ready for the next pour.
Shaping up, looking good. Soon it will be Strongbacks and Whalers!
You mentioned in a recent video about laying in your concrete in shallow pours, to give your mix time to slake, and spacing your trucks an hour-ish apart. At that rate the concrete place may need to close before you get done. Also, the lesson we learned from the footer pour is that the pumper needed to reposition because there was no 'one place' he could set up to reach it all. Where I'm going with this is to please consider 2 pumpers from the outset and have 2 placement crews. Also in concrete pouring etiquette, always pour your lowest concrete 1st, and build uphill from there. There is a very good reason for this. If concrete runs downhill, the water and fines will run ahead of the coarser aggregate, setting you up for weak places there, and possible honey combing where the coarser aggregate is left behind. I guess my masonry schooling (and experience) is showing through again. Anyway, you do you and we'll watch, and it will be a learning experience for everyone.
Thanks for sharing.
That’s good info. I’ve been considering 2 trucks. Thanks 😊
Hey Jeoff , when I was 40 I had to build some sliding storm doors they were stock size very light weight, 20 lbs. per panel 220 panels and frames(the frames usually went out K.D. but customer requested fully assembled) Me and a 19 year old "anything you can do I can do better" found out he was wrong. We worked starting at Monday morning 6 AM till 7 AM Tuesday they bought us meals ,no sleep till Tues. night . The young man found out what "Around the clock really meant", funny thing is 5 years later he also found his weak back we did the same type of job with 165 lbs panels there was only a hundred but we gottem done in 24 hours. He pulled a back muscle he was 25 and resilient but he was puny, I was 45 and man mountain and hungry for overtime, he just needed a good work record he quit and went to Arizona to be a mason tender for a year then came back and helped his dad load trucks.
22:23 I knew it! You've been keeping Chris in a pit this whole time when he's not running the machines!
That Mr Bealy is non less than a incredible build !!
11:35 "The Boss is in the house" .... you boys are in trouble now 🤣
Wasn't John your volunteer? He really is getting good on the "assembly line". Everything looking great falling into place. Thanks for the aerials and music. Have a great week.
Yes. Thanks 😊
According to the video the freight van set there for 3 days! That is service! - lol
Love it! Poor Chris, so mean to him lolololol… Got to say I loved the Bluegrass music and all that you do, Hi to Everyone hope Liz is well ❤❤❤❤
Puts the lotion on the skin, LOL. Many Johns at the house. Great progress guys.
Dang that is going be a mansion. It all makes sense now I will admit I was confused
But I'm old had a stroke. I got the vision now can't wait for some lumber going up
Be safe Geoff. 😊😊
Friends are way better than money. Although Chris will be sending a bill monthly! Lol
it's really looking good 👍👍👍👍👍
I just want to say that expanded styrene does a very good impersonation of a house fire a neighbor decided to burn scraps after insulating his home, he kind of forgot to get a burn permit not that they would have approved the foam but getting fined for just burning foam not to bad , having 2 fire departments show up at your house wellll he got spanked preeeetty bad. Lesson learned. Just thought I would pass that along, wink wink.
Oh look at that progress! It’s really really taking shape! I still can’t believe that’s your basement and the grade goes up from there!!
Q: do you attach the footer plastic sheeting to the foam? I know you covered that before but I forgot.
Quoting Looney Tunes makes me smile!
Yes. It gets attached to the foam. Thanks 😊
Great music - as always
Hi Jeff, at first you were just a guy with a lot of money to spend. I watched all of Criss' work on the pond.
But you like hard work, and that puts you in a whole different category of guys with a lot of money to spend.
Great progress with all the help. I like the fact you have a copy of all the important docs in an archive. I do similar things.
Again spot on a great watch keep them coming I get more impressed every video thanks for sharing Jeff 👍👋🇨🇦
Make a TimeCapsule for your house.
Only fun filled adventure if you enjoy building. For the rest of us ugh! Love the results tho.
amazing work on the pools and the deck coming out meet pool that is absolutely amazing job you guys did congratulations to get this far can't wait for the next video
The Building from the Pond Sector two make good progress. In short Time can the Congrete filling to Result. Gladden my of Your next Videos from this great to mean. Greeting from Austria
By the way.
Great tunes !
Geoff looks great! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Great update as always bro, some nice work by everyone involved. Cameos by Chris, Robert and Josh too. Safe travels. Ken.
Sir Stacks alot. 😊
I'm in Tennessee, or I'd come help! Of course I would then need a key to the pool gate🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That pool is going to be deep!!!
WOW ❤❤❤Great comments for a great vidio. dave
Ooh la lala come and see me make me smile 👌👍
That's a lotta lego in this build. Reinforcing the ledge wall between the two pools seems critical.
Bracing goes on last but yes, will definitely be using all of it
Another great vid. Also 23:10 Hoyt Axton man he was a good singer/story teller.
Geff as always enjoyed the progress you'se guys made ! Pour day is gonna be exciting to say the least !!
You made another new friend. You are truly blessed.
Build going well! Question, have you shown how the ends of the forms are sealed to stop the concrete pouring out?
The concrete is intended to come out the bottom.
Love the books you put together.
When Chris talked about the deep pool 'rising up' it reminded me that they do make boats out of concrete. It sounds counterintuitive, but if you displace enough volume, even concrete is going to float. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Concrete_ship
Mr. Bealey I thought you were doing a glass panel between the two pools instead of concrete.
No. That was suggested by a couple of people. The thickness of the panel combined with costs made me not even consider it. Would have been cool though.
I see what you are doing with the common pool wall now. Thanks for sharing.
