- 2022 Runaway Rangerrunner Decorating Mods!
Time to start working on the INSIDE of the 2022 Runaway Rangerunner Camper!
Pam has some great ideas for decorating the Runaway Camper and a color scheme picked out! She is excited to get started painting!
Mark will be working on creating some custom trim to place the LED indirect lighting in! This same trim will be used as the "curtain rod" for the curtains Pam will be sewing!
Come along as we show you how we did it!
The total cost for these decorating mods was right at $175! We did not have to purchase the gray base paint nor the yellow trim paint as we already had those on hand. Mark used three 12' pieces of this trim to fashion the LED lighting trough:

I love the way they did their lighting and have all their wiring hidden and all the painting inside and everything looks so professionally done.

Excellent job with the LED. Most people don’t understand what true cove lighting is. 👏🏽 with the decor it’s one of the most inviting spaces I’ve seen.

Love it! How did the paint hold up? What type of paint base did you use (acrylic, water-based latex)?

Absolutely LOVE the lighting system with the indirect lighting. I had a RangeRunner and downsized to a Cool Camp. I'm thinking of doing the same system as you did here using the trim molding. Pam, how did you hang the curtains? Are they on hooks from the upper trim? I want to put curtains in as well. Your finished look is wonderful! 🙂
So glad the ideas are helpful to ya! I did include a link to the trim that I used in the description if ya wanna use the same thing. Pam says yes she used curtain hooks she found at Walmart and you are correct they are hanging from the upper trim! They slide nicely out of the way or over the windows and easy to remove if needed. The curtains were made from two 84” x 37” room darkening panels that were cut to size. Are there any magnetic surfaces around the door? I'm wanting to get an ARB ( or the like) awning and room for our RangeRunner and I'm trying to figure out how to seal off around the door since we're not seamstressess(ess?) I thought maybe if theres any magnetic surface, I could just clamp it down with some good magnets.
IF not, maybe some like you added to keep the door open would work! I just really want to avoid adding any holes to ours, especially the exterior.
I believe all the metal on the doors is aluminum. Hope that helps with your planning!
