  • My personal thoughts on the Ride Warpig. Is it a true quiver killer?

Agreed on the local shop note! For the most part, shop local! Unfortunately my local shop in Ontario is a commission-based store, with super-high foot traffic. So they’re basically a bunch of Curated employees, motivated to sell you on a higher priced deck while at the same time, get you in and out as quick as possible. Really shitty experience

Can’t speak to powder. Our Midwest slopes are hard pack and icy. I never rode a Ride until the Shadowban, based on Angry’s recommendation. Blown away.
I don’t know what it takes to catch an edge on this thing. So forgiving yet carves like a dream. Good pop. Couldn’t be happier with what Ride did with the Shadowban.

One sentence that sums it all up:
Super-fat snowboard with really loose trucks...
    Well said.

Got the 2024 on the way; I’m running my A-10 ride bindings as well excited for this set up.

Not for jumps.. I had no problem spinning it. Neither did Brandon Davis. Shorter board is actually easier for spins

Exactly.I do have a problem with the spin. But it's not the board.Probably being 6'4 and 224 pounds doesn't help me much.

My top 3 vol shifted boards I’m eyeing buy are 1. Warpig 2. Party Wave 3. JL SW in that order. Pig has the edge 60/40 for me rn. How does the party wave compare to warpig in park? If you had you had to sell one, which one you selling and which one you riding all season long?

it’s not cap construction it might look like it but there’s way more of a sidewall and edge then on an actual cap construction board

Great review! thank you for sharing all this valuable info.
I'm 5'10" - 190lbs - Size 12. I'm intermediate that primarily rides groomers but want to progress into freeride & powder, would you recommend 151 or 154?
    Thanks!

@@Stoshvisual 1) 21inch on reference? I love my pig 21/22, and someone said, that narrowing stance a bit ( both bindings a little to inside was great)- but not Really able to try it out anymore this year - Just curious.,
      2) And if u ride this deep powder - like in those short clips - do u setback?
      Great review 👍

@@jirimudrunka7995 Reference is 22” so I set them in an inch, I never altered my stance or angles from the deep pow to closing day in the park that’s why I’m such a fan of this board you can set it and forget it and ride everything in sight!
