@@dogsense3773the only thing I’ll say is you don’t know where you got it from for certain. The mask I’m trying to wear in this video did nothing. Nothing. The only mask that helped a little is a properly fitted n95, and properly fitted is the key word. But anyways I’m jealous, I would love to work in a restoration shop!
O k. Thought it odd mechanic wouldn't have just let the engine run for 15 minutes, then check himself. It seems to leak even with engine long off. Had valve cover gaskets replaced. Thx
Because at the time of this recording schools were still mandating mask because of COVID. They made us wear these useless face diapers. I hated every minute of it.

Thanks. This is one of my favorite things to use in diagnosing leaks. They have different dyes for AC, power steering, transmission, antifreeze, etc.

Mechanic just put dye in my car for oil leak. He said to drive for a couple days. How long can that dye stay in the oil and still be detected?
Until you drain the oil.
If you have a black light you may be able to see the lean yourself.

@@jimbike8064 sometimes when leaks are small they are harder to detect. Usually in 2-3 days you can find it. Your welcome.
Not as bad as mine I burn 4 quarts in 12 hours

@@jeffwiseman0286 2014 kia Rio 1.6 GDI I have also taken out the PCV valve and the little ball inside rattles so it's good
