and can I show animated graphics, a die with a transparent background? do I edit the graphics during the broadcast? Software for graphics connected to a switcher, as with other manufacturers

good afternoon, we bought roland v-60hd please tell me how to connect the source to the input of the rgb / component? "thought VGA is possible, but it does not work. we need to connect from the laptop to roland. since other xdmi inputs are already occupied by other sources

Trying to figure out if this allows transparency for flying in lower 3rds. Our Tricaster accepts png files and recognizes the alpha channel. How does that work with bmp files?
It doesn't take transparent files in natively, but the downstream key can perform either a luma key or chroma key. You can set your DSK to be a still image that you've loaded in, or you can set it to one of your SDI or HDMI inputs if you're running a separate live graphics program.
I am trying to get a video switcher for our church. Does the Roland V 60HD have the capability to do text graphics titles as the pastor preaches? Also, I want to be streaming live on youtube and facebook. Can you show me how to configure that?
and can we use vr-4hd for large halls? there are no sdi inputs
The VR-4HD could be good for some uses, but large halls wouldn't be one of them unless you used HDMI to SDI converters. We think the V1-SDI or V60hd or VR-50HD are better for that purpose (and own, use, rent, and sell all of them)
Directly it is possible to connect to a laptop? without an adapter. for example hdmi to hdmi laptop?
Azat Akmatov There aren't any computers that take video in for streaming without an adaptor unless the video switcher has a USB port that acts like a USB webcam. The VR series of switchers from Roland all support this feature. For all other switchers you will need a video capture device like a Magewill, inogeni, Blackmagic or Epiphan.

The VR-50HD is a flagship product and has built in scaling on ALL inputs and outputs. This acts like a "Swiss Army Knife" for video. It also has a built in audio mixer for smaller projects. We LOVE this product, but being able to buy almost 2ea V-60HD's for the same price makes it a better fit for most people.
Lovely, but I noticed some dropped frames roughly 8 minutes and 30 seconds in. Any idea what might be causing it?
Likely UA-cam, recording we did here is perfect.

Azat Akmatov the v60hd is a great value, but for attaching it to your computer you'll need a thunderbolt or USB capture device from blackmagic or magewell or inogeni or the like. You can see options at our livestreamingstore.com
For a usb3 enabled switcher, we LOVE the VR50HD from Roland. Lots more features but pricier too. Excellent switcher.

Yes! That's best done by a PC - just connect the switcher's USB3 port to a Mac or PC!

Can you explain in more detail how to connect v60hd to a PC laptop for broadcast?
We will do a video on it. Great request! HDMI ports on computers are only for video display - getting video from computer to a screen or as an input on a video switcher. To get the video into the computer, you need a video capture device on almost all switchers. (The VR series from Roland has USB output built in, but that's very unusual)

When it will b availabale in Asia as well in india, it dosen't make sence unless it is made available everywhere, no use of making promotional videos too

This video MIGHT have been a little helpful if you had actually SHOWN the switcher, instead of showing a bad angle of it for one second.
