Aquos are by FAR my favorite flip phones in terms of design. They're so sleek, modern, and aesthetic, and I absolutely love how it has the time show up on the exterior,, though that's a trend for Japanese phones in general. I live in the US so Aquos phones are quite hard to use here,, but I really hope it gets easier since I am absolutely in love with them.
I need to learn how to customize mine . Cuz I get stuck been using it mainly to work on my writing in Japanese but it would be nice to have some regular apps like instagram or other smaller apps

Hey! Thank you for this vid :) I just got the same phone and im a lil confused about it. So, how can you connect headphones to it, just bluetooth? Also the apps, for some reason when I connect it to my computer with usb my phone only charges and doesn't connect, so I can't use ADB :( Dev mode and USB debugging are on, am I missing something?
No headphone jack, so the only way to get a headset working is either via bluetooth or if you have a mini usb to headphone jack adapter. I think you would need to download the ADB installer app on your computer first. If you type “how to install apps on japanese android flip phones” on youtube, a tutorial should come up! That’s what I followed
Hey, I had the same issue with the same phone and I just found out how to connect it to PC instead of just charge the phone. So you might wanna go to "setting" then "other settings", then you go to "storage", you go to "USB connection" in the verry bottom, and you check "MTP mode". And if it still not working, you probably have to change the micro USB cable that you use because some cable are just charging the phone instead of connecting to PC

I just recently got this phone and I've been trying to install apps for it but every time I type in the "adb install" command into Minimal ADB and Fastboot I get the "Invalid APK file" error. I've tried this with 15 different files and the same error keeps coming up. The phone is Android 5.0 so I made sure the files are compatible with it and yet the same error persists. Does anyone have a clue on how to solve this? 😔

Try looking up the video 'How to install apk into your Android flip phone' by QQ Low, it worked perfectly for my Kyocera 902kc. Once you manage to install APKPure or Aurora, you can do the rest directly from the phone. Hope this helped!

for backspace, you need to press the button right under the arrow down key :) im not sure why the sub display isn't working for you though. When your phone is closed and you press the camera key on the right side, does it not show anything on the sub display?

This one has android 5.1, and banking apps dont work. I also would not recommend it cause it’s not safe, due to this not getting security updates anymore

Honestly some of them probably won’t work where you are and the OS is also outdated, so app support is kinda meh. Safest one I could recommend is the Samsung Folder 2

compared to the samsung folder 2, I think this has less functionality as it supports less apps. It only runs on android 5.0 while the folder 2 runs android 6. Daily driver? sure if you only care about texting and calling people and doing whatsapp with some light browsing. do take note that the browser is so outdated, some sites may not even load

I think US still support 4G so there’s a good chance it will work. I’m not 100% sure though!
Be sure to check the bands, if the bands the phone uses and the bands your Carrier uses don't match, then it will not work.
