VTG is great, called and had a couple questions then ordered the 140ft of gasket I needed to do all the windows. You rarely find vendors as knowledgeable and willing to help as Rob. I have the 4900 series Hehr and my gasket is a tad different. I've enjoyed all your videos, keep them coming and I'll keep liking them!

What a great hack. Isn't Robert fantastic? Next time hold the metal channel up and gravity will take care of the gasket and keep it straight. Then just feed up.
Ah dang, that makes a lot of sense! Well I got them all in there eventually, but I did use a little liquid soap on the extra long front window to make it all the way through there. But yeah, Robert's great; I would've never figured it out on my own!

Yeah I like to live dangerously, actually I would just use scissors, they were way easier and more consistent to use than the box cutter.
Is it possible to replace roll out windows with a sliding window? The roll outs seem so difficult to work with.
The roll out windows are called jalousie windows, but sure you could replace them with something more modern. The jalousie windows let more air flow in though, so I'd personally prefer to keep them.
When replacing the Glazing Channel, did you have issues with the channel being to tight? I have already broke two panels. By no means does the glass just slip in easily with the new glazing channel.
Two things will help you there. The first is to use dish soap to help lubricate things as you slip everything together; be generous. The second is to make sure that channel sparkles before you try putting it back together, and I'm not exaggerating; any dirt or grime or corrosion will cause that pane to stick when you're trying to force it together. And I guess it goes without saying to make sure you've got the right thickness of glass for the glazing seal you're using.

Soapy water will help pull the seal through that channel more easily
I had intended to use some dish soap, but pulling them through wasn't really that difficult. I think having clean channels is a huge help.

Not related to this particular video but have you painted milled finish aluminum camper roof/skins before? And if so, what paint did you use?
You need to use a self etching primer for painting aluminum, but if you've got a fresh milled surface you need to sand it real good to rough it up before priming. Some would say that you also should top coat the self etching primer with a regular primer to avoid the acids in the self etching primer from reacting with your finished top coat.
