I respect your willingness to live on the edge....just in case you didn't know, several states have enacted laws about license plate frames which state "No part of any writing on any licensing plate may be covered, in part or in whole. This shall include any vehicle registered in this state, or any other state."! You can thank law enforcement for this....
Nice mods! Thank you for showing the wiring detail, very helpful. I plan to order mine without that rear strip, thus avoiding all the holes in the bottom of the camper. It is in an odd location anyway, and not needed. Do you find the height of the camper to be too short? I think an extra 6" would make a huge difference in comfort.
Super glad the video was helpful to ya! For the height is perfectly fine! I am 5’ 10” and I can comfortably sit on the bed without my head hitting the ceiling. Our bed top is approximately 13” from the floor of the camper and then my weight would compress that down to probably 10” or so if that helps ya any! I actually prefer the lower profile for ease of setup and towing.
@@TheRunawayGang That information is very helpful, thank you. I am trying to decide between the smaller Coolcamp, or the Rouser! Ideal would be 5Wx8Lx5H but doubt they will ever make that size.
@@chivasmom2024 Glad that was helpful to ya! Sounds like maybe the rouser might suit ya better then. No concerns about height with that one! Blessings!
I don't consider the rubber license plate frame flimsy - it is that way on purpose so when you most assuredly hit your plate on something it just deflects out of the way.
Ha ha ha! I actually tried several things to get the sticky off. The stickers themselves came off ok but left a sticky residue behind. Between isopropyl alcohol and goof off and some elbow grease I got it off!

Hey Old School! Thanks for the tip! I was completely unaware of that! Thanks for dropping by!

Did this mod violate your warranty?

Hey thanks for dropping by and sharing your thoughts! Much appreciated! Always good to have different takes on the same thing! You make a valid point!
I see you are from NC. Me too! I'm looking to get me one of these spring of this coming year!
Hey Colt! Where in NC? We are thrilled with our little runaway! So glad ya stopped by!
What did you use to remove the range runner sticker?

@@TheRunawayGang thanks. I’m about to attempt it with mine
Go for it!
