I feel like there aren’t enough Octopath 2 play throughs to watch, and it’s such an incredibly well written game
The repeated song is called "Determination." and if you search youtube for "Determination, octopath, break" You'll find a stupidly good rendition of it from the Break and Boost remix album.
Just to chime in: Determination is the title of this tune in Octopath 1. There’s a new arrangement for this tune in the soundtrack for this game called “Unshakable Resolve”. I got goosebumps when it played for the first time in this game after recognizing the melody.
Hard agree on the Break arrangement though 👍🏼 that whole album is fantastic

Definitely one of the best turn base rpgs in a while, great music, combat, and story.
Imagine Kingdom Hearts remade in this art style though. LETSSS GOOOO been waiting for this. After final fantasy moved away from turned based jrpg system only Octopath Traveller probably made me feel the same fantasical feeling that franchise did lol anyway gonna watch it now instead of sleeping

Too bad, they didn't make a demo of final fantasy 7 remake in this style.
I made a system for my company and named it "Hikari", named after the Kingdom Hearts theme "Simple and Clean" in Japanese. I named it that because it was an iteration of something else I work on that has become complicated and hard to work with, Hikari was much more steamlined. So my first pick was pretty obvious.
I hope that you made this a series, I'll be looking forward to that!
Hikari’s opening chapter is hands down the best writing that the Octopath series has offered. Genuinely blew me away and as long as his following chapters are even half as good I’d be satisfied. I’d be so down to see more Octopath Traveler 2

The soundtrack of this game has been my obsession since the game released. I even spent an entire weekend making the soundtrack compatible with the KH2 music rando so I could listen to it there

It has improve a lot of details and aspects from the first one, but you should absolutely 100% play the first octopath if you like this one, it's that good
while ohcette wasn't my protagonsit (that would be castti whos my fave) ochette was the first person i recruited for my party and i was SO HAPPY WITH MY CHOICE. She's great, her ability is fun and unique and, most all, i think she has one ofthe best openings in terms of like theatrics, seeing ehr chasing the monster before a seamless transition into her tutorial fight.
so yeah I support picking her c:

Also as soon as I get my switch repaired I'm continuing triangle strategy, I adore that game but I was forced to make a choice I don't have the strength to make because the concequences of your choices are fucking gutwrenching in this game so I stopped...

It SHOULD HAVE won best soundtrack. Stupid, idiotic, lame cowboy game Red Dead Redemption won over it. An absolute steal and travesty. I will NEVER forgive that game for it.
