One thing that drives me nuts (NSW) are the amount of listings that are “Contact Agent”. No public price guide listed. Drives me insane and every bit as bad as underquoting and a huge waste of time. It would be far better if prices guides were required to be public. Also bad when agents incorrectly categorise properties - eg you filter for “House” and you see empty blocks, retirement living, apartments, etc.
Interesting chat boys, also how sucky was that origin match last night far out I'm a Qlder and am not happy with our teams performance. As for the episode today, pretty sure Qld does the anything over $....... Price and price negotiable upon enquiry, there is definitely some much needed regulation in the real estate industry but only to a point, I feel it would be too complicated concerning if the government meddles too much.

Good video folks thank you muchly, WA has tried going it allow before, when they had to have there own money and military etc etc the taxes were going to be through the roof to pay for it, they thought it better to continue with us. If anything things would be even worse if they were to do it now. No we do not hate people in WA anyone saying that is a lier. I disagree with the comment from our WA friend when he said that we just dig up resources and sell it to the highest bidder, I do not think we even look for the highest bidder. Doing your own research can save you from making the mistake of your life. ATM in the US there is some kind of legal battle over buyers agents. Buyers agents being a thing is people not doing there own research. A buyers agent is not going to know you so well that the advise they give will be anything like as good as taking an interest and doing your own research.
We are definitely having a laugh re the state rivalries! What you are saying about the US is interesting. As we always say on the pod, a buyer's agent can be very useful, but should not replace your own knowledge.
