No, Abramovich is getting them to make the club more attractive so he can sell it... but if the team goes bad and doesn't qualify for CL then that big money they will owe to Leipzig, Ajax and Leverkusen will be weighting them down big time... also what if Abramovich, if the project blows up, decides to leave no matter what cause he doesn't want to pay and he sells to someone that doesn't give a shit about the club? Or Abramovich abandons the club to bankrupt? It's not like he was born a Chelsea fan... it's all business... I hope you understand what I mean...
It's actually funny to know this about Benfica, because the club is so powerful in Portugal that they control all the sports media and nobody has any idea about their debt. It's just simply omitted.

Totally a biased Chelsea fan but the Chelsea bit was pretty vague. Sorta just suggested they would be broke if they don’t qualify for champions league, or if their billionaire owner “loses interest”. Not exactly broke like some of the other teams in the video with millions in debt
DaRealPlaya2005 it's still money, it's a good method of sustaining profits...remember that, the suites are also taking they're own share of profits here and there, Arsenal is far from being broke, when yoy talk about broke teams, your talking about teams that are close to being sold
Lehlohonolo Mokotedi we are not broke, but our owners don’t give us money to spend. We have a budget of 50 million in the summer. That can only get u one good player
DaRealPlaya2005 that's always been the case ever since kroenke took over...and even before that we weren't big money spenders either way. To put a club of Arsenals stature in a broke category, not taking into consideration all the methods they use to make funds, they didn't even mention the deal we signed with adidas alone on how much we made there. We have stingy owners, it's that simple, but the club is supa profitable, hence why kroenke decided to but out Urslavs shares to own 100% of the club because he knows Arsenal is a golden goose
I wish it was as simple as "Arsenal is broke." But Kroenke owns more than 96, 97% of the club's shares. So if we have 200 mil in the chest, Arsenal actually has like 30 million pounds. The rest he pulls out as "loans" to fund the Rams new stadium.
FINANCIAL EDUCATION IS LACKING HERE. Debt and its threshold are necessary for any business. Football clubs are never "broke" due to FFP rules. They will never go into administration due to these new rules, value of players, sponsorship, kit deals, value of physical assets such as stadiums and shops, TV revenues, season tickets and income from competitions
Chelsea and arsenal were called broke for no apparent reason. Failure to qualify for cl and temporary decrease in revenue and profitability after decades of commercial success does not make a club broke. Atleast do your research properly.
Nah Barcelona send a lot of players on loan , they probably will be sold , also they are saying that rakitic, griezmann, dembele will be sold , I hope not 😢
@@FootballDaily Elliot have done all the right things so far. Buying out all the dept, Investing in the squad and infrastructure. Milan and inter have got the approval for a new stadium which is in full swing. There is absolutely nothing a new owner can add to what they are doing right now. It is up to the club to perform on the field, CL is a must for Milan and Italian clubs.
It's pretty easy to look at AC Milan and say they're fucked, given all the hype that they've attracted (also, not so secret). They're history of money mismanagement is certainly following them still, but they're definitely in the best position they've been in for years. They're easy to take jabs at and maybe shouldn't be in this list
Chelsea are in trouble because Abramovich threw a tantrum. He drew up a list of things he wanted from the British government and when they said no he threw a tantrum and said he would no longer going to invest in Chelsea Football Club. Before he fell out with the British Government he said he was going to finance the rebuild of Stamford Bridge out of his own pocket. As soon as the British Government said no to his demands he said no more money for Chelsea from him. When you look at some of the clubs on this list some of them make up the teams that wanted to set up the Super League and why they wanted to set it up. Apparently they were guaranteed a pay day of around about £300 million before a ball was even kicked. Real Madrid are also another side in financial trouble. This super league has shown this. Sadly to say so are Manchester United. Their current debt is in the billions and even though they are making the payments on the debts the current payments only cover the interest on the debts at the club. Sadly the clubs debts are not down to the club but the clubs owners. The Club was debt free for years. With the club only spending what the club made. When the Glazer's bought United they bought the club with a loan of £1.5 billion. After they bought the club they put the loan in the clubs name, putting the club in debt. Then when more money was needed to be put into the club, rather than dip into their own pockets even though they have made millions from the club. They took out further loans in the clubs name to invest in the club. Like when work was needed on Old Trafford to expand the Goal end stands that was done with a loan.

