Got these for a 2023 "budget" build, still pretty new to the world of FPV. Feeling pretty glad I got these, wondering if a 4S 1550mah battery is sufficient or not. Seems to fly alright to me, but it's hard to tell when I only have a Emax Tinyhawk 2 freestyle to compare it to. Also since it's super hot where I'm at, over 100°F (37.5°C) outside, efficiency loss due to heat is probably a thing. Either way, thanks for the video, still was helpful even 2 years later!
@@ninjalemon_Squash I‘m still using the same set of these motors on my quad. I never broke a single one. I bought myself 12 new spare motors because they are amazing but I‘ll probably never need those 12 spare motors because they are so durable.😂
Great video! The flight with your standard Quad seems so incredibly locked and precise! Also that location is intriguing! What is it? Looks almost like a burnt down store or restaurant...
i have the V1's and mine have straight magnets not curved like it is in the V2 that you showed. i think the main price difference might be in the stator between the velox and pacer/Fseries with the pacer and above having the thinnest laminations. i think the difference between the pacer and the F series is silver windings vs copper. i could be wrong tho but thats what i suspect. it seems like even tho the velox have the thinner gauge windings the overall efficiency might be better on the Pacer and F series due to stator upgrade. although i don't have comparable kv motors as i have f40 1950kv and velox 2207 1750kv! How do you make such a good quality video? Do you use ND filter for Gopro Hero 7? Because when I use Gopro Hero 7 with hypersmooth turned on and nd filter video jitters.
Yeah I use ND filters, and lock the shutter speed and iso, hypersmooth isn't great for all types of flying, it kind of needs the source to be somewhat smooth to begin with so if you do very high rate moves it does still hiccup and trip up
Dude the durability is awesome because I had a failsafe at 78 meters. It crashed in concrete with the motor facing down and it survived but with some scratches however it still butter smooth for the money it is the king in my opinion
They are nice but I would recommend them to a beginner like me I would recommend buying some more expensive motors like the pacer or maybe ethix cats but for a busher they are perfect👍 go and watch Max beamers video and get a perspective of every motor you buy
Those T-motors look great they sound awesome. The price is good what do you think are they smooth? By the way great ripped man and one nice edit. I think I want to get me some of those peace .

I think they are very similar to the eco 2's, definitely both very good for the money. 40A+ is generally where I'd feel most comfortable for any 5" really

I don't understand why t motor sells a budget and a mid range with a uni bell, but their most expensive and high end is 2 piece. Not that I think 2 piece is worse, I dunno if it's much stronger.
It’s possibly just because it’s an older design and maybe they will refresh it one day, but to be fair what your saying may have some truth, you can break any motor if you get unlucky, unibell or not
@@SyncFPV Perhaps if anything, T Motors motor range illustrates that T Motor believes it does not make a significant difference to performance/ durability. The white band with the colour top and bottom is so attractive on the veloxes

Dang I just found out about the t motor ft5 v2 60% (where you need to add cam, vtx, antenna, and reciever ofc) But my second Nazgul mk2 just shipped (to replace the one I drowned the other week, decided to get a new one instead of replacing all of the electronics, I can use the full frame and the motor bells as spare parts for the new one) I kindof really want the ft5 aswell... is there any reason to have 2 5inches? Or more accurately, is it not a waste of money to have two?

Sure, i use kiss, so its kiss rates and its RC : 1.2, Super : 0.72. Expo : 0.3 on pitch and roll and 0.98, 0.67, .3 on yaw

Are these the same as on the motors on the new ft5 v2 but in orange?
Couldn’t say; the ones I got were v1’s but it was a pre release v2 so I’m not entirely sure what’s on the retail model
