I did the tongue pull last night and I'm having a profound emotional release today. I consider this a good thing as I'm going through detox but I never would have guessed something so simple could be this effective. Thanks for sharing your experience Dr. P.

This emotional response is common when you do "mouth work." Most of us hold a lot of emotions in our tongue, scm, jaw, etc. Once it starts releasing all of thar you will feel much better. It may even boost your confidence to "speak your truth."

Two weeks later. Wow. Still doing 1 tongue pull per day and I realize this is an area I completely missed in 5 years of treating Bartonella and Lyme. Drain the head and neck and get the blood flowing to the brain again. Also, osteopathic craniosacral therapy is also profoundly helpful for draining this area and restoring blood/lymph/glymph flow.

I have a swollen, scalloped tongue (with the ridges) and was told that the cause is my Hashimoto’s. After doing the exercises, my breathing actually instantly improved! WOW! It’s more natural, incorporating my diaphragm, and not forced or shallow like it usually is. I’m hoping to see other positive changes like with my forward head posture. Working on my tongue positioning as well. I love ALL your content!! ❤Thank you!!

Holy moly! How many people have I gone to, to help with this mystery ear, throat face, neck, head pain on my right side? Very many. My right nostril tends to close up more than my left nostril. When I held my Kyphotic head in a straighter position, tucking my chin a bit to keep it straight, and pulled my tongue to the left, I heard a crackle sound on my right ear, felt a stretch where I usually get throat pain on my right side, and I noticed that my right nostril opened up, air flowing freely! Amazing! Thank you!😊

Hey Doc, i will teach you something today. You are super aware of your own body and your tongue. I want you to observe your tongue and its shape when you drink out of a bottle. Try first with your left hand and then try with the right hand. Tell me if you can observe the change that is in your tongue. Ill post this on Instagram also in case you miss it. 🙌 and i also had another observation, last year when i did a facial massage for my lymphatic system about 5-8 days later i got an eye stye. Thought much of it and why ot happened. 3 weeks ago i gave my wife a lymphatic massage in her face and body, guess what she got 7 days later. A eye stye.
So you are 100% correct, and its profound to be able to have my own observations over the past 15 years with all the issues and seeing where they came from. the MIND!
As a inner peace therapist i will say this, you can fix the mind. But if the body does not follow then you will only chase pain. Amd vice versa 😂

I tongue stretch and tongue circles, each day, as part of my loosening up for meditation. I can do a few slow tongue circles, and it drops me further into relaxation.

    FYI
0:30 you just said you had Autoimmune disease????
I was told this.. but I’m changing the way I say it. Due to so many titles atm. I can’t keep up… So , I’ve experienced autoimmune.. issues for a small while.. I’m trying to sort it out myself.
I see it’s a traumatic response to a past experience. However fixing it won’t happen unless I can sleep in my bed.
When I lay down no matter the direction or style .. I GET PIN AMD NEEDLES IN MY ARMS AND NUMBNESS ON SOULS OF FEET.
I never knew that having a body part go numb could be really painful . But then later on it’s hot or ice cold.
Then coming out of that process & in the middle of coming back to normal .. I can’t move at all till it passes.
I’ve gone to walk and fallen str8 to floor.
So now I find myself waking up in strange places asleep . Eg: opening fridge door to get ("? Or asleep with
Head in freezer. So far from
Normal & was funny first time, now I get so mad at self. I go to bed at 5-6 am with the pillows all around propping me up. B4 then I have to keep busy working around the house . Otherwise I’m just a
Lazy bum that my Parents abandoned when I needed them the most. When mum added say last year.
I’m still trying to process so many stages in that time.
Between the lies told and influenced upon, the blame put on me for whatever went wrong in a day .
    Anyways that’s
All shitful info on how I am where I’m at today.
    Legs are so
Sore from standing or something close to that.
But it hurts to sit also.. in my hips. Feels like the hips are being pulled out to the sides.
I’ve tried so many places for answers.
Maybe this essay will find u and I may get the answer I’m SEEKING !!
Thanks in advance if u can help . I had a partial Hysterectomy in 2018!
    TMI BUT all factors ..
Pls help if ur able to Sir

How long do we do the tongue pulling everyday? I watched twice and never saw a frequency or time.

    • @stopchasingpain
      @stopchasingpain  Місяць тому

There is no recommendation on frequency or time that depends on the individual. Sometimes you only need one pole and you were good to go sometimes it takes a few. Go by how you feel. However we do suggest you do a tongue pull once a week

My tongue has been tensing upward and making my throat close (probably after I was attempting mewing) so lately I’ve been trying to just touch to tip to the alveolar ridge and let the rest curve down to open the throat. Not sure if that’s not good 🙈🙊

    • @louisejoel
      @louisejoel 8 місяців тому +1

It's more likely his immune system was in fact weak and he's improved it by movement etc. The symptoms of immune deficiency are similar to autoimmunity because the result is inflammation. I do know people with diagnosed autoimmune diseases who have made subtle improvements through lifestyle changes (but not been cured). For example people with coeliac improve dramatically with reduction of wheat. That is a known environmental link to autoimmune disease. Most of the others are not well understood to date.
