This summer is crucial for Barcelona. They could sell all 3 100 mil+ signings, rakitic, vidal, and invest in youth to start turning things around. The problem is I really doubt Bartomeu will be smart in the transfer window and he's likely to double down with his galactico policy. Everyone knows Milan's situation, but the debt is being paid and we are getting out of it... we are appreciating our income and we are on a good path and we will be back very soon! Milan will be in the 21-22 CL for sure!
It's actually funny to know this about Benfica, because the club is so powerful in Portugal that they control all the sports media and nobody has any idea about their debt. It's just simply omitted.
Hey, if you own a English Premier team, can you also own a team in La Liga or in Germany? I always wondered if you can own multiple professional soccer teams in Europe as long as they don’t play in the same league.
Clubs can be as poor as you want them to be, but as long as they have prospects or players that can be sold for big anounts of money, they will never go broke, because even if they don't sell them, they are there as insurance that if the cash flow ever stops up, they can be saved with sale of players.

Or Abramovich abandons the club to bankrupt? It's not like he was born a Chelsea fan... it's all business... I hope you understand what I mean...
Barcelona is not poor because of the remodelation of Camp Nou. But because of that man at 9:11... Nobita is one of the worst president we've ever had he has done nothing for the club and all the succes is thanks to the Project Laporta left behind... PD atletico is not where near poor belive me... They project to be debt free at 2025..
Their wage structure also is shit. Barca made 990m in 2018-2019 (298m from media( TV) , 325m from commercial revenue, 212m from their stadium, 114m from transfers and 41M from impairments) sounds really good however they've spend 973M that year (671m on wages (players+staff) Messi accounts for over 110+m of this, 200m management costs, 51M on impairments and 51m on other salaries) . Their issue is gonna be if they extend Messi they'll have to do it without paying him more. The best solution would be to lower his base salary and giving him a higher bonus/target related salary. Also once Messi leaves they'll need to have a player worth watching, as now you also have Messi fans just watching Barca for him.
Milan Is now owned by Elliot management hedge fund. They are the best financial shape now. The team is at the top of the table as well & the hedge fund is putting up capital for the stadium.
The price AC paying weekly for their players killed them financially & debt ridden, earning potential wipe them out entirely. Too many famed & stars can't saved AC Milan.
Atleti debt Is vastly due to borrowing 200m€ from wanda group and they seems to be fine till now and are planning to pay the full debt by 2025. This can be done as the vincente calderon land is to be sold at estimated 317m€ and dont forget that everything at atleti now seems to be growing as the broadcasting was increased by 113% in the course of last decade . So atleti arent in that deep trouble as you people made .ps as they paid 215 m € taxes to spanish government and built the stadium (572m€) shows that club is reaching its financial peak
@ulises leon till now? I guess 2020 is going good maybe atleti will reach CL semis at least and top 3 finish is almost certain . Ps the way revenue has increased after new stadium is humongous so yeah they are hoping to make 530m€ revenue this year . Dont forget that the players they got rid of (lucas, grizzy, rodri, godin, filipe, juanfran) made their wage bill even smaller so yeah if they keep on going like this for next 5 yrs they will pay all their remaining 312m€ debt( as puma sponser is knocking on the door worth 81m€) Ps dont forget that in 2014 they had debt of 700+m€ and old stadium
@ulises leon dodgy transfer? They are one of thw best clubs in transfer market they've brough felix lodi llorente this season whose market values are oviously going to rise and we know they will sell all of them in profil like they did with lucas (80m€ profit) rodri(52m€) profit griezman(81m€ profit) gelson (37m€ profit) and you said that atleti arent in ucl spot but they are only 3 points adrift of 3rd place . I am sure they will reach there and dont forget wanda group and isreali ownership .they have billions to get injected if something bad happens which I think will not
@ulises leon diego costa's mentality is needed rather than his goals at atm and lemar , I think they will coup upto 40m € from him (ps he is worldup winner and shirt sales were abolutely high in his 1st season) and trippy has been excellent ( dont forget he is english and marketing of any english player is always high) felipe was needed because of his experience as godin was leaving dont forget they signed all of thier 5 defenders this summer for 80m€ never seen any team being this efficent
@ulises leon I too am not arguing but just letting you know that those deals were not that bad remember when they signed aguero? Back in 2008? For 17m€ ? That was risk at that time them he was sold to city doubling that profit to 43m€ so I guess thats reasonable with felix looking at recent history with grizzy ps he is class and trippy for 20m€ is steal he is sooool gooddd
I wish it was as simple as "Arsenal is broke." But Kroenke owns more than 96, 97% of the club's shares. So if we have 200 mil in the chest, Arsenal actually has like 30 million pounds. The rest he pulls out as "loans" to fund the Rams new stadium.
