I was born and raised in Fremont MI and this ladie's drawning was an incredible reminder of everything in our area! I had a Gerber Baby Doll as a kid that looked like her (as a baby) to a T. I used to play at the Gerber mansion with a friend who's mother worked there. Later, as an adult, I worked in engineering at the plant for a while until I moved out of state. I still don't live back home anymore, but I always remember all these things about growing up there whenever I see that baby face :)

OZOBIEUSA1 She taught and retired from Hillsborough High School in Tampa, Florida. Yes she let us know when we did whose who? I was a teen parent she signed my yearbook and autographed my daughter's Gerber picture. She was very sweet and a great teacher.
What a beautiful lady - her entire family was stunningly gorgeous. I'm wondering why they picked this scratchy hoarse sounding woman to report this story? I thought the whole point of being a TV reporter/narrator, etc was a pleasant, well modulated voice. I couldn't even finish the video because her voice was so awful.
My mother will never put that stuff in our mouth although she is from Austria ( 84 years old now). I remember when I was a child (60 years ago), she prepared my younger siblings food from natural ingredients in the kitchen (cooking and blended or sieved) claiming that when the "manufacturers" make the baby food they have to process it at very high temperatures to get it to have a shelf life. When they do this it takes most of the nutrutional value out of the food. Not to mention that it takes all of the flavor out of it as well (it tastes terrible.) I believe she was right.
If it removed all of the the nutritional value from the food, all of the babies who only ate this as their sole nutrition would have become malnourished and died. Not to mention all of the people suffering from different illnesses who exist solely from eating baby food. Maybe your mom had a lot of free time to do this for you, but it wasn't necessary.
Girl, she was so cute as a baby and as a granny and so beautiful as a young woman, rest in peace sweet lady, you will be forever iconic
