Vic, you were outstanding on Sunday and it showed not just your quality but you also showed what you are willing to go through for our shirt. You will be a massive loss, and I hope you recover as quickly as possible. Cheers Chris. COYS
Vicario’s performance against Man City was already heroic. Now that we know he played 60 minutes with a broken ankle, I believe that it can be the catalyst to inspire the team to glory. Reserve keeper(s) will step up and do us proud. Vicario will be out for 3 months and then come home for our barnstorming run home.
Mercy, he had probably his best game ever, and now this. I wish him well and a speedy recovery!! We are going to have problems if Forster is in goal. Let's hope Austin gets the start.
Vic has been outstanding and we will miss him. Its not all doom and gloom. Forster is a bit Like Ben Davies, have a little faith. Also its the perfect time to start giving our younger keepers game tiime. Its a shame but also a perfect time to work out who is out cover player.
its not a case of being unlucky. Playing at a much higher intensity leads to more injuries because impacts are harder, you stretch more, you do things you wouldnt normally do (in the moment). To play at this intensity in the prem we will have to put up with high injury lists and have a large enough squad to cope.
Yes and that’s what Ange has been working on, getting his players fit enough to play his system. I’d say Vics was incidental. I wonder if it was when Porro headed back to him and he collided with city player falling awkwardly?
Bs that is, if it was true the worst teams that defend the whole pitch the whole game would be the worst injured clubs. Crystal Palace for one run harder than our guys do and ontop got no credit for beating us.
We beat Man City without Romero and van de Ven, Davies and Dragu played well as a pairing and Davies actually speeds us up in transition, he did so against Villa as well so let's see how we go COYS!!!!
Karma must hate hate us, for being so happy at the clean sheet. At least we have a surplus of backup ,no fear squads got it covered ? Another setback and get well soon for Venom !
Do not fear. I dont think there is a huge difference in the goalkeepers abilities. Vicario is faster and a good keeper but he also does daft stuff occasionally when playing out of the back. He often looks like one of those fake furry spiders on an elastic band from corners or set piece dead ball crosses. Other than doing amazing acrobatic saves he is also great and acting as a sweeper keeper, but forster can also do that too with relative ease, just slower.
Fraser Forster will bring a different dynamic ,no doubt, as do all the players in the squad. Adjustment here and there in defense positions taken up, maybe pairing with different players from the squad that would suit Fraser's dynamic. He is an absolutely capable goal keeper. Will probable need a little time and space to adjust to the pace of the game ( as they all do when coming in).Have a good one Fraser !
When all the commentators could talk about for the last several minutes of the first half was that Vicario won't be able to continue. How could people on the sidelines not see that? And how was he not assessed at half time? I think we take to many risks leaving players out on the pitch when they clearly have an injury. Fingers crossed he's back sooner than expected
Because the people in charge of making the decisions aren't paid to talk nonsense. Vic made some great saves in the second half, he was fine to continue..he knew it, Ange knew it, the med staff knew it. Adrenaline works and the foot wasn't going to fall off if he continued playing. Taking vic off at 2-0 could have been disastrous. Good decision by all involved
The fact is that the quality gap between Vicario and Forster is too big. Why did the club not sign another goalkeeper who's good enough to step in without too much concern?

Playing with a broken bone at rhe etihad and kept a clean sheet, what a man playing for the shirt.

Let’s all put our support behind Austin and Frazer, we need them and they need us!
Vic you are legend mate, get well soon we need ya.
I so do hope that he gets a lot better very soon. Get well VIC.😢😢😢❤❤
Does this mean we can add Spence to the Euro squad?
Wish you the best & a speedy recovery Vic
Unbelievable 😢
Poor Vic. Tottenham are the unluckiest team in the PL.

On the first day of Jan, we should bring in a new goalkeeper.
It’s a must noq
Just never rains but pours at Spurs Vicario hoping for a speedy recovery..
wishing him a very speedy recovery

We need to buy another quality keeper like Vic in the Jan window for sure.
Anyone in mind?
I heard somewhere Keylor Navas was a free agent
Not too many quality keepers willing to sit on the bench
disaster. cant get any momentum with the squad with injuries
As soon as Odegaard returns for Arsenal, Vicario is out for Spurs. What a coincidence, eh?

Vic-tor❤ get well ❤️🩹 soon !!🙌
As resilient as Vicario has been for Spurs, we will get through this. Outscore the opposition. Speedy recovery
Sure, bad news; next man up. You only have to look at what Davies and Drugusin did against Man City.

Hopefully people will lay off Davies, always gives 100 percent

Sorry, i'd have to disagree. Forster is good, Vicario is elite.

a real warrior.
What a disaster

January window....goalkeeper please 🙏
👍👍👍
Spurs have one of the worst medical staffs in professional sports.
And how would a better medical staff have stopped him breaking his foot halfway through a game?
He should be captain
Bert Trautman played with a broken neck mate.
Now we screwed 😂
Will this mean the end for Ange . Good chance will lose games now 😅
Tottenham Hospital FC
Please play Austin, i like Fraser but his reaction time is slow asf.
What was the incident that caused the injury?
I would think Poro's Back pass...
@@thomasandrewmorgan1835damned back passes to goalkeeper. Thank you. I was overseas so I missed the game.
I think he broke it went he down and then make it worse with blocking haaland goal attemp in the second half
