This show is really turning into something special. Killer Mike is such a thoughtful story teller and even though we live in two separate worlds the similarities give me hope that division will someday be the minority.

Lately I been listening to Drake and Killa Mike two complete different styles and from different worlds but both rappers can deliver some slick wordplays.
I'm not too familiar with Killer Mike, but I have a lot of respect for his ability to not let Bill monologue over him.
They seem like two buddies from different worlds who simply have great chemistry

Killer Mike said he was FOR the rioting and burning on Bill's Real Time show during the 2020 "summer of love". I cannot stand him. Watch that episode if you dont believe me. Dozens of innocent people died during the riots. Anyone else would have been canceled for saying it. But we all know why he wasn't. Ridiculous.

Bill, I’ve watched you for years even as a kid when you were on network tv. I don’t agree with your politics all the time but love the way you deliver the talking points. You’re a realist and can critique both parties. Most people are where that is. A little bit of this and that but I finally saw this podcast. What a breath of fresh air. It’s a great format for you. I think you should do this every real time show with the opening guest. Like you did with Rod Stewart. One of the best shows beginning to end in a while and this podcast is dope af.

Mike is the best, just comes in 100% honest, slightly shy, but never just blindly agrees. I don't agree with some of his politics, but we need people like this to be the ones to argue with rather than what's going on. (Guns, specifically). I'd feel much safer with lobbyists and people in congress like Maher and Killer lol

Great conversation from two inspirations. They both understand and love their craft. Hip-Hop and comedy have always had a lot in common in their use of simile and analogy or word-smithing. The Lonely Island made a career out of it. Also, for any curious parties, Bill mentions Tom Hanks, "Could be a stand-up". He started in stand-up as well as Michael Keaton but Tom Hanks moved away from it and onto screen acting much faster.