It’s really coming together! There appears to be a lot of mathing going on there!
Big big Geoff love the videos
Mr Bealy, I'm looking for some of the musical guests you have show cased in the last 10 days. My assumption is that the titles were, Keep It Moving" and "Don't Forget Where You Came From". I have a buddy getting married soon, these might pair well.
Peace!
I get all my music from Musicbed dot com
It just gets better and better.👍
Looking great sir.
For the person who said i was wrong for thinking this build felt more like a learning process more than entertainment.I love this channel but we should be able to share are opinion. Have a JT good day on purpose.
Also wanted to share with you that I been fighting stomach cancer for the last two months and severe Liver issues. I am 54 and have no family left. I get scared and lonely but you and your videos keep me going, with Chris videos to. I truly thank you for helping me feel like I'm apart of something. Much love JT! Bless you and your family.
Might have been me…if so, either accept my apology (I’m sorry) or ignore me altogether. Even if it wasn’t me….same solution works just fine. Keep kicking cancer in the balls and make it accept that you will not stop until those mutant cells get back in line. 💪
Love the banjo!
looking awesome Jeff
It's looking absolutely amazing Geoff!
That’s awesome! Progress!
Bravo
Awesome looking forward to seeing you finish this build .
Nice it's gooding to be Great. Thanks
Enjoyed, once again.
what is the purpose of those little feet?? by the upper pool?? I LOVE the song, " who you share it with". Who sings it??BTW the pool is coming along, when do you think you will be doing another pour??
The feet are to space up the form for the concrete to flow into the floor
The FastFoot legs on the interior of the pool must remain. Are they cut flush to the slab? Are they embedded in the wall concrete but exposed? How is that dealt with when finishing the interior of the pool?
Cut flush. Covered up when filling all those little holes. There will be a whole video on it
Is the orange shirt (at roughly 12:15) also your plumber? 😳😂
🤣🤣 yup. lol. I meant to cut some of that. Oops
Slow and steady wins the race I guess 😂. Is the sump pump still been pumping out a steady stream so your dungeon does float out of the ground? 😂
Jeff..... Quick question on the wall between the upper pool and the lower pool.... Why is the Styrofoam on the wall facing the lower pool.... how does that become a finished concrete wall on the lower pool side.....Just curious.....Thanks
Stone
Looking good.
Question: Is the ICF foam part tough enough to be on the live edge as it's potentially going to get knocks and wear after it's coated/lined etc or does it not matter? I get that at that level it's good to have a thermal break for the main pool as it's above ground but I honestly thought it would need to be straight concrete for the live edge and to match up on the drop pool.
It gets stone faced
@@BealyGood Ahh, I must have missed when you said that, thank you for unpickling my head :)
Commander Foreman McBragging Bealy: "I'm going to go build a fire somewhere."....most likely at one of the conscript viewer laborer's homes that up and quit on me yesterday, they caught me in the back of the head with a tomato on the way out. ~Looks over to the listening John Bros~ "You Juan's are safe........for now, CHOP-CHOP, J-Homies." (John1 beat me to the Haney-esque ploy of charging free labor to work for you, I was ready to post that) That wasn't a doppelganger/Bealyganger, that was a Haneyganger.
It's not a moat, it's a wraparound koi pond
question where is the diving board going to be ? and will you have 2 boards a 1 meter and a 3 meter?
Not sure yet
Next spec house you need to put a pool on an island with a lazy river running back on a peninsula or a bridge to the house .
Question: Could you put a board on the inside of the deep pool half lapped up the waterfall side of the upper pool? Would it be possible to build the waterfall wall with ply on both sides?
I plan to lap the plywood. I could do ply on both sides but I don’t want to. I want the insulation. It will have rock on the waterfall.
Why wasn't the a joining wall between the two pools not done with a wood form on both sides at least where the water fall section is? What covers the foam on the deep pool side and will it stay put for years to come??
Stone
So you don’t need the plastic liner under the wall joining the mechanical room?
No because that will get a concrete floor eventually
I guess you're going to leave the flat plate compactor as a piece of abstract pool art.
That lower pool is bigger then my whole house lol
📢 HEY CHRIS, WE NEED A MOAT❗️😅😂🤣
😂😂
👍
Hope stands up to tornados
If anything will stand up to one, this house will!
Shouldn’t negative edge side have wood on both sides vice icf on one side since its face will be viewed on both sides?
The ICF side gets rock
Curious, shouldn't the live edge of the pool be ply on both sides?
Overlap the bottom piece of ply down 12"+ into the lower pool as a brace.
No. But I am overlapping it. First layer of ply is for the ledge for the rock
I was wondering about the lip the ply would make on the join between the 2
you forgot "repo man" in the credits :D
Dang it.
Lets pour some concrete
Uh oh, the real boss is here.
I was think’n that, cipher’n & figure’n *was* math, but………..
Doesn't the infinity wall need plywood on both the 4' side and the deep pool as both sides will be visible!
No. The deep pool side gets rock
isn't that pressed wood? if it is, im not sure it will burn with all that glue in it.
No. It’s plywood
Dont you need plywood on both side between pools
No
Explain!
@@rcepas The side facing the pond gets rock on the face
@@BealyGood OK thank you
Dog Dog and the Duck Mafia don't get in the credits anymore, they're not going to like that?
👋👋
seems like it takes so much longer using this system
I'm guessing you have never had a gunite pool built. We just put all the forms together in 2 days.
@@BealyGood awesome my bad carry on lol
Chris does 7 to 7 😂
Have you got permission from Chris to burn on this site… you know Chris is your tame pyromaniac 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