FINANCIAL EDUCATION IS LACKING HERE. Debt and its threshold are necessary for any business. Football clubs are never "broke" due to FFP rules. They will never go into administration due to these new rules, value of players, sponsorship, kit deals, value of physical assets such as stadiums and shops, TV revenues, season tickets and income from competitions
DaRealPlaya2005 it's still money, it's a good method of sustaining profits...remember that, the suites are also taking they're own share of profits here and there, Arsenal is far from being broke, when yoy talk about broke teams, your talking about teams that are close to being sold
Lehlohonolo Mokotedi we are not broke, but our owners don’t give us money to spend. We have a budget of 50 million in the summer. That can only get u one good player
DaRealPlaya2005 that's always been the case ever since kroenke took over...and even before that we weren't big money spenders either way. To put a club of Arsenals stature in a broke category, not taking into consideration all the methods they use to make funds, they didn't even mention the deal we signed with adidas alone on how much we made there. We have stingy owners, it's that simple, but the club is supa profitable, hence why kroenke decided to but out Urslavs shares to own 100% of the club because he knows Arsenal is a golden goose
Barcelona are actually run very badly behind the scenes. They used to be a club with high quality academy graduates coming out of their ears. Now they spend stupidly and there scouting seems to be much weaker than what it was. Without Messi propping them up they would be in absolute dire straights.
You guys forgot to mention my local high school club too. They wont have enough to sign Mbappe this summer unfortunately.

Arsenal isn't secretly broke, I think we've been pretty open about it.
U wouldnt know about it. He spilled the beans
In your other video you say that bendiga was one of the richest clubs! So inconsistent
we all always knew arsenal were broke lol
jack daniel that's dumb
They aren't. They have a stingy ass owner who doesn't invest.
Barca is not very secret any more lmao
Hold on. I think I missed something. Benfica is secretly rich, but is secretly poor as well. Masters of disguise, they keep everyone guessing 😆
Some of the worst decisions in football are down to Chinese business men buying clubs or just having any part in the clubs going on.
Milan Is now owned by Elliot management hedge fund. They are the best financial shape now. The team is at the top of the table as well & the hedge fund is putting up capital for the stadium.
Lol Benfica featured in both rich and poor videos
Wow benifica are in both secretly rich and secretly poor wtf is that
Monaco basically needs to start selling out games and keep producing talent and they are set
Looks like this didn't hold up to well. Roman seems to be fairly interested right now.
The price AC paying weekly for their players killed them financially & debt ridden, earning potential wipe them out entirely. Too many famed & stars can't saved AC Milan.
"Aubameyang set to leave in the summer..." bit presumptuous no?
In 2021? What year am I watching this in? Did I fall asleep for a year? What the Hell is going on?
Man City AND PSG
Most clubs are secretly broke.....
Every club Sponsored by Fly Emirates is Secretly broke.
Sporting Lisbon, sold their only good player for a bargain and in installments to maintain financial stability.
Dont forget that the players they got rid of (lucas, grizzy, rodri, godin, filipe, juanfran) made their wage bill even smaller so yeah if they keep on going like this for next 5 yrs they will pay all their remaining 312m€ debt( as puma sponser is knocking on the door worth 81m€)
Ps dont forget that in 2014 they had debt of 700+m€ and old stadium
You should make a video with clubs who has highest debt.
So you say Benfica is poor, ok... did you even check FC Porto and Sportign CP??
B Matti maybe he should watch his secretly rich clubs
Arsenal F.C, established in 1819. Wait, that doesn't sound right...
“As recently as 1996” ... Nearly a quarter of a century ago
I wish it was as simple as "Arsenal is broke." But Kroenke owns more than 96, 97% of the club's shares. So if we have 200 mil in the chest, Arsenal actually has like 30 million pounds. The rest he pulls out as "loans" to fund the Rams new stadium.
How about Porto? If they had money, they'd be Richto, no?
FINANCIAL EDUCATION IS LACKING HERE. Debt and its threshold are necessary for any business. Football clubs are never "broke" due to FFP rules. They will never go into administration due to these new rules, value of players, sponsorship, kit deals, value of physical assets such as stadiums and shops, TV revenues, season tickets and income from competitions
I'm acmilan fan, now we are safe and rich
1:39 is that Reev?
Oh my god
Didier Dechamps
It's no secret that we (Arsenal) are broke. We can't afford to so anything
Then where did you get the money for Nicolas Pepe?
Azeem Abbas installments. We paid 18 million this season.
We have stingy owners, it's that simple, but the club is supa profitable, hence why kroenke decided to but out Urslavs shares to own 100% of the club because he knows Arsenal is a golden goose
abramovic must have seen this video, hes currently spending out of control
Barcelona are actually run very badly behind the scenes. They used to be a club with high quality academy graduates coming out of their ears. Now they spend stupidly and there scouting seems to be much weaker than what it was. Without Messi propping them up they would be in absolute dire straights.
It is pretty strange to compare Dinamo and Panathinaikos with Monaco or Barcelona.
AFTV will sponsor Arsenal and save the club from bankruptcy.
You all have Benfica in both Secretly Rich and Poor 😂 poor research
Genuine question: why do Italian clubs keep going broke?
How can Benfica be in this video and also the secretly rich video? 👀
DID YOU SAY WELCOME BACK? I WAS NEVER HERE MAN.
Sounds like Dynamo just got turned into a way of legitimising dirty money
