Very clear except there are stitches that are made with one st through 1/2 the chain .. the and others through both chains on last row. I don't think I explained it well. I would suggest just watching the hook very carefully. You'll see the difference. It's a beautiful easy blanket t

There is no specific size, depend on yarn thickness and hook size it varies, use any blanket roughly to measure the length, make foundation chain to that measured length and continue to work your pattern, hope it helps👍🙏

This is known as the crunch stitch. Many others give it a different name. Very easy and beautiful. Makes beautiful baby blankets.
