Fact is both teams played great but Spurs never put a foot wrong in this game. Their forward play was almost unplayable and they knew how to stop every Man City play and Vicario was just on fire
Believe in Ange. Imagine Ange with Spurs in 2 years. Unbeatable. Alot of Spurs fans can't see the obvious progress, and also the fact Ange needs more time to bring in more of hs type players, of which most are bargains by the way. As an Australian that supports Chelsea but tbh I'm following Spurs more while Ange is there, just Believe in him. He's so incredible. Believe me, if Spurs fans push him out he'll find another big club very quickly and you'll be right back where you started. Just be more patient. Huge Respect to Chris for being so patient and positive
Us Spurs fans have had it surprisingly too good for too long, so we've forgotten what a painful rebuild looks like. People look at Poch almost winning the league in his 2nd and 3rd seasons as if that's where we should be at - but he inherited a team that was already on that trajectory (and several other teams that were having their own rebuilds or downward turns, City/Liverpool/Utd/Arsenal), and yes he brought in great new players, Dele, Son, Eriksen, but he walked into an immense back line - Lloris, Walker, Rose, Vertongen, he had Dembele and a team that only a few years earlier had future x5 and x6 UCL winners, Bale and Modric. He had Harry Kane arriving in the first team the season before he arrived. He had a lot to work with and a lot of youth. Ange walked into an aging team with a Harry Kane who wanted out, a Sonny who'd just had his worst season, we'd finished our lowest in 13 years. Dier, Sanchez, Ndombele all past their primes. Kulusevski playing out of position, Bissouma already considered a flop - he's change it around in 18 months where on our day we can literally beat anyone. You can't watch a game like that City game and tell me Real Madrid or Bayern Munich would have fared much better.
Spurs controlled the match after the first 10mins. Sure Haaland might have scored but he DIDN'T!Vicario made sure of that, yes he hit the bar but the one other shot he might have scored,Ben Davies blocked. Davies+Dragusin were terrific, give them SOME credit! It passes me off that nobody is giving Spurs the credit they deserve. NO TEAM could've lived with us the way we played WITHOUT VDV,ROMERO, BENTANCUR, ODOBERT,MOORE......so City had a few out....WE DID TOO!
@@Michael-td3gz I agree. Son, Solanke, and Kulusexy could have scored. The point I was trying to make is that City also had chances and were not clinical on the day.
Stay humble ehh? Haaland is a great player but you could tell the game before last when he scored, he had 1 or 2 players celebrate with him. He needs to win the team back. COYS what a performance
Totts defense & Goalkeeper were exceptional they did not get one two three chances in a row which limte 5:51 d them I noticed too city, looked a step slower.
Think “good” is massive understatement. When was the last time City lost at home in the league? When was the last time a Pep side lost 4-0 at home? You still think Ange hasn’t got what it takes? You also said he’ll be gone by end of October! 😂😂😂
Pep is still a brilliant coach & tactically one of the very best in the world! Everything went Spurs’ way & nothing went Man City’s way. Games play out that way at times! On another day Man City should have been 2-0 up before Spurs even had a sniff at goal! Ange knows he got the rub of the green today, massively. Man City will still finish way ahead of Ange’s haphazard Spurs!
Fact is Vicario did very well. GK had a big impact on the game. Those are the fine details.
@PowerChord-p3u "Goalkeeper played well 🥴" is not, in fact, a fine detail.

Spurs attack were Men on fire most chances they got they buried them conveniently

Another Aussie Chelsea fan here bro. Massive fan of Ange for a very long time. Hate it that he’s gonna make Spurs winners, cos he will.

I'm a Spurs fan but it's obvious that City created many chances. Just not clinical on the day.
Haaland could have scored a couple
Spurs could easily have 2 or 3 more goals

City played a typical spurs game.... plenty of possession and plenty of chances created.. they just didn't score... it happens... ( to us alot) lol
Pep talks in riddles-basically, if he can't spend millions on the best players, or if he has to deal with injuries like Spurs have, he's lost..
Vicario is MOTM!
Na James maddison for me, or kulusevski.
Stay humble ehh?

Could easily have been 5-5, anyway game of the decade!
😂😂😂😂
Not one of his answers made any sense.
Got torn apart
City were poor… The Tiny Tots were good…

Steve Harris are you AI-generated?