No football, more time for football manager 2020. life aint so bad after all. :)
If only fifa was still good too
Where i can download for free bro?
Football manager 2020
Looks like only Real Madrid knows the transfer market Business 😂😂😂
Copying HITC sport with opposites👀
Some of the worst decisions in football are down to Chinese business men buying clubs or just having any part in the clubs going on.
So barcalona is broke but they are willing to pay £110,000,000 for martinez
It's actually funny to know this about Benfica, because the club is so powerful in Portugal that they control all the sports media and nobody has any idea about their debt. It's just simply omitted.
10:48 WHAT
Do you really think he would want to spend his twilight years in mid table
In your other video you say that bendiga was one of the richest clubs! So inconsistent
Hey, if you own a English Premier team, can you also own a team in La Liga or in Germany? I always wondered if you can own multiple professional soccer teams in Europe as long as they don’t play in the same league.
I'm acmilan fan, now we are safe and rich
Milan Is now owned by Elliot management hedge fund. They are the best financial shape now. The team is at the top of the table as well & the hedge fund is putting up capital for the stadium.
Every club Sponsored by Fly Emirates is Secretly broke.
So Man U ain't on this list ?? Cause it publicly know we have the highest club debt in the world and now generating " cash " on a player's asset value.... oh to note too.....Utd made a higher loss in 17/18 financial year..... 38 m loss if I remember right
A loss during the year we challenged city for the title?
@@dankid8856 kind off... yeah we finished 2nd but 20 plus points of them lol , would apply 17/18 year , the year we bought Pogba... check out ...... ir.manutd.com.... you can download and read (alot 😵) of club's financial reports
@@fcunitedforever8677 .
@@dankid8856 but bear in mind... the club holds no money bar an operation budget, hence the club debt isn't on Utd, its on Utd's parent company Red Football Ltd where Utd gets the cash needed to buy players, example the cash buy of Bruno, why from last month update report from "the tosser“ clubs is near 40m in debt from purchase.
@@fcunitedforever8677 I know united are in debt but I didn't know financial losses were being made , this must put immense pressure on ole Gunnar solskjaer
Looks like this didn't hold up to well. Roman seems to be fairly interested right now.
Totally a biased Chelsea fan but the Chelsea bit was pretty vague. Sorta just suggested they would be broke if they don’t qualify for champions league, or if their billionaire owner “loses interest”. Not exactly broke like some of the other teams in the video with millions in debt
Lol Benfica featured in both rich and poor videos
It's no secret that we (Arsenal) are broke. We can't afford to so anything
Then where did you get the money for Nicolas Pepe?
Azeem Abbas installments. We paid 18 million this season.
Most clubs are secretly broke.....
So you say Benfica is poor, ok... did you even check FC Porto and Sportign CP??
B Matti maybe he should watch his secretly rich clubs
I wish it was as simple as "Arsenal is broke." But Kroenke owns more than 96, 97% of the club's shares. So if we have 200 mil in the chest, Arsenal actually has like 30 million pounds. The rest he pulls out as "loans" to fund the Rams new stadium.
finacial bubble looms when success is backed by load money. Only banks profit .
How about Porto? If they had money, they'd be Richto, no?
As an Arsenal fan it ain't no secret
Athletico Madrid has lots of reserved money from their backers in the lands of fire in Central Asia.
We have to make UCL next season
People used to mock us for finishing 4th and now we dream of that
Monaco basically needs to start selling out games and keep producing talent and they are set
Benfica is not broke. The debt is small. and the liquid debt is almost null
FINANCIAL EDUCATION IS LACKING HERE. Debt and its threshold are necessary for any business. Football clubs are never "broke" due to FFP rules. They will never go into administration due to these new rules, value of players, sponsorship, kit deals, value of physical assets such as stadiums and shops, TV revenues, season tickets and income from competitions
we all always knew arsenal were broke lol
jack daniel that's dumb
They aren't. They have a stingy ass owner who doesn't invest.
chelsea look broke right now lol
u know debts didnt mean they are collapsing right? especially on a high rolling industry like football
Hold on. I think I missed something. Benfica is secretly rich, but is secretly poor as well. Masters of disguise, they keep everyone guessing 😆
You should make a video with clubs who has highest debt.
How could arsenal be broke they have Emirates and Rwanda sponsors
45 million debt for a club that has 500 million in assets, remind me again the definition of broke?
Arsenal F.C, established in 1819. Wait, that doesn't sound right...
Sporting Lisbon, sold their only good player for a bargain and in installments to maintain financial stability.
In 2021? What year am I watching this in? Did I fall asleep for a year? What the Hell is going on?
Chelsea and arsenal were called broke for no apparent reason. Failure to qualify for cl and temporary decrease in revenue and profitability after decades of commercial success does not make a club broke. Atleast do your research properly.
Nah Barcelona send a lot of players on loan , they probably will be sold , also they are saying that rakitic, griezmann, dembele will be sold , I hope not 😢
How is benfica both in secretly rich as well as in the secretly poor vid from a month ago?
Milan need a new owner
olibz yes yes they do!
(Dougie)
Milan is probably the only club on this list with zero debt
Barcelona is broken, they can even pay Messi salaries.
How can Benfica be mention in two different videos? One about the richest clubs and this one?
How do you know they are broke ? Do you have inside information? Cause you seem to report differently from what those clubs are saying
the funny barcelona have 1b debt now
Do you not realise that most football teams are in debt
Can’t believe I watched this fake news
This is why a super League is a bad idea...all the money going to greedy badly ran projects killing the game
Panatanoikos have been in the champions league as recent as 1996. Yeah on 24 years ago that's fairly recent🤣🤣🤣
When you play soccer with your friends how many goals have you scored. L think l have 402 in 4

"As recently as 1996"
AFTV will sponsor Arsenal and save the club from bankruptcy.
5:52 So Deontay Wilder also plays soccer sometimes?
is not a Secret that AC Milan is broke sinc 12 years
DID YOU SAY WELCOME BACK? I WAS NEVER HERE MAN.
Sounds like Dynamo just got turned into a way of legitimising dirty money
His accent is killing me🤦♂
NO! Keep the brazilian clubs democratic structures on the hands of fans! The english internship model is the sick one and allowing for the destruction of the democratic structure of sport. German club are also owned by voting members ås brazilian and are stable and well manager. The private ownership model is the unstable and alienating one!
